Trudee Treats!!!

Well, OK then….I was thinking of doing something, but if no one here likes that stuff, I guess I will just forget it….
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!!!! 
Today is my one week anniversary of opening my Blog!! So, what better way to celebrate, than to give away some treats!! Here at my house, we’re callin’ ‘em Trudee Treats!!! If you see a post with that as the title, you *know* it’s gonna be good!! 
I’m going to randomly choose TWO winners. Each winner will receive a Basic Grey 6×6 paper pad, 3 yards of co-ordinating grosgrain ribbon, and a buncha co-ordinating Primas!
Now, you can’t choose which one you win. I have Scarlett’s Letter and Blush. Are ya bouncin’ yet? Feelin’ kinda giddy? I AM!! Spring has sprung here, and I love seeing the trees pop open with their flowers and leaves. I love smelling the hyacinths in bloom. I love hearing the birds sing in the morning.

Yummy candy Trudee! My favorite thing about spring is the renewed life all around and the return of many kinds of birds to our feeders.
My favorite part of spring is just the feeling ~ you can FEEL spring in the air and I love it. Yes I’m feelin’ LUCKY!

My fave part of spring is the thunderstorms. Seriously! I love listening to the rain and watching the sky light up with lightning and hearing the roaring booms. (all of this is great without the TX tornados!)
Trudee Treats….that name is making me smile. Reminds me of our beloved Lab who we would always ask “Do you want a puppy treat?” His ears would always perk up and he would start drooling. Much like me and others at the sound of Trudee Treats.
My favorite part of Spring is my garden starting to come to life! That and I can get my two boys outside to play (the house stays much tidier that way)!

Spring is my most favorite season, I love it all, but I think that my most favorite thing about spring is all the colors! The wonderful fresh spring green that is only found in nature, all the beautiful tree blossoms in pinks and whites promising good thing to come. the wild flowers in every color under the rainbow. All the beautiful bright bulb flowers , hot pink tulips, blue irises, and of corse the bight yellow daffodils!! The sky is always so blue and bright, sometimes with poofy white white clouds. It’s the best season ever All those colors and beauty to draw insiration from, love it!!

My favorite part of spring is no more snow and more time outdoors — hiking, walking by the river, smelling the fresh air!
My favorite thing about Spring is all the colors - the white Bradford Pear trees, the purple and pink blooms on the other trees (not a gardener, don’t know the names) and just how quickly everything greens up! And being warm again after so much cold weather.

My favorite part of spring is when I see the blossoming apricot tree outside my kitchen window. When I see the buds………it is a surprise every year…it reminds me that Spring is springing!!

My favorite part of spring is the warm weather! We live near a lake and we’re really looking forward to going on our “after dinner walks” around the lake. We let the kids run and play, and sometimes we’ll stop and feed the ducks. It’s just so much fun being with the family outdoors!
With three boys, opening the windows to let the fresh air in is my favorite part of spring!! And, I love the flowers too.
My favourite part of spring is when all the trees get leaves and the flowers begin to bloom! It’s warm and everything comes alive again! Up here in Sweden the winters are LOOOOOONG and DARK (in December the sun sets about 3 PM!), so spring is SO WELCOME!
My favorite part of Spring is the happy feeling it gives you relating to everything coming back to life. It’s like a new start for everyone and everything.
What fun. I like Treats, and some from Trudee would be faboo. My favorite part of spring is seeing the golden daffodils bloom and watching our Plum tree burst into flower. Everything just feel fresh and new.
I live in North Pole, Alaska, we still have snow on the ground here…but, we still consider this spring. Because it’s warming up, the snow is slowly melting and I am filled with joy that winter is over. My favorite part of spring is feeling iike I have come through and survived another winter. I feel exuberant and filled with hope!!!

Oh my…these treats look fab! Since it is snowing in Calgary as I write this, I would say the end of snow would be super! Moreover, I would love to get my kids out and burn off “their beans”!

My favorite part of Spring? All the green and flowers on the trees. Mine has yellow blossoms and looks so amazing it always makes me smile when I drive up the street and see it! The worst part is when those millions of yellow flowers make their way to my courtyard and back patio, begging to be cleaned up! I love the beautiful flowers that pop up and open. The azalea’s are one of my favorites, but what is best are the daffodils I get everytime one of my children goes outside. Keep a vase by the sink for them!!! Hope everyone has a happy spring and gets lots of daffodils!!!!

My favorite thing about Spring is when the crocuses, tulips, and other bulbs start to bloom. We have a rock garden in our front yard and I walk by everytime I go to and from my car.

Wow, what Bee-u-tiful Trudee Treats! I have to say, my favorite part of spring is when everything becomes colorful again. Living in PA during the winter, everything has this grey, boring, depressing, bare look to it. In spring the grass gets a little greener, flowers pop out of the ground, and everything looks happy and colorful again.
I have never ever had/nor seen any Basic Gray paper. Spring… The smell in the air, flowers in my yard, kids able to go outside and play in few layers, able to take long walks, grilling! Need i say more?

My favorite part of spring is really the relief from winter. I love to finally get to change out of my heavy winter clothes and start wearing my cooler clothes. It makes me feel like I have a whole new wardrobe!

My favorite part of spring is seeing the tulips come up in my front yard. They were a gift from my grandfather several years ago and boy have they multiplied! I love the fact that you don’t have to wear big coats any more too!

My favorite part of Spring is that smell that’s in the air. . .my little cousin always said “it smells like worms.” I don’t know if I’d say that, but it’s a different smell from winter air!
My favorite part of spring is all the ornamental Japanese cherry trees in bloom - they’re so gorgeous! And I love it when all the little pink petals cover the grass.
I love when the flowers on the trees bloom. When you step outside the fragrance is overwhelmingly beautiful! I love to sit on my swing in the front yard and look out over the fresh cut grass and reminisce about all the wonderful things that happened last year.
This sounds ironic, but I like the rain that comes during Spring. Because when it’s Spring Rain, that’s where the wildflowers grown. The other times it rains and just floods.

The robins returning home is my favorite part. They are so cute hopping around the lawn, tilting their heads back and forth! I have three robin rubber stamps and need to find some more.

I love that unbelievable bright, clear green of the grass. I live in Dallas, so it doesn’t look like that for long, lol. It’s soon dark and thick (then brown). When it’s bright green, it just seems like everything in the world will be good.
I also like the perfect weather - I can zip around in my sassy convertible!

I have always loved your work so I was thrilled you started a blog. I love to visit. My favorite part of Spring is the warmer temperatures. I love not being cold anymore, and feeling the warmth of the sun. Oh yeah, the pretty flowers and greenery are nice too.
I love that the kids can finally go outside and burn some energy after a long winter! I love the new buds and flowers that are starting to pop up and the sound of the birds chirping away. My daughter’s birthday is in the spring, and so is DH & my wedding anniversary! I guess that’s more than one, but there are so many things to love about spring!

My absolute favorite part of spring is the blooming of all the flowers and trees. I love to see everything turning green and all the other beautiful colors of spring!
My favourite part of spring is hard to choose. As a student, I like spring because that’s when the school year ends - it’s not as big an incentive now as it used to be before I needed to work all summer, but it’s still nice to have a change of scene. I also like having fresh homegrown vegetables again (I know a lot of them aren’t ready until summer or fall, but there’s always asparagus and rhubarb).
I drove my Mom downtown today (Washington DC0 to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom, surrounding the tidal basin and the Jefferson Memorial. Now, that’s my favorite part of spring!!
I love the fabluous feeling of wearing sandals again.
My very favorite day of spring is the day I notice that the Weeping Willow branches have turned from brown to neon green, before they leaf out or anything. It’s how I know winter is over!

Oooo - what PRETTY treats~ My favorite part of spring is when the first crocus bloom, and then all the other bulbs follow suit and I have a wonderful colors in my yard again!
I love watching the Robin’s busy making their new nests for their soon-to-be baby Robin’s. We have several large evergreen trees and the Robin’s love it in there. The trees are so dense and prickly that the cats can’t bother the Robin’s and their babies, so everyone is safe.

What’s not to like about Spring?? I love it all, the flowers just bloomin’, the birds chirpin, the wonderful weather (rain or shine). I love camping in our travel trailer and waking up and hearing all the different sounds.
My favorite part of spring is the flowers. I love when the flowers start to bloom. It’s like we have been living in black and white and someone finally colored the world. I love it! My very favorite time of the year!!!!

This sounds silly, but my favorite part of spring is getting my husband back. He plows in the winter so there are times I will not see him for days at a time. Then he needs a couple days toget back to normal. Spring is the light at the end of the tunnel!

Hi! The best part of Spring is that first hint of sunlight rising on the horizon and the birds just waking up. I bundle up, sit on my back patio with a nice hot cup of tea and either read a few chapters in the Bible or simply sit in the quiet of the a.m. to watch the sun move through the trees and watch the leaves gently blowing. I like to think God’s whispering in those quiet moments, telling me He’s made this morning just for me, and my day is off to an amazing start with tons of energy to go! Spring and all its smells and beauty are just the best!
My favorite part of spring is hearing the birds spring. I can stand outside while winter and start hearing the birds sing a little bit by little bit. That is how I know spring is coming. When it is finally here the birds are singing up a storm. Plus another favorite part of spring is being outside. I hate winter! I love being outside and love the smell of earth and flowers blooming. Why I ever choose to live in a place that has all 4 seasons. Nothing is more meaningful that being outdoors renewing those feelings of spring!

What I love about spring is all the colors of the flowers. My husband will drive me around just so that I can see all the colors. I can not have certain types of flowers or plants because of my asthma, so seeing them is the next best thing

OK - was so excited about the treats, forgot to leave my favorite part about spring!!!!! I love the first flowers popping up. It means life is renewing itself and just basically puts a smile on your face. OK - think I’m good to go now ; )
I love waking up and the birds are singing me a good morning song and the sun is already or just about to shine and I do not have to wait all day to start my day with the sun now. I love spring with all of the new colors- tree blooming and flowers a bloomin’.
My favorite part of spring is seeing my little girl’s eyes light up when I get out our jackets. She loves to be outside and it was such a cold winter we were mostly indoors. Now we can go for walks together. She is 10 months old.

Two things I love about spring- first, the warmth. I love just sitting in the sun, like a cat! Andsecond, the greening of the plants. I love to watch the progress of the trees leafing out, and the flowers in my garden coming up from the dirt.

mmmmm….spring….when I can actually leave the screen door open for the cat to go in and out at his leisure and not have to deal with stinkin’ flies. My favorite things of our short lived spring in Texas are the beautiful wildflowers. You haven’t lived until you’ve seen a whole field of bluebonnets. It’s just incredible!

My favorite spring thing is the babies. The beef calves across the road, the bunnies, the geese getting ready to hatch their babies in the middle of the field, I pray they move them quickly! It is so wonderful!!!

My favorite part of Spring would have to be the desert trees start to look like trees and not these sticks poking up out of the ground! Yeah, you get the picture, a bunch of brown ugly sticks…just hanging out of the dirt, when finally spring comes and they burst to life with yellow (aaachhhooo) flowers on them!

My favorite thing about spring is to see all the gorgeous colors that seem to pop up everywhere, and all the different shades of green that pop up in the different trees. In the summer they all seem to be the same shade of green, the warmer air (although today we woke up to snow. Who would have expected? LOL!)
I love every part of Spring–it’s my favorite season. I love the flowers, the new leaves and grass, the warmer weather, Easter–you name it, but maybe my favorite part is that my birthday is in the Spring! Lucky me, right?!

We live on a hill overlooking a river…..there are many trees along the rivers edge……..we know it is a sure sign of spring when the leaves start to bud……first we see a light green haze amongst the trees…….as the days pass, it deepens in intensity ’til the trees are all leafed out. It is a beautiful process experiencing Mother Nature bring spring to our little part of the world.

My favorite part of spring is that I can be outside without the mosquitos biting me in the spring. I swear in just a little while, they will be chasing me from the moment I jump out of the car until I run in and shut the door!!!!!!!!! They even single me out when they get in the house. So I like to take advantage of spring when they are not around.

I’m itching to plant stuff outside. Flowers, veggies, etc! But I’m waiting until I’m SURE we are done with snow. Last year, I planted too early & the snow killed my herb garden.

Ah…even the thought of spring makes me happy! Spring means color! Flowers everywhere…here in the Pacific Northwest we have an abundance of long lasting blooms. The daffodils and crocus…then the tulips and rhododendrons, the lilacs…I love them all!

My favorite part of spring is watching the world come alive again. The sky is the bluest, the greens are the greenest, the birds sing louder and I love to hear the frogs at night. Spring is my favorite time of year and I get out and enjoy it all that I can.
My favorite part of spring is seeing the grass go from brown to green, and watching the tiny buds on trees turn to freshly sprouted leaves. I love watching the trees go from bare branches to fully-leaved in about 2 weeks (in this part of the country). The warm evenings and longer hours of sunlight are very uplifting!

Springtime (when if finally happens) here in Alaska is AMAZING!!! Kodiak isn’t called the Emerald Isle for nothing. Everything is so green and fresh. The Eagles are out in the hundreds. The days are getting longer. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to live here.

My favourite thing about spring is colours, colours, and more colours. Whether scrapping scenic photos with plants/flowers in bloom or pics of the kids the colours are just so eye catching and leaves so many possibilities to work with. Oh yeah and I don’t have to put my puppy’s coat on her anymore (if you ever thought bundling up kids is bad try putting a coat on a puppy!!!)
Fun Treats! I love tulips, baby chicks and ducks, as well as new little lambs. Of course my favorite thing about spring will be celebrating my daughter’s birthday. She will be a year old two weeks from today.
