Spellbinders Gift Tags
These little gift tags are headed to Chicago for CHA. I created them using a large Spellbinders oval scalloped die, and then a smaller embossed oval basic die. I folded a rectangle card, using this Basic Grey Fruitcake double sided paper. Then ran it through my Wizard with the scalloped edge hanging slightly off the left side. Next, I made 2 embossed basic ovals: one for the front, and one for the inside, seen here:
The Lockhart packages were colored with various Copic markers , then I sponged around the egde with a mixture of cranberry, ruby and artichoke inks. Stickles were added for some shimmer
Sentiment is hand lettered.
I just realized I forgot to ground the image with some shadowing, so I’ll be doing that before I send these off!
As a final touch, I wrapped some gold cord around the side fold, and knotted. I often like to fray the ends of the gold cord when I use it. Just a little bit more texture for some interest.
These are so simple, and you could crank a dozen of these out in no time flat!
Next, I’ll be sharing some fun goodies with more shrink plastic!
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Adorable tags, T — great image and beautiful paper! Great idea, too.

These are just precious! I LOVE how you finished the inside!
Love the scalloped oval card base! These spellbinder dies are proving themselves to be so versatile. If you had to choose between the oval, square, and rectangle set, which would you choose first? I purchased the petite scalloped circle complete set, and want to get one more (have to take baby steps), but I’m having a hard time picking (and you’re not making it easy to pick either chickie)!
