Right now I am loving the candles with stamped tissue paper. I also like small mini scrapbooks.
Congratulations!!!! Your site is awesome. You have so many creative ideas. I’m not much of a cardmaker but I like to browse sites and see the amazing talent!!!
I like anything altered!!! I have altered everything from a tin Barn star to department store gift cards. I also like to make mini books.
Keep the inspiration coming
Congrats, Trudee! I love visiting your blog to see your beautiful work. My favorite altered item at the moment is notebooks. Everyone loves them - adults and kids alike! It always makes me smile when I pull out my pretty covered notebook to keep up with my lists and to-do’s.
I have been following your blog for several months now. Your work is a beautiful inspiration to me. I made a mini coaster album this weekend that was so much fun that I am going to make several more hopefully for Christmas. I am generally a card crafter, but this project has been a lot of fun. Take care and God bless . . . Elizabeth S.
Congratulations on such a fantastic (and well-deserved) milestone! And thanks for sharing such fantastic Trudee Treats! My favorite non-card projects are those that involve food…for gifts, of course!
Congrats on 7 months and 175K. Thanks for the daily dose of new ideas. In addition to cards, my girls and I stamp tiles to use as coasters. They make great teachers gifts.
WOW! 175K hits … that is fantastic! Excellent treats available too. My favorite things to make are mini books - I love using the cardboard cd folders and making them into little scrapbooks. I never fill them with pictures or things, but I love making them and giving them as little gifts.
What an awesome prize! I love to make childrens goodie bags. I also love to sew clothing articles. I hope I win because it would be my first time. Thanks for thr oppertunity.
I absolutely love to make little boxes, I am always saving different boxes that I buy stuff in and taking them apart for a new pattern to try. So quick and easy. Love all that gorgeous candy, Oh my I would love to get my hands on that!!! Thanks for sharing.
This is above and beyond Trudy Treats! My favorite non-card project would be a gift set of some sort. It seems that I am always needing a small gift for someone. I think when you take the time to hand make something it means a little more to the receiver knowing the time, thought and personalization you put into their gift. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!
Pat
My favorite project is with coasters. You can do so much with them. From making
a flip book ie..calender to everyday coasters. And they are easy to cover! Another
project is to decorate paper bags.
Jannette D.
Oh my gosh, this is the BEST blog candy ever!!! I have been eyeing the Figgy Pudding paper and would love to have it as well as that little nugget box which I have also had my eye on. Anyhow, right now I am stamping tiles to make into coasters. My daughter wants to give away about 5 sets to my grandsons teachers, etc. and I told her this would be perfect. They are fun to do and look so professional when completed.
Thank you so very much for giving me hope to win this.
Cheryl Sims
WOW! What amazing blog candy! Lately I have been stuck on making Squash book with coasters. I love giving them as gifts. We did a walk-a-thon in honor of my sister for CF and I gave her one to journal and add pictures to. I also gave one to a good friend who just had a baby so she could have a little brag book with pictures to carry around. I love altering, too.
Congrats on the milestone! I’ve enjoyed seeing the variety of projects and styles you create! My personal favorite type of non card item is notebooks. Right now, I’m a big fan of the Target plain notebooks that have different colors of bindings. I get a kick out of finding patterned paper and ribbon to match. So easy!
Trudee! Oh My Gosh! That is the BEST blog candy evahhh!!! I am seriously salivating! LOL! Let’s see… My favorite project would probably be something I could use for a teacher’s present… or an ensemble that I could use to give anyone as a gift.
Wow - that’s a great prize! My favorite non-card project would be candles. Thanks for being so generous!
Trudee - Oh wow! Congrats on the hits and the milestones. Very well deserved, your blog is so wonderful and truly an inspiration! My non-card favorites are things that will hold a gift. Gift card holder, tins, cans, etc. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheryl
What a fabulouse awesome fantastic amazing prize! Congratulations on your achievement.
My favorite thing would be calendars, they are the most useful thing, I really like the coaster calendars the best.

Congratulations to you and thanks for all the daily inspiration! My favorite is mini albums (though I love boxes too!) So hard to pick just one thing!
Congratulations.. What an awesome accomplishment.. My favorite is my 5×7 calendars.. When you make 12 at a time their a lot of hard work.. But well worth the effort..
Wow….your giveaway is awesome. I love to make cards but am not a very crafty person….God must of left that gene out when he made me. I have covered and decorated the small composition books and inserted pretty paper in the pen and have also made bookmarks and had them laminated. Your blog gives me inspiration on my cards. Congratulations to you!
Congrats Trudee! The numbers speak for themselves…..your blog is inspiring! Great work.
I think my favorite paper craft has to be CARDS………I just love doing them. I always go back to making cards.
My favorite NON-card thing? Hmmmmmmmm…It would have to be gift containers; whether they be bags of some sort or altered tins.
I always love to try something new. I am just a crafty person…..I love it all.
Oh my!! These treats look delicious!! Congrats on having so many hits. Your blog is absolutely wonderful
As far as projects go…I’m still trying to master the cards. LOL My sister, however, made a set of beautiful coasters using her stamps. I would love to see some more of those. I think that would be a great Christmas gift for those hard to buy for people
My favorite would have to be books….starbooks, coaster books….I haven’t had much experience in either, have only made a couple, but would like to do more! Congratulations on all the hits on your blog! That is a great accomplishment! And what beautiful “Trudee Treats”! Your blog inspires me, I can’t wait for you to get another 175,000 hits!
Wow! Congrats on all those hits, your blog is always a great one to check out. I think my favorite would be either lunch boxes (love them!) or paint cans…I don’t think I could decide between the two, I love the results of both so much! Wishing you luck for 175,000 more!
Oooo, Treats! Thanks for the chance to win these gorgeous prizes! My favorite projects to make, other than cards, are boxes! I love to give gifts totally handmade, and boxes just finish off the entire package.
Congrats on your hits in a few short months! I enjoy sharing the cards I make and hearing the person’s comments when they realize I made it. I had so many I sent over 100 cards to the troops (through a magazine and I can’t remember which one). I also like the containers - what a fun way to give a gift! Of all the things I have made I think the coasters have been the most useful as I use them everyday.
My favorite project to alter is covering tins… TFS and all the enabling you do… Your blog is great.
wow - these treats are the BOMB! I’d love to win them! My favorite is making gift photo albums.
Thanks for the change to win!! My favorite non card item to do is name frames! I love making them - so fun!!
Hi Trudee! Wow, 175K hits…that is SO awesome. I am currently making “countdown to Christmas” calendars using my Dashing SU paper and cookie tins. They are looking marvelous if I do say so myself!!!!!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing your wonderful creations! Right now I am addicted to boxes and bags, I just can’t stop making them, and have no good reason to make them!
Amazing treats! I check daily and apparently many others do too! My favorite non-card project has to be any smaller type paper container that will hold a little treat. Boxes, pouches, bags…it doesn’t matter. I just love to make many and hand them out to family and friends. Congrats on reaching this milestone. Jenny
Hi Trudee- What a great giveaway!!! My favorite non-card project would have to be Christmas Ornaments- so much fun to make and so many people to give them to. I love having the kids help me make some for their teachers and grandparents- it turns out to be a fun family project.
I love your blog and all your wonderfully creative work- your cards are so beautiful.
Have a great day and congrats on your 175k hits!!!
What an amazing giveaway!! I definitely am a card girl, but lately I’ve really been enjoying making small framed pieces. Somehow it’s easier for me to use fancy embellishments if I know it’s going “up”
I’m loving the little albums made with coasters and bound with my Bind-It-All.
Congratulations Trudee! That is fantastic milestone and I just love checking in to your little craft corner. It’s so inspiring! My favorite thing right now is boxes of all kinds to put little handmade presents in. I make jewlery myself besides the cards and am always in need of little boxes to put them in :)! Thanks, Beatrice
I like all of the projects you mentioned…but probably my favorite is candles as part of a gift set. I just love the elegance of the stamped candles so much, and it truly is a simple project!!
Thanks for the chance at such awesome candy!!!
What a fun surprise! I love reading your blog everyday and looking at the details in your artwork. Your Copic Skills are amazing!
I really love to make frames right now. Be it decorating a frame that a photo will go in or making something to go into a frame. Being woman, I do reserve the right to change my mind as I tend to go in phases with favorite projects.
Congratulations Trudee! I love your blog and what amazing blog candy you are offering! My fave is anything that can be used as gifts - gift sets, coaster boxes, etc… Can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
Congratulations on hitting 175,000 on your blog. Yours is one of my favorites and I visit it every day. Your creations are so beautiful and inspirational.
I really enjoy gift sets. There’s just something about them that appeals to me. Thanks for the chance to win some really cool stuff. Holy cow! That’s some awesome blog candy!!!!
I love your blog - the candy is just icing on the cake! My favorite non-card thing to make is little boxes. They’re just so cute.
WOW, 175,000 that is awesome, Congratulations. My favorite project, other than cards, would be altering notebooks, you can customize them for the person and event, they are so much fun. Thanks for the opportunity to win such great blog candy.
Goodness Trudee! How generous you are!! My fave project (today, anyway) is making little notepads with my bind-it-all!! I used blank coasters for the outside, decorate the front one, cut some plain printer paper for the ‘notepad’ part, bind it and then add some ribbons on the coil!! Voila!! Cheap and easy for stocking stuffers!!!
175,000 Fantastic!!! The Trudee Treats are great too! My favorite non-card making project is altered frames. I love how you can personalize them for people.
Congrats on 175,000! I love matching gift sets and home decor. Currently, I’m also really liking all of the stamped Christmas ornaments. Thanks!
Oh wow, congrats to you! What amazing treats you are giving away! as for my favorite type of project, I would have to say that I love altering notebooks, they are like a more permanent card front that won’t get thrown away!
Your generosity is really overwhelming! Congratulations on all your hits! My favorite non-card project is mini-albums. They are similar to cards (in size) but not as overwhelming as a big scrapbook album, which I’d like to try, but always scares me!
I really enjoy checking in daily and seeing your creations and being inspired by your designs and color combos. I am scrapbooker at heart, so making cards has been a fun new treat (and quicker and easier to share!). I have started making totes with handles in a variety of sizes…some with coordinating cards for gift sets, others full of Halloween candy as RAKs for co-workers and clients who will come to the office on Halloween. I am thinking of making some as Christmas gift bags, too. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your creative talents!
What a great blog you have, I try to read it everyday (sometimes work gets in the way…lol…) Right now I am using chipboard alot and love to cover it with designer paper. I am making alot of calendars and address books for Christmas gifts for teachers and such.

Congrats on 75K!
My fav non-card projects are altered tins and scrapbooks
Congrats for hitting 175K! That’s awesome!
My favorite non-card projects is probably the Explosion box. It’s great, easy, and people are totally impressed by it.
Wow! What a huge success in 7 months - Congratulations! Your work is truly beautiful and sets the standard for CASE-ing pretty high
I recently found some great little wooden frames at IKEA that I can’t wait to alter. MOstly I’m a card maker, but I’m going to try something different with these. And I love the altered tins I’ve been seeing around on the blogs
Thanks for the chance at WONDERFUL candy!
right now i’m loving altering anything with chipboard! there’s something about the process of covering the chipboard and sanding it down that i find relaxing.
Woohoo! Congrats, Trudee! That’s awesome!
I made a Rolodex of “Favorites” at my LSS that I really like. Each tab is decorated and has space for your favorite “anything”. Right now I only have my favorite picture of my boys in there, but I’ll add to it soon.
I also made a ribbon box at my LSS. It’s decorated with Basic Grey paper (and buttons and bling!) and has four holes on each side to feed the ribbon through. The ribbon sits loosely in the box, but you can access it just by pulling it through the holes. It’s pretty nifty!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for the give-away!
I like making and decorating candy jars! Thanks for the fun opportunity Trudee!
Hugs,
Amy
I really enjoy reading your blog. My favorite non-card projects right now are stamping on candles using tissue paper, using laminate counter top samples to make gift tags for Christmas presents, stamping on tiles to make coaster and making 2-5-7-10 boxes and cutting out a piece in the front and replacing it with acetate that’s been stamped and embossed to make a window for the box.
I am really into nugget tins right now. I have 36 planned to make before Christmas. Of course, 20 of those will be with my students in my juvenile detention classroom. They are so excited to get to make these as gifts. I love making packaging, really cute packaging.
Wow, what rockin’ blog candy! My favorite non card items to make are photo albums…whether it be with my BIA, a photo explosion box, coaster frames, etc. I like to make them small enough to be carried in a pocket book or bag, makes for great gifts!
Wow! Those are great candy treats! My favorite non-card project is the stamped nuggets in the PTI hinged tins. They have such a wow factor!

Congratulations on the milestone. My favorite non-card project is baking…the more chocolate the better and I love to find fun ways to package up my treats and give them as gifts. Thanks for sharing your creations and for the generous blog candy.
Holy Cow, what yummy treats! I haven’t seen the Figgy Pudding paper in person yet but it sure does look scrumptious!
I would have to say that my favorite non card project would be to alter the lunch boxes. I’ve done several that turned out pretty cute. And the recipients really appreciated them too. Thanks for the opportunity to win some goodies.
Chris
I love altering frames. I like that you can customize each one for the recipient or for the photo you plan to use in it. Thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome prizes!
Hi Trudee, I’ve been following your blog from almost day one and love all the things that you do. I am so happy that you have teamed up with Ellen Hutson, Michelle Wooderson and Debbie Olson. My favorite type of non-card project is altering things. I love to alter DVD cases, coasters, you name it. Thanks for having a blg candy giveaway.
My favourite things to make other than cards… hmmm, that’s tough cuz I don’t do a lot. The big projects look so beautiful but I have a hard time making mine that beautiful!
But, I did really enjoy decorating rectangular CD Tins last Christmas…. I then used them to hold Gift Cards that we gave as Christmas Presents. I’m going to decorate some up now that I have more in my hands to use for birthday presents as well. They come together really quickly and can have a lot of punch in their design quite easily.
I also enjoy making little boxes out of chipboard coasters.
Thanks so much for celebrating your anniversary and hits with us!
WOW! That is a fabulous giveaway! I love everything you do Trudee! You work is amazing! Right now I am enjoying altering frames for Christmas gifts. They are so inexpensive and make great personalized gifts! Card boxes, like tins are great too, but I’ve never done one. Really anything you do would be great!
Congrats on such a huge milestone in your blogging “career”. I love, love, love checking out your site every day. You are such an inspiration to many of us with your vision of things! I have gleaned many ideas from watching you grow. My favorite non-card thing to do is to alter tins. I love it when they finally come together and I can sit back and say “ahhh”.
What a way to celebrate! I love to alter just about anything that will sit still LOL! If a project includes patterned paper and I can get some ribbon or bling into it, I’m a very happy girl!
Congrats Trudee on 175K and for 7 months of blogging. I love your blog and seeing what you create. I have to say one of my favorite things to create that is non-card related are little fruit cans with a little gift inside. I think they are fun to decorate and easy as well fit a cute little gift that is usually a wonderful suprise for the recipient.
Kim Howard
Wow Trudee - you are so generous! My favorite non-card item is mini albums. I love tag albums, coaster albums, etc. It seems like there is no end to the items that can be used to create mini albums - I think they make great gifts too!
Oh this is easy right now. I jst altered two small acrylic paint cans for my boys for Halloween and now I’m addicted. I did three more last night for my Godson and nieces. OMGosh these are fun, fun, fun. What fab prizes on a fab blog!!! I don’t know how you work full-time and turn out such beautiful, creative treasures!
Congrats on you anniversary and nearly 175,000 hits! You have a great blog! I don’t do a lot of altered things, but my favorite non-card item is the calendars I make every year for a few select family members and friends. That is what I have been working on for the past few weeks. Only one month to go! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your inspiration.
Wow! Way to go!!
My favorite non-card items are notebooks. I have always found myself collecting books, and now I just recover them to make them more fun!

That’s a lot of hits!
And I must say that’s the best blog candy offering EVER!

Congrats, Trudee!!! Your site is one of the best blogs around…you deserve a big round of applause *standing and clapping for you*!!!!
My fav. projects I would love to see more of, other than individual cards, would be maybe easily reproduceable sets of cards to give as gifts. I know Papertrey sells the acrylic boxes to package the sets but some ideas for sets would be great!!!
Keep up the great work!!!!!! THanks again,
~Lana B.~
lanastamps on SCS
Trudee, keep on stamping, please! I love seeing your beautiful artwork. I especially want to see some more TK artwork.
As for what I like to make that is not a card - right now I’m having such a blast stamping a bunch of labels and covering the Nuggets and placing those in the tins from PaperTreyink. It’s going to make some great Christmas gifts for my co-workers.
I also love stamping on chipboard coasters. I have made a bunch of Christmas ornaments with these as part of an ornament swap. I just have a thing for ornaments right now.
You know those spools that ribbon is wound on? Well, I had finished a roll of ribbon, and was about to toss the spool, when I stopped and looked at it. Hmmmmmmmm…… I can make an ornament with that! So I painted it with MM paint, cut out some circles to fit, stamped on them, glittered them up, and glued them on. I used some ribbon around the “spool” part, looped it, and tied it off. It’s the cutest ornament!!! Now I’m not throwing away any of my ribbon spools anymore.
Holly
What great goodies! I love visiting your site and have it in my favorites:) You do such beautiful work, theres no reason NOT to show it off!!! My favorite thing to alter is wooden boxes, any shape/size. I can’t seem to go in to a store and immediately think of what I can cover with pretty new paper:)
Dawn C.
Congrats on the fantastic blog and the amazing number of readers! My favorite non-card craft item is my Advent boxes. I use a 25-drawer tool chest, paint it up, and fill it! They’re great. If you’d like to see a pic, e-mail me…I don’t have any on my blog at the moment, but they’re a hit. And I’d love to win!
Wow Trudee, what a milestone. I check your beautiful blog everyday, though I admit to being more of a lurker than a commenter. You single-handedly enabled me into buying the sparkly Copics and they’re amazing! Congrats on your hits and OMG what a generous give-away!!
My favorite project is probably altering frames. I find that I can really involve my photography into these as well and they always end up so personal for the receiver. I have been known to make gift sets with everything coordinating and stamping on candles is always a favorite.
Oh my gosh! What AMAZING stuff you are giving us the chance to win. Thank you for that!!! As for my favorite item, I like to alter address books that I give to friends. Not only is it something they won’t throw away and they’ll use it a lot, but it’s a way for them to keep in touch with me!!!

My favorite thing to alter is coasters. I enjoy making them into little books, into stand-up frames and a jacob’s ladder is fun and a real WOW project too!
Congrats, Trudee!
Hmmm, my favorite thing to alter, I would have to say tins or containers of any sort! I was buying dishwasher soap like a mad woman when it was coming in the adorable little tins. Tins, crystal light containers, pringles cans, altoids cans, AOL cd tins, etc. And the other part of that fun is figuring out exactly what to hide inside!
I just love your blog, you create fantabulous cards and things!!! Thank you for the chance to win the wonderful art supplies you are offering. I would love to get my hands on all of those goodies!! I really like to make boxes and containers. I like to give handmade gifts from the outside to the inside. Thanks again for the chance to win.
WOW!! What awesome treats! My favorite type of non-card project is scrapbook pages. I love knowing that I’ve preserved even a tiny bit of my kids’ childhood and that maybe someday my great, great, great … (you get the picture) grandchildren will enjoy looking back at what our lives were like. I know I’d LOVE to have something like that from my grandparents. Thanks so much for your amazing inspiration and for taking the time to share it all with us.
Altered journals!!! Please do a class or tutorial on these, pretty please?!!! I need to know how ya’ll get the paper around those spirals!!!
BTW, great giveaway!
I love to make any kind of treat box. an altered tin or just a paper box is a great little gift, especially if it has sweets in it. everybody loves candy!
Congratulations on hitting such a giant milestone on your blog. Most awesome giveaway also. I really don’t have a favorite non-card project. I have a ton of ideas I want to try but haven’t actually tried any of them yet. I can’t seem to get past paper. You’d think that after 10 plus years of stamping I would have had the urge to do so.
WOW!!! What incredible blog candy!!! My favorite non-card project is to make small scrappy type books with pics of the kids, colorful paper, embellishments and funny comments!!! Generally it tells a story (short story) of an event or about for example-how similar all 3 of my kids smile or who they resemble and compare pics, or a baseball season or a dance recital or scaled down art projects with pics of them “covered” in paint. KWIM? Thank you for such a great blogging, your among the best of the best!!!!!!
Thanks so much for all of the inspiration on your blog! I have never left a comment before, but I am here looking at least once a day. Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome prize! My favorite thing to make right now is mini chipboard albums. They are so much fun and people love to receive them as gifts. Thanks again!
Excellent Blog candy!! Congrats on the 175000 hits! I love to make boxes with candies inside or make mini photo books. I also make gift sets of cards/stationery.
Thanks again for the opportunity to win this amazing blog candy!
I’m asking Santa for a Bind It All for Christmas because I love making little books. They can be used for so many occasions and situations, for memories, journaling, holiday ephemera, and much more. And they’re so much fun and really simple too.
Mary Puskar

Thanks for a chance to win!!!
175k?! That’s amazing! Congratulations Trudee!
My favorites are gifts. They can be singles or in sets - it doesn’t matter which because I love them both!
Congratulations on your milestone! I am enjoying playing with coasters lately. I have made the boxes with the SCS tutorial and also a mini-scrapbook and a cool card with pockets for a birthday gift. I bought lots of coasters so I need to keep using them. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
Congrats! I read your blog via google reader so that I don’t miss a post!
I’ve altered lots of tins and photo frames, but looking to try altering a canvas. If you know how, I’d love some tips.
WOW! Those are some amazing Trudee Treats. I’ve a huge fan of your blog and read it often. My favorite non-card projects are small scrapbooks. I just purchased a bind-it-all, so I’ll be trying my hand as some altered coasters soon. I’ve enjoyed the coasters projects I’ve seen in blogland.
Trudee,
Thanks for sharing your work with us. It is so inspirational. I’m really a cardmaker but my favorite non-cardmaking project right now is the file folder accordian albums. I also love to crochet and sew.
Janet
Holey moley! Those are *some* treats!
Congrats, Trudee, on your milestone. Your blog is one of my favorites.
My favorite non-card stamping item these days is little containers. I love to make little boxes and bags, often from templates I find at Splitcoast.
I love visiting your blog. Such great work. My noncard favorite right now would be alterable items found at craft sotres or even in my own home(pringles cans, peanut tins, etc). So much fun stuff to do with them!
I’ve been pretty stuck on cards lately and leaning new techniques from all of the great blogs I’ve been finding. I especially like the two Christmas ornaments that I found on your site (clear glass w/paper rolls and the pinecone). I plan on making them for my boyfriend’s mother and sister this year. I also can’t wait to get into the boxes, tins, and coasters, etc. I’m somewhat new to most of this and I’m a little overwhelmed with all of the different beautiful projects–I want to do them all right now, but I have to pace myself!
Congratulations on hitting 175,000, Trudee! That’s amazing (well, not really cuz your stuff is so awesome, but still…)!
My favorite type of altered item is the nugget tins. I think they are just the cutest thing EVER!!! I can’t wait to make some this Christmas!
Thanks for the chance to win your amazing blog candy.
Shelby
Hi~ I love your blog and all your art!
You inspire me everyday! I just bought copics and I try and practice to color and beautiful as you! Right now I love make Fabulous totes and matching cards using the one sheet wonder technique. Thanks for the chance at the awesome blog candy. I would love to get my hands on those fabulous copic glitter pens!
Woohooo… Congrats!….
I love to make alter bags for wraping gifts….
reflections:0)
Hi Trudee! My favourite things right now are gift wrap items - bags, boxes, and of course gift tags. Those little things just make the whole gift so much nicer! And of course with Christmas coming, I’ll have a chance to try lots of new different things. Thanks for all that you do!
How cool…175k!!!!! My favorite non-card project is any type of box or bag I can make myself. For instance, a genie bag or a box like we did for the TLC challenge this week. If I can make a container from paper, I am in heaven!!! LOL! Hugs-Jd
Congrats on your milestone! I am loving your blog and all the wonderful ideas.
My favorite thing to alter right now are coasters. I love using them to make mini-books and frames.
Penny
Wow! What a lot of comments! It shows you have lots of readers!
My favorite non card item would be books, either photo albums or small books used as note pads. I don’t really do much altering.
Congratulations! You’ve got one of the best blogs around, so keep up the great work. I’d have to say that my favorite non-card item would be altering frames. The possibilities are endless, and I can let my creative juices flow.
Take care - Regina Davis
Congrats Trudee!! I am always so enabled by you!!
I love seeing the stamped candles and tile coasters on SCS. I’m always so amazed everytime I see those! I would love to see your interpretation!!
Congratulations, Trudee! I love your blog and check it daily to see your latest creation! Lately, I’m having fun stamping gift sets to have on hand to wrap a gift in a hurry. I use plain gift bags and stamp them, along with matching stamped tissue paper and a gift card. Michelle Wooderson showed this on her blog a few months ago and I loved the idea.
WOW….175K hits, that is fantastic. Not a surprise, you are well loved. Your work is fantastic. I stalk, oops, visit your blog daily….have received much inspiration from your designs. I have become addicted to doing calendars and tiles. My poor family…they are just about tiled out…so now to do friends. The blog candy is fantastic…soooo many goodies, just in time for holiday cards. Take care and have a wonderful day.
Congrats! Well I like to do a lot of things, but all gift oriented and since our baby all having to do with pictures. Altered picture frames, flip albums with pictures of Izzy, I would love to try putting pictures on coasters and I am loving the pictures on the building blocks like a puzzle.
It’s a good life!
Terri E.
Wellllllll - lately my favorite NON-CARD item have been small journals and notebooks made with the Bind-it All…LOVE THEM - guess what everyone is getting for the holidays
Congrats on 175k!!!! What a load of treats you are going to share! I have to say my favorite non-card item is altering tins. All different shapes and sizes of tins.
Wow! This is some serious candy! I am addicted to making cards - not always the conventional card - maybe a tag in a decorative slider, etc. But other than cards I like doing several other projects almost as much as I do making cards - altering books, items, etc. But I think making little books ranks after cards.
Congratulations! My favorite thing to make besides cards are mini or pocket scrapbooks! They get used for much longer since I always want to look at the pictures!
WOW!! That is some FABULOUS candy!! Thanks for the chance!! My favorite non-card project at the moment is altered wood blocks. I love how many different sayings you can make & I think they make great gifts!!
Tins and notebooks are probably my favorite non-card items right now. I do have a bunch of coasters sitting in my craft room, and I would love to try my hand at frames, so those are on my “give it a try” altering list.
Thanks for the offer on the great blog candy!
Congrats on 7 months and 175K! Thanks for your great ideas that I turn to daily. I love to alter noebooks and tins. I am always looking for tins to give to teachers for gifts from my kids. Thank you for the goodies that you are giving away and for being so generous with your supplies and ideas!
Oh Trudee, you are awesome! Congrats on 175k. I can’t pass up that blog candy. Sooo many yummy goodies. My favourite non-card projects are probably gifts for others, especially cute and unique ways to package up holiday treats like cookies, candies, etc.
Holy Cowsamoly, that is some FABULOUS blog candy! How fun is that going to be for a lucky lady??!!
My favorite would have to be the little boxes…I especially like the “new” one that someone just posted, with the little window in it and a lid that opens up! It is TOO CUTE! Of course in my mind “boxes” includes other altered containers, like the metal tins, etc.!!
Your blog is wonderful, you are wonderful, I LOVE your creations! Have a great week!
Thanks for the blog candy! My favorite thing to do is give altered and/or hybrid gifts. Nothing says ‘love’ like a homemade gift!
Thanks for the blog candy! I mostly love to alter mini clipboards (look at my gallery on SCS and you will what I mean - tee hee). I also like to alter composition notebooks although I wish they were refillable so that the person you are giving it to can replace the paper and keep the cover - oh well! I’ve also altered paint cans which are fun to do.
Love your blog and often visit it for inspiration! Thank you so much!
Love your blog - just found it from Nichole Heady’s blog. Great blog candy too!
I’m into altering the nugget boxes these days. Great for all holidays!
Oh, you MUST pick my name!!! Mega cyber wishes here!
My favorite non-card project would have to be anything altered, but I guess specifically boxes and books. You rock, Girlie!
WOW!! 175K and just in 7 months, congratulations. My favorite non-card project would have to be anything altered..it’s just so much fun. Thanks for the chance =)
Congratulations in advance of reaching 175,000 hits - Wow!!! I think with your *fabulous* blog candy offer - it’ll come sooner than you think
Though I haven’t done this before, I’m pretty sure stamping on tiles will be my favorite as I’m planning on making several sets as Christmas gifts
Thanks for the chance to win so many wonderful things.
My favorite is to alter notebooks. With 2 DD’s, they make such easy gifts and are quick and easy, or I can put more effort into it.
What a great accomplishment. Your blog is so very inspiring. My favorite for the holidays will be tins, boxes, etc. to decorate and fill with “goodies”.
Congratulations!!! I have to admit a small part in this -I love your blog and check it everyday!!! Thanks for sharing. My favorite non-card craft is small boxes or treat bags. It’s so much fun to make someone’s day with even just a little surprise of a small treat box or bag with a few goodies in it. It’s not always affordable or practical to give real gifts frequently, but it’s always fun to surprise someone with a small “just because” or “thank-you” gift. Thanks again and PLEASE continue to share your ideas with us!!
Great blog! I’ve enjoyed seeing your work!
My favorite non-card project would be making gift-bags and treats for neighbors and friends.
Oh My!! And you wonder how your numbers are so high?!?! Awesome treats-thanks! My favorite non-card thingy is name frames. I’ve been commissioned to do several, but I really love doing them as gifts for my son’s friends or for baby gifts and birthdays. Especially if it’s a name that’s spelled differently from the norm, they seem to really appreciate it because they can’t find things with their name on it spelled like they spell it. Sure would be fun using some of those Trudee’s Treats in my frame designs!
Trudee, 175K hits, I’m not surprised. I visited you daily for inspiration. My favorite non-card projects are altered tins and journals. They make such great gifts. Congrats on this milestone.
I love any kind of altered gift items. Things you could give to teachers and neighbors that are fairly inexpensive but will wow them! The nugget tins are a cool one…now I just need a few more ideas! wink wink! Lisa K momoflandd@yahoo.com
wow! awesome goodies! thanks for the opportunity to share your celebration over your phenomenal blog hits!
my favorite non-card project (for right now) are wooden totes. i purchase them at a local craft store, cover them in acrylic paint, and then use dp and stamps to make the fronts *pop*. i have sold several of them at craft shows, and i’ve even poted some on scs and my blog. so much fun to make!
Yippee! 175,000 hits! That is such a huge number. I have been enjoying making treat sacks for teachers and friends lately. I like to bake, so I just put a couple little treats in the sacks and attach a little coordinating card to let them know they’re loved and appreciated.
Hi…. I love your website. I was surfing stampin up sites and came accross yours. I would have to say my favorite non card project is tile costers. I just made a few, to see how they would turn out and they look awesome! I am so excited to make some more.
Oh my word…what awesome goodies!!!
My favorite non-card project right now would be using my Bind-it-all making those awesome little address books that I saw on Beate’s (I think it was hers) blog. They are fun, useful, simple and quite inexpensive. Everyone I’ve given them to has loved them, including my pickier than ever - thinks mom’s scrapbooking/card making/papercrafting hobby is goofy - daughters.
I haven’t done too much altering, but I did really like the wooden birthday calendar I made. I stamped the design on the wood and coloured it with watercolour markers, then sprayed it with a matte sealer. Before I became a stamper I was a tole painter. Stamping is much quicker.
[…] it out… Trudee has some fabulous goodies on her blog, Follow Your Bliss. Make sure you take the time to check it […]
I love making unique gift holders…. boxes, special envelopes (using premade envelopes or other stuff and folding/cutting to make a “different” container), stuff you can make from card stock like the cones, gift bags, food gift bags…. I have never really done any altering. I guess I need to take a class to whet my appetite for that type of thing.
Congrats! You have an awesome blog! My favorite non-card projects are making / altering gift bags & boxes. I am obsessed with paper!!
Thanks for the inspiration!
OH MY WORD!! fabulous candy!!
Congrats on the 7 months blogging, and the enourmous amount of hits!! Way to go, obviously you’re doing something right!
Anyway, you asked about my favorite non card crafty project.
Well there are a few. I love to sew baby blankets, and embroider the babies name on it. I love to paint, and decorate mail boxes, and I love tomake anything Christmasy!
I hope that helps.
Amy
Congratulations!! I love your blog - one of the ones I visit every day. Thanks for the chance to win this amazing “bunch of treats”.
I like making coasters out of tiles.
I just made my first coaster book/journal using my Bind it All and I can see that will quickly become a favourite also.
WOW what exciting blog candy!! My fav non card project is mini albums… have a wonderful day and take care and blessings, dawn g
just wanted to say love your blog! and right now i love doing paper bag albums, altering frames.
wow Trudee, what wonderful blog candy! Congratulations on so many hits. I think my favorite non-card project is mini books. They are such fun to make, and I always learn something new when I do one.

Congrats on 175,000….holy moly. What FANTASTIC blog candy….Wowzers!
I guess i should say thanks for all the enabling!!! lol!!
You rock, girl! Your style is fantastic and I try to never miss a post.
My fav project besides a card is some type of altered bag—I use bags a lot for gift giving so it is fun to see neat and inventive ways to dress up a bland bag.
My favorite is some sort of handmade gift such as a box, frame, or food gift which I package and decorate with stamps. I usually make food gifts like chocolates, fudge, cookies, flavored popcorn, caramels or tea breads to share.
Congrats on your 175K in such a short time. I’m not surprised, cuz you are so creative, talented, and very inspiring. I just love all your stuff! Now for your sweet celebratation candy, all I can say is you TOTALLY ROCK! My mind is going crazy thinking of all the FUN stuff you could do with this loot. I love to alter everything that doesn’t move. Thanks so much for a chance at your sweet candy.
cmeyers@hughes.net
Congratulations on all your hits! You totally deserve it. And what fabulous gifts you are willing to share with us. Pick me please!!
My now-favorite non stamping thing to do is alter wooden letters. These are what I have been working on http://rincondelencanto.blogspot.com/2007/10/wood-love-this-challenge-wt136-scs.html
Wow!!! Congratulations, Trudee!! Your amazing creations keeping us coming back for more Ü!
About the only non card item I’ve made that I really loved was a paper bag album, but I’ve also really enjoyed stamped creations that have been framed, and because I give so many cards away in gift packs I’ve really enjoyed seeing the many different ways to package card sets to give as gifts.
Thanks so much for the chance at winning those AWESOME Trudee treats! Have a great day!
Congrats on our 175K….I love your blog! I love altering things, especially notebooks and unique shaped tins. You are offering such amazing candy this time and boy oh boy, would I LOVE to win it!!
Congratulations! What a great treat! I am always looking for things to do besides a card. I love doing candles with the tissue paper. I want to try a picture on the candle next. Also, here’s one I bet you haven’t seen yet: I stamp on rocks for the garden with embossing powder, fill in with an embossing pen in places that it didn’t quite get to and then personalize with names, phrases, words (like “GROW”) and then emboss - I just made a few using bronze powder. They look really cool amongst the flowers. I usually find my rocks which are a minimum of about 6 or 7 inches long in Newport, RI (we go there for a long weekend every summer). They are always pretty smooth and nicely shaped. Anyway, embossing gives them a raised look and I don’t need to seal them so they look more natural. They make nice little gifts, too. So, is my entry unique enough to win???? I hope so. Thanks for the chance! Thanks for inspiring me!
Dorothy
I love making boxes right now! I just made some paper boxes with lids and added a band around them and Im putting the 3×3 Love Notes with envelopes from SU in them and giving them to my friends for Christmas! Congrats on the hits!
Way to go Trudee!
I like to make boxes or bags to go with my cards! Anything new, the easier the better.
frannyb
Oh My Goodness…my face just dropped when I saw what you have for candy!!!
Congratulations on all your hits Trudee!!! Your blog is awesome!!
My favorite non card project right now is boxes…I love those peekaboo ones and just a plain box, they’re great for the holidays coming up! I’ll be putting some home made choc. in them and giving some away!!! Thanks for the chance to win that awesome prize…I still can’t believe it! Christmas in October!!!
Wowzers! 175K! My favorite non card thing to make would have to be Treats of any kind. I love all of the different ways that are available for packaging up the sweets!
Thanks for all of your inspiration.
Congrats on the huge number of hits to your blog. Great blog candy you are giving away. Everyone would love to win this. What I am making this year as teachers gifts is a bag that holds cards but I am filling it with a 3×3 card, big paper clip with a snowflake on it, post it note covered, notebook and pen, gum holder, chap stick holder and a candy kiss holder. I love making gifts like these and I am always looking for new ideas. If you can share anything like that it would be great.

Wow, what a generous thing to do. I absolutely love to make altered frames and clipboard. I also like to do pins with layered paper and shrink film.
Congratulations on all your hits! My favorite type of projects are more altered scrapping on the wall or gifts within a gift. Like decorated gift card holders that when done with the gift card it becomes a frame to enjoy for the rest of the year. That kind of thing. Congrats again!
I love making personalized scratch pad holders. I make them so you can slide the homemade (of course) scratch pad into a pocket on the back flap. There’s a kind of spine thing the thickness of the pad and a top that folds over. I don’t run out of ideas for them. Even my little grandbabies like having their own.
You have so many hits because your projects Rock!!! I love to make small gift boxes with handles decorated for the season!
I love the altered Tins and
stamping on tiles to make coasters!! congrats on the hits
mile stone!!!!
Very cool treats! I check your blog daily and get a lot of inspiration and ideas.
My favorite thing to make (other than cards) is clever little treat holders. I loved the Hershey Symphony bar wrappers everyone made for Valentine’s Day last year. I also like cute tins for treats, cards, etc.
Thanks for the fun treats!
Congratulations on your hits milestone. Because of the holidays, I am into gift packaging–boxes and bags–especially food gifts.
Wow, what an awesome treat! My favorite non-card project would be scrapbooks. I dream of altering all kinds of things from tins to coaster “stuff”.
WOW; 175k is so much!! I get all cheerful when I get 20 hits in a day :p
I’d say ATCs but those are cards too, LOL. OH, I know!! Modular origami!
It’s so easy to make and people love it and wonder how you made it.
Congratulations, Trudee! I love reading your blog daily. I enjoy making gift bags and boxes to give to family and friends. What a WONDERFUL give away! Thanks for your inspiration.
I have learned so much from you in the past seven months. You just ooze with talent. I guess the non-card things I’ve been doing lately is altering notebooks and journals of all sizes.
I really enjoy your blog, congratulations on its success. I love making things to give as inexpensive gifts, special treats or party favors and am always on the lookout for new ideas.
Thanks for the opportunity to win some cool stuff.
Presently I’m in to making any kind of box. Congrats on that many hits in such a short period of time!
NancyS (momsnack)
Besides making cards, I love making boxes and using designer paper on them, making Christmas balls w/dp, and altering other items like journals, planners, etc. Congrats, on your reaching this milestone.
Pinky
Wahoo, Trudee - 175K! You rock!!
My favorite non-card item is decorations. That’s a very broad category…but I recently altered a 3-clip clipboard with photos and embellishments and made some 3-D stars to eventually hang on the Christmas tree. They were both lots of fun to make!
Hi Trudee,
Gosh, what a give away, you are very generous! My favorite thing to alter as my daughter would say is anything that I can cover. I really like to alter compositon books and tins.
Thanks for your inspiration and sharing your talent.
I’m a subscriber so I “visit” your site regularly. I like scrapbooking and have gotten into using board books for mini albums and using coasters for frames.
Trudeeeee! WOW! What fun goodies! OOOOOhhWeee! Your blog has been one I regularly visit since recently learning about stamping blogs–you’re one talented lady! My favorite non-card project has been framed wall art. Sometimes it’s word-art (on the computer)–Scripture verses or names or a saying, then stamped. Sometimes it’s just a stamp — watercolored. Happy day to you!
Great Blog Candy!!!!!!! My favorite non card projects is the Decorated Paint cans and other tins.
I like making books-like the hardcover ones using bo bunny books or just some cheap ones I find in the dollar stores to alter. I also take the cd cases which are cardboard and alter them too.
I am moving you over to my reader today-I have done this before and unsubbed from burner but it still keeps coming in that format. Hmmmm.
My favorite non card project is to alter food containers and fill them with candy. I like frap bottles, but my all time favorite is the Food Lion bullion containers, the beef is clear with a red lid, the chicken is clear with a yellow lid, they are nice and wide so I can fill them with all kinds of fun treats and they look SOOO nice decorated!
I just stumbled onto your site. Love it!!! My favorite non-card projects are anything I can decorate my house with; clocks, coasters, windows, frames etc…
If I’m not making cards, I like to bake cookies or make quilts
My second favorite paper craft, though, is making fun “candy things”– like little mini-m&m match books, or cute label covered treasures, or little candy goodie bags….. stuff like that because they make such great gifts!
I love Christmas bags for small gifts and also gift boxes! I love to decorate these for my family and they love to get them, of course, they get reused, but I think that’s great!
I like any kind of gift packaging: boxes, bags, tins, etc. Congrats on your hits. You rock!
Holy…Oh my….Are you…WOW…I am speechless. That is a first. LOL. This is the best blog candy I have ever seen. Well, I love your blog and I look forward to reading it each morning. You work is Fab too of course.
I love all kinds of alterables but I think I like boxes that can be made from cardstock the most. It amazes me that you can make such AWESOME stuff like that out of cardstock and people who don’t craft go NUTS over that kind of stuff. I would love more ideas and more boxes like that.
Thanks for the chance to win.
Trudee,
How wonderfully generous you are! My favorite type of non card project seems to be little books. I’ve done some with the spirals on the back, but I’ve also done the ones where you just fold it differently. Lots of fun either way. Love your blog. I’m not surprised at the number of hits.
I will having to stop hyperventilating about ALL those goodies before I can answer. Thanks for this awesome opportunity. I guess my favorite type of project besides cards would be name frames. They are fun, relatively easy and make awesome, well appreciated gifts. Thanks again, Trudee! The creativity that you share with us via your blog is “treat” enough!
Not to mention my DD fav smiley faces!!!!!
Congrats on your hits wow
My favorit is giftboxes in any shape
Hugs Moon
Congrats pn your 175 millstone! My favorite non-card project is Decorating notebooks and pens! Thank you so much! Kivonne
So how does it feel to be an up and coming star in the blog world? lol Great blog candy!!! Mt fav non card craft is very similar, its scrapping!!! Infact scrapping is how I started papercrafting. Card making came later!!
I’m all about turning 4×4 coasters into tiny freestanding scrapbook pages.. they’re so much less intimidating than a real scrapbook page, at least to me!
Congrats on all those hits! Your blog is FAB!
My fave new thing to do? Picture frames! Right now I’m working on one with pieces of a bamboo mat and Tattered Angels sprays.
Congratulations on your instant blog success! With all the inspiration you give we should give you presents! Outside of cards I would say scrapbooking. I’ll keep my fingers crossed to win your awesome blog candy!
My favorite non-card project is altering lunch tins. It’s fast and easy and really makes a great present. And it also allows me to use my gorgeous designer paper. Thanks for the generous drawing!
Wow! What a prize. It is so generous. My favorite project other than making a card is making boxes of all different shapes and sizes. P.S. I always look forward to your postings — your work is so beautiful.
