Fun stuff! Congrats on being published. I would have to say one of my favorite girly things is the color pink. I love pretty much anything pink from my pink handbag to pink flowers to pink frosting on cakes. Pink pink pink! I can’t get enough of it–especially since I am surrounded by boys in my life. If I could I’d paint my bedroom pink, but I think my husband wouldn’t like that too much.

My favorite girly thing has to be my huge collection of high heels. I don’t know if it’s because I’m 4′11″ tall or because I secretly want to be Sarah Jessica Parker, but I LOVE them. Are they comfortable? No. Do they make me feel 5′10″ and leggy? Yes. And believe me, I’m anything but leggy! So that’s it…my favorite girly thing! Oh, and congrats on your 2 month anniversary and your publication. What fun!

Wow that is so cool! I think my girly thing would be flowers. I love them when my husband give them to me I must take a thousand pictures so they keep forever. Thanks for the chance for blog candy.

Hello, the absolutely “girly” thing I like to do is, my daughter and I will paint our nails, do our hair, put face masks on and just be silly!!!! It is sooo much fun and I feel like a kid all over again, LOL!!!

Wow sweet candy! Hmmmm…. my favorite girly thing would have to be our new tradition at our condo each year. We have girls night and put on fake nails and watch chick flicks and do facials. My daughter is married and I am the only girl at home now. We have a friend that we go with each year and she and her daughter come over to our condo and we send the boys to her condo to play. We have a blast!

Girlie thing…well, lip gloss is a must…everyday, but my fave is a brand new pair of skinny tiny sparkly shoes!!!

My favorite girly thing to do is get a pedicure. Here in Okinawa there’s a place called Cocok’s where they do the leg & foot massage and then they do awesome artwork on your toenails. It’s really a special event to go and get your toes done at Cocok’s.

I have sooooo many girlie things that I adore~ from pretty sparkly necklaces and jewelry to nail polish and manicures….all the way down to a sweet kiss for the little babies that I love to hog on, flowers in the garden, and a warm kiss from hubby (that counts, doesn’t it?)

Hmmmm, favourite girlie thing, has to be my GHDs, can’t live without them. They travel with me in hand luggage incase my suitcase gets lost!!!LOL!!!

My favorite thing is anything I can fit in a “girly” tote bag. I like to tote around various stages of a current swap I’m involved in. Gotta be able to tote books and magazines around. Not to mention the infamous Catalog.

My favorite girly thing huh? Well up until about a year ago I didn’t wear much makeup or get very girly, as no one really cared, but now that I have someone that cares (my sweet new DH), I love to get dressed up. I think my favorite girly thing would have to be ear rings. I don’t know something about putting them into my ears, especially if they dangle a bit and swing around, makes me feel ultra femanine.

Congratulations for your well-deserved recognition! You are such a great inspiration to all of us! Now, for my favorite girly thing…I LOVE to get together with a friend at a coffee shop for a nice long chat. Maybe I should make a phone call…

Anything that smells good to me and fresh…I love spritzing on my favorite scent (just not too heavily!) and “‘wafting” through with a hint of that lovely smell…makes me feel like a girl (which I no longer am, but I can still feel like one, can’t I?).

You have such an amazing style I can’t wait to see what you got published, “oh how I wish I could be you!” My love for shoes is definitely GIRLY. My hubby has a fit if he sees me drag in another pair of shoes, and whenever my mom is here because we always go shopping he warns her not to let me buy any more shoes!! LOL But of course that never stops me, I just sneak them in!! Awesome blog candy and thanks for the opportunity to win!

Since I am so busy with my small children (who now want to get up at five everyday!), I don’t really have time for all things girly. So, on the weekends, I spend a couple of hours exfoliating my face, plucking my eyebrows and putting on makeup…makes me feel less like a “mom” on those days!

My favorite girly thing is to get a pedicure, with salt scrub of course. Then to wear my favorite kind of shoes, girly flip flops!! I also love to watch my girls at dance class, they are 4 and it is so cute.

My favorite girlie thing has to be my “philosophy’s” pure and amazing grace lotions and cologne…I also love this company, one other thing is their powder foundation in a small bottle with an attacted sponge applicator-w/ spf 15! Just glide over your face and go….I love your blog and visit everyday……you touch many!!!

What is my favorite girly thing? Hmmm….I would have to say good skincare products (I’m a fan of Murad), quality makeup (Lancome) and good hair care products (Tigi). My husband always jokes that I have a mini chemical arsenal in my bathroom…and he would only be half correct (as my products are made from natural ingredients).

Yay for you Trudee! Girlie girl for me is a pedicure and a new toe ring! I’ve got quite the collection going on and they look fabulous on newly scrubed and painted tootsies!

What super treats you are giving away! I’m not much of a girly girl but I did rencently get my ears pierced and I’m loving looking at all the earrings I wil soon be able to wear.

My favorite ‘girly’ thing? Girl time with my girls! My oldest (13) doesn’t get into it anymore, but I love doing my younger girls’ (10 and almost 8 ) hair and nails!

#2 thing - painting my daughter’s fingernails. She loves all things girly, but she feels so “fancy” when her nails are painted, so it brings me joy to see her smile when I paint them for her (she’s 6)

I live in an all male household, including our pets, as my daughter is in college. When I come out of the shower, you KNOW a female is in the house as I and the bathroom smells of plumeria. I’ve used the shower gel, lotion, powder, everything. I AM a walking plumeria after I shower. ; )

Fake tanning lotion!!! In the dead of winter here in New Hampshire, there’s nothing like the feeling I get when I apply some fake tan on for that instant ‘pick-me-up’. Being an Australian in New Hampshire, I can’t do without my tan (real or fake)! It instantly picks my spirits up, blows away that cabin fever and helps me ‘grin and bare it’ for another few weeks!

My favorite girl things are MAC pigments. In nail polish, clear gloss, on eyes - cheeks I use them everywhere!

ps.s I can not tell you how many times I have been tempted to color on cards with them, or how many times I have been tempted to see if shimmering chalks would work on my eyes! LOL!

Favorite girly thing, hmmm. I LOVED the one pedicure I got, and I cannot leave the house without lipstick. Every night, I put on lip gloss before I go to bed. I bought some AVON Disney lip gloss for my daughter, and I was saving it for her birthday. I opened them and smelled them, and oooh, I HAD to use them. What a fantastic way to end my day with strawberry or grape lip gloss.! I guess I will have to get some more!

My favorite “girly thing” is painting my nails and toes in a variety of colors. If they are done I feel my hands and feet look pretty. When you work with your hands it’s nice to see your shiny colored nails. And, I go for crazy colors on my toes in the summer…..my granddaughter suggests colors I would shy away from. FUN!!

He thinks every special occasion should be celebrated with candy, perfume, flowers, a card and a new diamond. Of course they were small to start with. But after 32 years of marriage the last 3 years they have been 2 carats. He’s a keeper for sure. So that is why diamonds are my favorite girly thing.

Thanks for blogging on a daily basis, Trudee - it’s fun to read! I love lip gloss/lipstick. I have a drawer full of it at home. Everytime I’m at a store that sells lip gloss or lipstick, I have to stop and look. I can’t walk out of the store without buying one! And it’s not like I’ll ever use all that I have!

I’m pretty much a girly girl. I love anything pink, bling, yummy smells, pampering and shopping, but my favorite girly thing has got to be Barbie.

Yes, I’m a grown woman, but I still love this doll! I buy the collector additions and still have cases and cases packed away of dolls, clothes, furniture, houses, cars and more from my childhood. I think it has something to do with the fantasy of it all. There’s no way my DH would go for a pink house, full of pink furniture and fancy pink cars, but I can always live the dream through Barbie. Perhaps my DH is just jealous of my love for Ken.

OK, this probably makes me sound a bit odd. I’m not a freaky closet Barbie player or anything. I just love all that her girly empire is.

I am known as the “bag lady” around my home. You can NEVER have too many. My favorite girly thing is sitting in the middle of the bed with my sister, talking and laughing like school girls again. My DH thinks we are silly and my DS just rolls his eyes at us. The next best girly thing is my closet full of shoes…I love shoes!

I’ve always told my husband that when we finally win that lottery, I’m going to have my hair “done” every day at the salon.

I have raised 4 sons, and didn’t get to do any of the fun, girly stuff…sniff sniff…but I do love my boys! I love my rings too, as my engagement ring was my Grandmother’s, and my wedding band was my Mom’s. They are very special to me

As for girly stuff…. I love nice clothes, but I’m not a {big} clothes shopper… same w/shoes… makeup is all from the grocery store (LOL!), but I MUST have only the very best for my hair!!! Expensive shampoo, expensive product, expensive flat-iron. So funny how we have our little “things”!

I am the most ungirly person. I wear jeans, running shoes, sweats socks, and usually shop the men’s department for shirts and tops. I just hate the mall (I know that is pathetic) and rarely wear makeup and never any jewelry excpet my plain band wedding ring. I get anxiety attacks just thinking about doing girl stuff. My daughter is completely the opposite tho. SO probably the most girly thing I do is use mascara. I like that new sort that has two wands-one white lengthener and the other the mascara end. I am white as paste from not getting a tan so at least my eyes look okay. I also use an unscented super moisterizer but hubby takes it and I always run out because he just throws the bottle away. Its hard to find some unscented items but I dont use anything smelly.

I have to say that I have loved learning about Philosophy products as well, but my favorite girly thing is a deep reflexology treatment and pedicure. “Hands down” my feet love this the most! Would LOVE To win all that “girly” blog candy too.

I am generally not a girly girl and am one of those with the 10 minute shower makeup rountine, however, I am so girly when it comes to those fruity scented body butters from either the body shop or Bath and Bodyworks. I never choose the plain scents and love all the mango, coconut scents. They remind me of when I was a teenager and my friend and I had every flavor of Bonnie Bell lipsmacker there was! YUM!

Wow, what great treats! I would love to be the winner of all those goodies. As for girlie things, I have to say that I love rings. I am on a rose gold kick at the moment! It just has the loveliest shade of pink. I just can’t get enough.

My favorite girly thing is “hair pretties” as my 2 year old daughter calls them. You can never have enough things to put in your hair! LOL

I’ve never been a girlie girl - but must admit that I do so enjoy a special foursome outing with gal pals that we’ve been doing for the last couple of years. Just a time to catch up with hugs and storytelling. We head out for a very early dinner and close the place down. Time flies with special GFs!

My favorite girly thing has definately got to me manicures, pedicures & my waxing…I love being pampered!

As a mother of 2 boys, I love my girly-just-for-mommy things. I love my acryllic (fake) nails and going to the salon to get them done. I love sipping tea and using my flowery tea pot and tea cups. And I really love purses. A girl can never have enough purses (or black shoes).

It sounds silly, but my favourite girly thing is my hair. I always keep it long enough to frame my face, and no matter how drab or unfeminine I’m feeling all I have to do it tuck a piece behind my ear or twirl it between my fingers and it makes me feel all girl

I love,love, love all things girly! I can spend hours in Sephora oohing and aaahing over all the makeup. I do admit, I’m a hair product and make up junkie. My current faves that I’m addicted to are the Pureology line for haircare and Bare Escentuals for makeup. I’m also really, really partial to Bliss Spa and will have to find some time and money for dh and I to make a quick getaway there again (he’s my favorite spa partner but don’t tell)

My favorite girly thing is a pedicure and manicure! Soo relaxing and fun! I only do this about four times per year so it’s always a real treat!

Fresh flowers make me feel VERY feminine.
I love the color purple, and for some reason, it’s much more girly to me than pink.
I also love soft, silky anything…skin, sheets, pajamas. Those things make me feel very feminine.

As you know I recently had surgery. I just *had* to take my Principal Secret skin care routine so I could pamper myself in bed! I finished it off with lip gloss. It something that makes me feel good and I do get compliments about my skin.

But I am totally addicted to having stuff on my lips. Here I was, just out of surgery, finally on my way to my hospital room (totally drugged by the way) with my husband by my side. He said that as I was transferring to my hospital bed the first thing I said to my him was, *Babe, I need my lip gloss.* My lips were so dry and I just wanted to feel good! He still laughs about that!

Well, considering the fact that I just went to my favorite store, Harold’s, I’d have to say that my favorite girly thing is pretty skirts and accessories. A cute skirt and pretty jewelry to match just makes me feel pretty!

One of my favorite girly things is to have several pictures of children around my home. I have a large pic of a child fishing, a pic of a child saying a bedtime prayer, and a pic of a mother holding a child. These are not photographs but matted and framed pics.

My favorite girly thing is the color pink. Honestly I have something pink on everyday. Whether it is my pink phone or my purse with pink somewhere, under wear, lip gloss. I even say when I am tired and my eyes turn pink it is a fashion statement. Men can not get away with having so much pink, so it is one of the many reasons I love being a girl!

Once a week I do beauty treatment day…facial mask, finger and toe nails, pluck my eyebrows-well, you get the picture….and my girls, now 7 & 10 participate in the nail polish part of their fingers and toes–we usually eat some sort of treat, and make a big deal out of it.

Anyway it sounds corny but my favorite girly thing is my 6 mo old daughter. We have two boys (2 & 4) and thought we’d add another brother to the mix…only the brother turned out to be a sister.

We had no idea how much fun we were in for and are thoroughly enjoying our new “girly” baby!

Hi! New to your blog and loving it!

I have a few girly things I love. The first is a mommy treat - a spa pedicure! I just love having soaked feet that have been scrubbed and smoothed and painted! The second is also a mommy treat, in a different way. I love baby girl clothes. I have a 1 yo and I love to shop for her. Shopping for her clothes is so much more fun than shopping for clothes for my 3 yo son! ~:-D

My favorite girly thing is definitely getting a pedicure. I love having my feet massaged, nails trimmed and painted, and wearing sandals. Actually I love all things girly….no tomboy in me at all!

My favorite girly thing would be pink sequined flip flops. I just love them, I feel all girly, fun and hip when i have them on. Great question!

Hmmm. I used to have so many favorite girly things that I loved and did. Clothing, hair salon, shoes basically anything that was centered on me. Now, since kids and husband, I have had to prioratize what I get for me. Crafts—or clothing. Well, Stamping has won out, but I still love a great perfume and a pink top. Only now I need to wait for Chritmas or Birthday. My new love is Stella rose perfume!

I wouldn’t consider myself very girly-girl at all!!! If I had to pick one thing though, I love my True Blue Spa products from Bath & Body Works, especially the ‘Heel of Approval’ moisturizing treatment. Your feet’s gotta look good now that summer’s around the corner!

My absolute favorite thing is pedicures! Oh how I love them, just can’t afford them nearly as often as I would like!

My girliest pleasure is pedicures! I really love the OPI “Kinky in Helsinki” polish, so I always bring a bottle of that too!

OMG I LOVE philosophy also. My favorite is their Grace perfumes. I have a different favorite one almost every day, today is Inner Grace. Can’t get enough of all their stuff.

My favorite girly thing would have to be a nice warm bubble bath….

My favorits girl thing is going to the hairdressers and having my hair washed and head scrubbed followed by a blow dry.

2nd is manicure /pedicure - French only, Its so clean and I feel so finished
