LOL! Yep, that’s right, today is my birthday!! I know there’s lots of people that don’t like to celebrate their birthday….
Well I am not one of those people!!! LOL!!!!!! 
So, I’d like to turn the tables and give YOU a gift!! My birthday Trudee Treats include:

For my birthday, I always take it off from work. I like to indulge in retail therapy (after all, I always pick the perfect gift for myself) and spend time with loved ones and friends. My girlfriends and I typically will always treat the other to lunch and a movie (as its rare these days that we get to spend time with one another).

by driving a convertible corvette! Actually, on my 40th, the hubster rented a white, convertible corvette for me to cruise around in for the WHOLE weekend! What a blast! I definitely felt like I was 20, which was the whole purpose!!! Who wants to feel 40? Happy birthday!!!!!

Wishing you the happiest of Birthdays! I love to spend the day lounging around taking it easy. My hubby comes home early from work and we go out and indulge ourselves in a special meal at a restaurant.

Happy Birthday, Trudee! On birthdays at our house, the person with the birthday gets to choose any dessert to have for their party. A couple years ago I asked for chocolate souffles and my husband made it happen!!! I’m not sure what was better … the chocolate souffles, themselves (they were fantastic!), or the look on my mother-in-law’s face when she realized what her son had done!
Happy Birthday! I have to agree with you…it’s better to celebrate a birthday than mourn it! I enjoy going out with my family…just my husband and two children. Most of the time we’ll go out to eat at my restuarant of choice, then we’ll go to the movies together.

My favorite way to celebrate is to go over to my dad’s house with my husband and kids. We all have dinner and dessert there, homemade and very elegant. And, of course, the presents. Last December we went to the Mall of America and all the wonderful stamping/scrapbooking stores all around the area! It doesn’t seem like much, but my husband HATES shopping, much less stamp/scrapbooking shopping. He patiently sits in the car while I take my time going through all the stores! What a guy! What a birthday gift!

Happy Birthday Trudee! My favorite way to spend my birthday is by being surrounded by my hubby and kids, and a huge box of SU supplies that my husband always gets me.
I love my birthday and love it when someone else gets me a cake. Before I married my new husband, my ex would never do anything for my birthday, but the kids always did, in fact when they were littler and couldn’t bake, they use to make me my favorite sandwich (peanut butter and nutella) and stick a candle in it. What sweet memories. My new husband goes all out for birthdays and makes sure that you have all kinds of fun stuff for it! I love it! BTW, the kids still make me my sandwich as a reminder of thier love for me!

We generally do a really nice grown up dinner together. No kiddos allowed
My fave way to celebrate my birthday is with my Allan, on a deserted beach so I can bare my big butt (well, into a bathing suit anyway) and drink in the sun and sea.

Happy Birthday Trudee! My birthday is Friday. Two years ago I said I wanted a day to myself to stamp-no phone, laundry, dishes, cooking etc. DH and the boys were good about letting me stay in my room to do just that and again last year. That is what I am asking for this year too. Ü
My birthday always falls right around the first day of school, which is a happy day for all moms, so it’s especially happy for me! When I worked nights, it was awesome, I’d take the girls to school and have the whole day to myself. But now that I work days, it’s just another day at the office for me. And we have to bring our own birthday treats. That was one of the first things they asked me when I was hired, was “When’s your birthday?” Weird. So that’s what I do–go to the bakery and bring myself cookies!

I like to celebrate my birthday with my husband and children. My husband really goes all out on my birthday and makes me feel extra special. My kids get so excited making me breakfast in bed. They bring it up to my room and then start to ask, “Mom? Can I try some?” Pretty soon there’s no breakfast left and I still haven’t eaten.
And I love their little card stock, home made cards. Birthdays are AWESOME!

Yay! Happy Birthday!!! I love to celebrate my birthday too. It usually involves taking myself and daughter out for lunch and then some sort of shopping spree. My husband isn’t big on celebrations (I am lucky if I get “happy birthday” ) so I take it upon myself to celebrate in a way that makes me happy. A couple years ago I threw myself a big 30th birthday party with my friends. It was great!

I loved birthdays as a kid! presents, parties, drop the clothes pin in the bottle, pin the tail on the donkey, etc…I have three grown and married daughters and we’re pretty good about getting together and having dinners together for birthdays. That is really special - I enjoy the time with family more than presents, now that I’m older. I usually buy myself something stamping related for my hubby to give me!
Happy Birthday! My favorite thing to do is to eat shrimp scampi and drink red wine. My husband is an amazing cook, but he sucks at gift giving. So every year he makes me my favorite meal on my birthday! It’s sooooo yummy.

Happy Birthday! I think the most fun I had on a birthday was a few years ago. I decided that we should do something the kids would enjoy! So for MY birthday we went to Chuck E. Cheese, got a pizza and a ton of tokens! The kids had a great time and if they’re happy, I’m happy!

I love to cook, so I usually try out a new recipe on the family that comes to celebrate. I can always count on them to give me their honest opinion. If it’s good, the recipe stays. If not, straight into the garbage. Luckily, no complaints yet.

My favorite way to spend my birthday is to have a “me” day. Breakfast or lunch where I want, shopping where I want, dinner where I want, and a movie of my choice. When its hubbys birthday, does the same.

My birthday is July 26 and when we lived on the west coast the Sacramento rubber stamp convention was always on my birthday or the Saturday following! So I would drive over with a friend and I would spend my birthday money!
I celebrate my birthday with my family. My brother’s birthday is 2 days after mine, so we usually try to celebrate together on the day in between. We share a cake (we don’t need 2 big cakes!) and open presents and enjoy the day together with family.

I have always celebrated my birthday by going out to my favorite place to eat with my family and then back to the house for some cake, or flan that my mother bakes. Since my birthday is Dec.15 it runs right in the middle of the Christmas program week and three different programs so I am usually too beat to do anything else. I am always thrilled when it snows on my birthday, that has always been my favorite part about having a December birthday.
For my birthday, I celebrate by not doing a speck of work. I pick up a special treat ( ie this year it will be the new Harry Potter which i will proceed to read all day), and enjoy myself indulging in something fun!

I’m thinkin’ the best way to spend my birthday would be on the beach - about 80 degree weather - sunny with no clouds - a good book (probably Harry Potter!) - maybe a strawberry daquiri! - LOVE IT! Isn’t it crazy how life is that when you’re younger all you want to do is be around friends/people and after kids all you want is alone time!?
