Got Dirt?
*Giggle* Isn’t this sentiment from Lockhart Stamp Co. *perfect* with Veggiebella?
She looks like she knows some really good dirt!! bwahahahahaha!!!
I got a couple more Bellas from Em, so stay tuned to see more of these sassy gals! Thanks, Em!!
Inspiration for this card came from this darling embossed paper from Heidi Grace. I have a lot of her paper–it’s really fun, and just plain gorgeous!! Sometimes it’s pricey, so I usually wait till AC Moore has it 40% off, then I load up! LOL!
I stamped Bella on Papertrey white with Brilliance graphite black, then ran it through my Wizard with a scalloped rectangle Spellbinders Nestabilities die. After I cut it, I embossed it, then layered it on a piece of green galore. Bella is colored with my Copic markers, and there’s little highlights of stickles on the flowers, her shoes, strawberries, and the bows to her hair and hat. I also added a few doodles to ground her a bit.
I stitched a pixie pink panel to the patterned paper, stamped the sentiment, then layered that on to the pumpkin pie card base. Card measures 5×5. To finish off this fun card, I added 2 white eyelets with my Cropadile, then tied some coordinating pink and orange gingham.
My mail lady didn’t bring my goodies yesterday, so I am hoping for today!! And trust me…YOU are hoping she shows me some love, too! LOL!!
Thanks for stopping by! If ya know any “good dirt”, feel free to share! LOL! ![]()

adorable! It makes me want to get out my Bellas and color! But I don’t have Copics, so alas, I think they will be staying right where they are for now. And regarding those Nestabilities….you are bad, bad, bad girl, cuz everytime you use them I need them more and more. Fabulous card today!

So glad to have found you again, Trudee. The last I heard you comment was that you weren’t interested in writing a blog. So grateful that you obviously changed your mind. Now that I know where you are, I can once again admire your awesome talent. Don’t know how you work full time and still make such beautiful cards. Looking forward to being a regular visitor to your new site. By the way, Bella’s looking awfully spiffy to be going gardening. I guess I’m gonna have to hop on the bella bandwagon.
