Trudee,
I love your blog and your creations! Congrats on your recent Papertrey Guest Stamper win! Can’t wait to see your new ideas and cards with the new set, which rocks by the way….
M
Your work is amazing !! I especially love your pomegrante poppies !! question :are your cards available for sale ? thanks for the beauty and inspiration !!! Liane
Great job on the blog - I read it every day! Congratulations on your hits! My question is, “When you sew on your cards, do you sew through to the base of the card so that it shows through? Or do you try to sew the layers and then adhere it to your card base?” Thanks!
Hi Trudee! I subscribe and I’m here so much that you’d think I was stalking you!
I just love your creativity. A question….hmmm. You usually answer mine on your posts. You may have answered this already, but how long does it usually take you to finish an average card and where does most of your inspiration come from?
I think it’s about time for me to win something, so hopefully I’ll win your Trudee Treats!
What fun, I don’t subscribe to your blog via email, I have you on my Google Reader. It is a great way to keep up with all you creative ladies.
I subscribe by google reader, but my ? is……What is your favorite scrapbooking tool?
Cool treats! I’m a subscriber, but with Google Reader … Anyways, a question … When chossing a stamp set to buy, what things run through your mind? Love the style, the shape etc…
I’m a new subscriber–great work for the Papertrey Ink contest!!
Here’s my question: what camera do you use to photograph your flowers? BEAUTIFUL clarity!
I love your blog and check it every day for updates, but now that I’ve signed up for updates, I’ll always know when you’ve posted something new to ogle! I love your stamping style! My question is….How do you stay organized? I know you have all the new storage stuff (which is way cool), but do you find yourself eventually stamping in a space that is 12 inches x 12 inches (like me), or do you put things away as you use them so you can always find them? Any tips to share?
Hello! My question to you: have you ever bought anything craft related that you regretted because it wasn’t worth the money? I like to know because I want to be a careful buyer and if I know that someone was dissapointed in something, it may sway my decision.
Thanks!
My question is “What is one thing you are most grateful for” Thanks for a chance at some wonderful goodies. Off to subscribe!!
Hi Trudee… love your blog, I check it daily. I’m a subscriber too… My question is this.. How did you step up your game (so to speak).. How did you go from being an ordinary stamper to someone whose work is so admired?
What fun treats! Congrats on your hits, they’re well deserved! My question: How much do you love living in Asheville? I spent a year there between my undergrad and grad school years, and I LOVED it. It’s been 10 years since I moved back home to Delaware, but I keep telling myself I’m going to get back down there for Bele Chere! Have a slice with spinach & artichoke at Barley’s for me!
I’m a suscriber….love catching up on your blog each day…don’t always comment with my 8 month old trying to grab everything….but I’m pretty good at keeping the mouse out of her reach!
How much stamping do you get in each day?!
Thanks for the blog candy and congrats on your stamping success!
Trudee,
Well, I’ve been visiting daily for a while now–but as of now, I’m a delighted subscriber. hooray!
My questions is- where do get your inspritation? You are very talented!
p.s please pick me! (LOL)
Jeanne
Those are some great treats! I have you on my Google Reader, does that count? Congratulations on the Papertray Ink contest! You’re a star stamper!
My question is: do you have a method for listing the card details? It’s such a tedius task and I hate doing it, but I know I always like to know the details.
Hello! I subscribe to your blog and visit weekly! What is your favorite color/shade to use when making cards?
Thanks for such generous and amazing blog candy! I really enjoy your blog. You’re so creative!
I just found your blog from Allison (Stampin’ When I Can), and I love it! You are so talented! My questions is where do you find the inspiration for all your gorgeous creations? (I love your flourishes card with the Baroque Motifs set!)
I just stumbled across your blog tonight, but I will be subscribing! I am amazed at how many stamping blogs are out there. I am constantly finding new ones and am running out of time to read them all. I guess that would be a question…any secrets to managing your time? I find myself spending hours on the internet getting “inspired” but have a harder time getting into my stamping room to carry out that inspiration!
I too read your blog every day now that I have found it, two weeks running, LOL… It is a grand place…
What are you favorite stamps to use?
reflections:0)
Hi! I just found your blog today, thanks for pointing where to suscribe
My question for you is: what time of the day do you like to use in stamping (morning, evening) and why?
Thanks
I found your blog via PaperTrey contest. Congrats on your win & your blog success! I subscribed to keep up w/your amazing artwork! Question, what is the next tool on your “must have” list to buy?
Thanks for keeping up such a fantastic blog and sharing so much wonderful inspiration. My question is: Assuming, of course, that you occasionally look at a card you are in the process of making and find that something doesn’t feel quite right, what is your thought process or how do you go about finding the right design resolution?
Congrats on 50K! You are just so amazingly talented!
I’d like to know how long you’ve been crafting/making cards and if you have always been artistically inclined. Also, do you think you’ll design stamps and devote yourself to this craft full-time… in the future ?
I just discovered your blog recently and love it! My question is: How in the world did you come up with the adorable fish from the Little Lady stamp set? I love that card!
Congrats on the milestone. My question is: if you had to work with black, white and just one other color, what would it be?
Hi Trudee -
Congratulations on the Guest Star Stamper honor. You certainly deserve it. Beautiful card, I don’t know how you look at lady bugs and see tulips, but wish I did!
I stumbled upon your blog accidentally about a month ago and have looked at EVERYTHING on it. I look forward to checking for new inspiration daily. I am amazed by the fact that you have a full-time job, a garden, a house and 4 pets to take care of and you still find time to create such beautiful work on a consistent basis.
My question is what kind of paper cutter do you like best and do you ever sleep?
Thanks for sharing your amazing work with the rest of us.
Congratulations on your Papertrey win and your soon to be 50k hits! Not too shabby for someone that wasn’t considering a blog not too long ago.
Hmmmm…now what to ask? What hints can you share as far as planning out your embellishments? For example, I am always gluing down my layers and then bam…it hits me that my ribbon would have looked so much better if I would have put it under the first layer and so on. I always seem to think about my embellishments as an afterthought.
TFS!
Linda
Great blog candy! I absolutely love your stuff. You are so talented. My question is how long have you been stamping?
Your work is just amazing. And your look is so different on each card, you are so talented!!
My question is how often do you stamp in an average week?
I subscribed to your blog, but I will most likely check it before I even get the email of an update!!!!
Thanks for the chance to win those great prizes.
I can’t believe I have never been to your site before! thanks to Allison I found it! I love your Blog Banner! My question would be did you take the picture and make the banner yourself? have a great Fathers day!
Just found your blog yesterday, will def. be back to check it out more often :)! LOVE the treats you have up for grabs :)! A question eh? Ok, how do you keep all your cardstock organized??
I love your blog! You offer so much inspiration!!! What percentage of your purchases do you think you really use? You seem to have so many stamps and embellishments. How do you use them all. I buy stamps and use them once or twice; I buy DP paper and it sits on the shelf.
wow, your artwork is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. My question is where do you look for inspiration. I know it is all around us, but when you are in a slump, what do you do to come out of it.
I’ve always enjoyed your blog and it’s on my list of blogs that I check daily thanks to my reader. My question is: What adhesive do you use most often when making cards?
Off to subscribe. Thanks for a chance to win some great prizes.
What is the newest technique you have learned and have you used it on a project? Thanks for the giveaway!
WOW!!! That is some pretty awesome and generous gifts!!! I’ve been subscribed for a couple of weeks so I hope my chances are good!!! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful card ideas! Your such an inspiration.
Fingers crossed that I win!!
Man, it is understandable why you have had so many hits!! Your work AND photography are truly absolutely beautiful and inspiring!! When I read the question I thought, hmm..what could I ask her, but after perusing your site I definetly need to know these two questions: What kind of camera do you use and especially what is your favorite lens?
Hugs,
Jenny in Maine
MY BLog: http://www.ThisEveryDayLife.com
Thanks for the chance to win some treats! I have been and admirer of your work in the SCS gallery and now on your blog!
My question is this: do you ever get in a rut and feel like you’ve lost your mojo? If so, what do you do to get the creative juices flowing again?
I love your site, I have it delivered to my inbox with each new post. It is a great site to get re-inspired when you just can’t the ink and papr to work together for you.
Thanks for sharing your talenst
I have been a subscriber for a while I love your work, you inspire me so much. I was wondering what your favorite “style” is right now when it comes to stamp design, and your favorite colors to work with. Also what type of cards do you find you need the most? Thanks, Suzy
Trudee,
Congrats on being a Papertrey Guest Stamper winner! I truly loved the ladybug turned flower card! Oh, I am also a subscriber!
I have many questions but will leave it at this…..
When you create a card, do you have something in mind at the time or do you just let it evolve and before you know it you have a card? In other words, by letting it evolve are you moved by color, a stamp, a piece of ribbon, a particular person the card is going to, a sketch challange, etc….what seems to be the number one factor when creating your cards?
You’re too kind Trudee…..someone is going to be one lucky winner!
Hugs from VA,
Eileen
I love your blog. I read it every day. My question is which do you like the new “IN Colors” or the past “In Colors” best?
oh WOW! what great treats! I love your stamp art and receive your updates via email and always go look right away! But 43 people beat me today! WOW!
lol I appreciate that you use stamps from a variety of companies. Do you tend to like a certain artist or do you just like pretty much everything? Have you noticed that your likes/dislikes change now and then? oops…two questions! Thanks again for sharing all your creations!
Pam
Trudee, I have been subscribing to your blog for a while. I love the vibrancy and creativity of your art. You have always inspired me since I saw your work as a “Dirty Girl.” Now, on to my question…do you have a favorite stamp company and why?
Thanks for sharing your art with all of us!
Adair
Hi Trudee,
I have wondered what, other than a share of our Amazon purchases or donations thru PayPal during the holiday season, have you or others from the dirty pile received over at SCS from its members? i noticed the sticky in the DD section about “thanking” the DDs and have just wondered what others may have done.
Hi Trudee!
Your work is simply amazing!
I am a subscriber
And what awesome blog candy…gosh!
Thanks so much for the chance to win!
My question is:
How in the world do you tie a flat knot if you’re left handed?
It takes me longer to tie the ribbon than it does to make the card
What color stamp pad do you find yourself using most?
I love your stuff!! Your blog, your cards, your Trudee’s treats!
Your work is so amazing! I’m so inspired from your stuff!
Anyway, my question is: What is your favorite stamp company, other than SU!, and why?
Your blog goodies are awesome! I would like to know if you are a Demo for Stampin Up and do they give you “freethings” for being a Demo? I guess I want to know how the bloggers can offer give aways without going in the hole? You all offer so many cool blog candies. How can you do this?
What first drew you to stamping?
T
Hi Trudee! I subscribe to your blog thru Feedburner. You were the first blog I subscribed to. I love your fresh ideas! Congrats on your contest win @ PaperTrey. Love It! My Questioon to you is how do you find the time to stamp/blog/inspire/create. I find that I can’t stop looking at other creative works of art..and lose the time to stamp! ARGH! Your stuff is awesome! TFS!
You make the most amazing cards! I would like to know how much time you spend making a card. And I thank you for all the inspiration I have received from you!!!
Love reading your blog and congrats on the milestone!
Here’s my question: What are your three stamping items (tool, or supply) that you could not do without?
Mine are my Adirondack reinkers (for rich, vibrant watercoloring), Niji waterbrush and my signature stamp to sign all my cards on the back. Thanks for offering the wonderful prizes!
Hi Trudee -
I love your blog and check it regularly. How do you schedule your stamping time?
Thanks!!!
What types of adhesives do you use most? Thanks for taking the time to share with us in your blog!
I guess it’s a good thing I subscribed the first time I found your blog, huh?
I love your blog and read every update. Thank you for the time you put into it.
I was just wondering…..what time of day do you find most conducive to creative inspiration?
Karen

Hi Trudee,
Love your blog! Great contest.
My question is this: Have you ever had an embarassing stamping incident?
Love your papertrey little lady tulips…what inspires you the most?
This is perhaps too straightforward, but I’m always perplexed by this one:
I receive SO much from your blog. You and other talented artists spend countless hours on their blogs, not to mention $. I’m sure its somewhat self-gratifying, but there’s no way you can ever receive in return as much as you give. So…bluntly, why? The hours, the stress, the candy….let’s face it, we should be showering YOU with candy for all the information you share with us. What have YOU learned from this blog?
Hi Trudee,
Congrats on reaching 50,00 hits on your blog which is great, inspirational and I look forward to reading it everyday. My question is, what is your favorite
item to use on your cards..i.e., watercoloring, sewing, ,punches, etc. Can’t wait till Tues for the drawing. I would love it if you picked me. I do subscribe so I guess 2 chances. Barb
You are an amazing stamper! I check your blog daily and am always inspired by your work. Do you get your inspiration from anything in particular?
I love your work & read your blog daily. What does it mean to subscribe?
Congratulations on reaching the 50,000 mark……that’s just great!
My question is…….which type of stamps do you prefer??? Rubber, acrylic…….???
If you do sell your cards, how do you price them? TFS!
What a wonderful blog! Do you keep a notebook or something of stuff for inspiration?
Claudia F.
Trudee ~ I have been a subscriber to your blog for quite awhile . I absolutely love your style and look forward to your new entries each day. My question is: How do you do all of the “challenges” that your stamping buddies have going on and also get in other stamping that you need to do? Congratulations on being chosen as guest stamper for Paper Trey. They definitely chose wisely…you rock, girl!! Thanks for offering such awesome Trudee Treats!
These are the BESTEST Trudee treats! I get email notifications so I’m guessing that means I am subscribed!!? I love your blog!!
Thanks for a great place to get inspired and have fun! Enjoy your day, Trudee!
Elaine
I forgot my question…What is your favorite kind of project or technique?
I subscribe through Google Reader….my question is what gets your creative juices flowing?
I’m a subscriber, too! =)
What is your newest and favourite technique? Do you sell your cards or creations? ie how do you sustain your hobby/addictions? Hehehe.
Cris
Love you creativity Trudee! I am an official stalker, and am now subcribed via email! ;o)
Here’s my question:
Have you turned your stamping talent into a career or do you do it simply for pleasure, and do you have a separate career?
Thanks!
Is the photo in your banner an actual photo that is special to you? I can drive about a half hour away and see actual trails like that. I might be freaked out by the hill if I had to drive it tho. I can walk and run up and down hills but am terrified of driving them! I think it relates to being with my dad once and his brakes went out on a hill that ended in a river. He steered into a curb to slow us down.
Anyways-really like your banner.
Where do you get your inspiration…do you just sit down and start creating, do you keep a journal with sketches and color combinations, or do you see something and just have to do it your way??? OK that was more than one question, but it all goes together.
I love your work and congrats!!! Your Little lady card was just too cute and clever!
My question for you is:what technique do you find to be the most challenging?
I am not a subscriber but a daily visitor, you’re in my Favorites list! Which embellishment is your favorite? I get inspired looking at your great work! It makes me think I need to quit cleaning my house and get busy and creative!!!
Congrats on reaching 50,000! And that paper is gorgeous! Here’s my ? –
What’s your favorite organizational tool?
Congrats on reaching the 50,000 mark. I love the inspiration I find here all the time and thank you for sharing with us. Being able to learn from you and a few others in particular has really helped me grow in my card making. I find though that it still takes me a long time to do 1 card. Do you have any suggestions for getting quicker at it?
Thanks for the chance to win these wonderful treats.
Congratulations on your hits! Great blog candy. What is your fav. technique? And how do you come up with whatever you wanna do?
As soon as I found out that you had a blog, I subscribed! I have LOVED your work on SCS! I want to know when you started stamping and how you learned of SCS. I think my lead was from Stampin’ Discuss and the first person I “recognized” was JanTink.
Wow…lots of fun treats! Love your blog, Trudee.
I love your blog, and am so inspired by your beautiful creations!!! I have a question…do you live in the city, or the country? and which so you prefer?
Thanks for all the wonderful posts!!!
Great blog - thanks for sharing all of your fantastic work. QUESTION: How do you organize your leftover scraps of paper - specifically patterned? Sometimes I have so much patterned scrap paper it takes forever for me to sift through to find anything, so I just go to a new piece.
When your creativity is just not there, where do you pull from to get it back?
Kandi

Hi Trudee,
I am new to stamping and new to blogs and feeds-the works I suppose. I am most confused about the kind of ink to use on my projects. There is pigment ink, versamark, distress ink etc. Which is the best ink to use on a typical paper project?

Denise
Love your blog & your cards, you have obviously been blessed with true artistic talent. Which leads me to the question…What is the biggest mistake that you see other creators make which might help them to improve?
Hi Trudee! Love your blog - I love checking my email every day and seeing what new things you have created! It is a great source of inspiration!
Ok - here is my ? - From one NC resident to another - what is your favorite thing about NC?

Keep up the fabulous work and thanks for keeping us all inspired!
Hi Trudee,
Being a dog lover (and a pet sitter!!) myself, I have to ask what kind of dogs to you have and what are their ages? I have a great dane, Lucy who is 8 yrs old and a yorkie (only 5 lbs!) named Petey who is 11 yrs old and shares my birthday. WE had to put our beloved Harley down last Dec as he got cancer in his hip joint. He was a rottie that was an acception to the rule! He was great and I sure do miss him bunches!
Thanks for sharing all your great creativity! LOVE it, it’s very inspiring.
Bobbie
Hi Trudee!
Love your work and your blog. I read it all the time. My question is what is your design process? Do you start with the stamp or a color?
Congrats on the Guest Stamper!
Your cards are always so perfect - please tell me what you use to get your embellishments (like rhinestones) to stick. Mine often fall off during shipping. Thanks for your help.
Congrats on all the hits!! Thanks for the chance to win this amazing blog candy! I’ve been struggling with the decision to buy, or not to buy, a Cuttlebug. So my question is…to you find that you use it enough to justify the $$?
Love your blog!
Brenda H.
you certainly are rocking papertrey!! awesome work there missy! my question is what do you do when you are in a funk and just don’t want to do anything paper related. How do you break out of it??
Hi Trudee! Love your work! My question is not all that exciting, but which new In Color is your favorite?
Wow what amazing treats, you’re so generous!
My question is - how do you keep your sewing on your cards so straight and perfect - is it just practice practice practice or do you sew real slow?
Fun! What is your best tip or tips for keeping your stamping space organized? What are some of your best finds for keeping all the goodies we “need” organized?
Thanks!
:0) Kamie
Trudee,
What wonderful treats you are tempting us with!!!!!
I found you like on day 2 or 3 and can’t ever wait to get home to check my eye candy from you in my mailbox. I swear, you are about the only thing I open my mailbox for - everything else just sits there or gets deleted without me reading it.
I love to see your inspiration. Your cards are so professional looking.
I have been looking to find this stickles pen you have been using and I don’t find that in Michaels or in mags or even online in some places. It’s a pen, right? I’d love to know where I could get my hands on one.
Love ya girl!
Hi! I was wondering if you ever get “stamper’s block” and can’t design, and if so, how do you get over it?
Love your blog, Check in often. My question is what is your favorite tool and what is your least favorite??
I am amazed at all of the ideas and creations you develop. Beautiful work. Love looking at them every day. Question: What type of sewing machine do you use to stitch on your cardstock?
I signed up to your blog the first time I visited it. You are a super talented lady. I am in awe of all the wonderful cards you create. I’ve just started stamping and am learning quite a bit from your blogs..

Mine isn’t!
Hi Trudee;
Love your card on Papertrey’s site…cute tulips!!! My question is; Do you stamp standing or sitting? I find I barely sit when I stamp…I’m a stander!

Tinla
Love your blog! Thanks for sharing all your ideas with us and CONGRATS on your hits! My question to you is what is your favorite tool?
Congrats on your win on Papertrey. Is there any embellishment that you don’t like? I don’t like fibers, I never get them to look good and make many cards I see too gawdy. Are there any that you avoid?
[…] is the drawing of Trudee Treats! Scroll down to enter if you haven’t already, or CLICK HERE! I’ll be drawing two names tonight at 9:30pm […]
Love your cards and your blog. My question is “do you subscribe to many stamping magazines? If so, which ones? ” Thanks.
Hi, Where do you get your inspiration?
Well, maybe I will be last to comment…yeesh! I didn’t read through the 133 posts before me to ensure I didn’t replicate my question! My question is: now that you are blogging, do you spend more time reading blogs or surfing SCS?
Great blog - and my question is what kind of set up do you have to photograph your projects? (camera, lens, background, etc)
Thanks!
So incredibly generous with the goodies. Love your creations and always look forward to seeing your work.
just subscribed so I don’t miss anything!
What’s your favorite stamping snack??

Thanks for all of your hardwork!!
-Steph
I’m subscribed by email & by your RSS feed - I guess I’m a double subscriber! Ha! My question is: What color of cardstock do you find yourself running out of the most?
what do you think has been the biggest change to your style since you started card making?
Trudee,
Love your blog and love that simple card. I was pleased to hear that you take an hour to complete a card as I work so slowly when I make cards that sometimes I worry I’m perpetually “creatively challenged.” Here’s my question…how much time do you spend stamping every day?

what is your favorite stamp and why?
Hi Trudee: I’m entirely addicted to your blog and get great inspiration from your artwork. Your cards even inspired me to pull out my sewing machine for the first time since 1982! And it still works.
My question is the same as Jackie W’s: do you cover up your machine stitching on the underside of your work, or let the stitching show?

I like your blog and the creations you make. Where do you get your inspiration from? Is there an idea first, or do you just start and the ideas come while you are working on the cards?
Oops. Can you delete my previous post? Here’s my question: Do you like rubber mounted or acrylic stamps best?
Hi Trudee! I have to say I LOVE your site but most of all I love your cards! I have always wondered when creating a card do you start with a stamp set, and then pick a color combo/ paper or do you begin some other way. What is your creative process? I’m sure it’s not always the same but do you find that 99% of the time it flows one way? Thanks,
Angie W
Thank you so much for all the work you put into your wonderful bog!! My question: How many hours a week do you spend stamping?
congrats on being the star stamper! I love your blog. Keep up the gorgeous work!!!
Love your site!
What’s your favorite papertrey set and why????
Great website!
On average how much preparation do you do? or do you just pick up a stamp set and start stamping and create a work of art?
Thanks!
