A Day on the Estate

Published by trudee at 6:04 pm under Just chattin'

Today was a beautiful day, spent on the Biltmore Estate with good friends. The weather was amazing, the food was delicious, and time with friends was priceless :)

Here’s several photos from the day. As you can see, I was mesmerized by the flowers. Be sure to click on them to see them full size!

SEEING YOUR BREATHTAKING PHOTOS TAKES ME RIGHT BACK TO THE ESTATE. WE VISITED IN 2004 AND I COULD GO BACK EVERY YEAR. I WANTED TO SIT OUT ON THE LOGGIA FOREVER. AMAZING PLACE!

GREAT photos of the flowers–such sharpness in your pics too– just wondering… what kind of camera do you use?
Love the Biltmore too–has been several years since I’ve been there…it is just grand.

Love, love, love Biltmore! Growing up in E. Tenn., it was quite near to us and we visited often. Hubby and I had to take a quick honeymoon and decide to stay at the Grove Park and spent a day a Biltmore, so it has special meaning for us! My sister and her family, as well as, my mother live in a little town not very far from Asheville called Brevard so I am envious that you were so close to them today! Love your photos! What crisp, vibrant colors they display!
