The Bird of Happiness…
Oh my GAWD, can I tell you how much I LOVE this Wordsworth set?! It’s a new release and it’s called “It’s Your Day”. Check it out HERE!
Supplies used for this card are as follows: Shake It Up patterned paper, hydrangea notecard, It’s Your Day stamp set (All from Rubber Soul/Wordsworth), wasabi cardstock, papertrey white, Primas, Making Memories green glitter brad, AMuse bling, ancient page coal black ink, and the following colorbox fluid chalk inks: chestnut roan, warm red, yellow citrus. I also custom colored my white grosgrain with my Copic markers B23, and BV02. I did a mini tutorial for that about a month or so ago. If you missed it, check it out HERE.
It’s really a pretty simple card, and most is self explanatory. I stamped the owl on a scrap of cardstock, then cut him out. I colored in his beak with my Copic Y17, and added red A Muse bling to his eyes for some sparkle. He is popped up in the tree on dimensionals.
I am pretty sure you will be seeing this owl again in different colors, because I think he is the cutest thing!! LOL!!
A little zig-zag stitching adds some fun. I mounted the focal image slightly off center to the lower right, and added the multi-layered Primas to the top left.
Not too much blah, blah, blah with this one, LOL! Hope you have a fabulous day!! And thanks for stopping by!! ![]()
