Right now I am loving the candles with stamped tissue paper. I also like small mini scrapbooks.

Congratulations!!!! Your site is awesome. You have so many creative ideas. I’m not much of a cardmaker but I like to browse sites and see the amazing talent!!!

I like anything altered!!! I have altered everything from a tin Barn star to department store gift cards. I also like to make mini books.

Keep the inspiration coming :)

Congrats, Trudee! I love visiting your blog to see your beautiful work. My favorite altered item at the moment is notebooks. Everyone loves them - adults and kids alike! It always makes me smile when I pull out my pretty covered notebook to keep up with my lists and to-do’s.

I have been following your blog for several months now. Your work is a beautiful inspiration to me. I made a mini coaster album this weekend that was so much fun that I am going to make several more hopefully for Christmas. I am generally a card crafter, but this project has been a lot of fun. Take care and God bless . . . Elizabeth S.

Congratulations on such a fantastic (and well-deserved) milestone! And thanks for sharing such fantastic Trudee Treats! My favorite non-card projects are those that involve food…for gifts, of course!

Congrats on 7 months and 175K. Thanks for the daily dose of new ideas. In addition to cards, my girls and I stamp tiles to use as coasters. They make great teachers gifts.

WOW! 175K hits … that is fantastic! Excellent treats available too. My favorite things to make are mini books - I love using the cardboard cd folders and making them into little scrapbooks. I never fill them with pictures or things, but I love making them and giving them as little gifts.

What an awesome prize! I love to make childrens goodie bags. I also love to sew clothing articles. I hope I win because it would be my first time. Thanks for thr oppertunity.

I absolutely love to make little boxes, I am always saving different boxes that I buy stuff in and taking them apart for a new pattern to try. So quick and easy. Love all that gorgeous candy, Oh my I would love to get my hands on that!!! Thanks for sharing.

This is above and beyond Trudy Treats! My favorite non-card project would be a gift set of some sort. It seems that I am always needing a small gift for someone. I think when you take the time to hand make something it means a little more to the receiver knowing the time, thought and personalization you put into their gift. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent!

Pat

My favorite project is with coasters. You can do so much with them. From making
a flip book ie..calender to everyday coasters. And they are easy to cover! Another
project is to decorate paper bags.

Jannette D.

Oh my gosh, this is the BEST blog candy ever!!! I have been eyeing the Figgy Pudding paper and would love to have it as well as that little nugget box which I have also had my eye on. Anyhow, right now I am stamping tiles to make into coasters. My daughter wants to give away about 5 sets to my grandsons teachers, etc. and I told her this would be perfect. They are fun to do and look so professional when completed.
Thank you so very much for giving me hope to win this.
Cheryl Sims

WOW! What amazing blog candy! Lately I have been stuck on making Squash book with coasters. I love giving them as gifts. We did a walk-a-thon in honor of my sister for CF and I gave her one to journal and add pictures to. I also gave one to a good friend who just had a baby so she could have a little brag book with pictures to carry around. I love altering, too.

Congrats on the milestone! I’ve enjoyed seeing the variety of projects and styles you create! My personal favorite type of non card item is notebooks. Right now, I’m a big fan of the Target plain notebooks that have different colors of bindings. I get a kick out of finding patterned paper and ribbon to match. So easy!

Trudee! Oh My Gosh! That is the BEST blog candy evahhh!!! I am seriously salivating! LOL! Let’s see… My favorite project would probably be something I could use for a teacher’s present… or an ensemble that I could use to give anyone as a gift.

Wow - that’s a great prize! My favorite non-card project would be candles. Thanks for being so generous!

Trudee - Oh wow! Congrats on the hits and the milestones. Very well deserved, your blog is so wonderful and truly an inspiration! My non-card favorites are things that will hold a gift. Gift card holder, tins, cans, etc. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheryl

What a fabulouse awesome fantastic amazing prize! Congratulations on your achievement.
My favorite thing would be calendars, they are the most useful thing, I really like the coaster calendars the best.

Congratulations to you and thanks for all the daily inspiration! My favorite is mini albums (though I love boxes too!) So hard to pick just one thing!

Congratulations.. What an awesome accomplishment.. My favorite is my 5×7 calendars.. When you make 12 at a time their a lot of hard work.. But well worth the effort..

Wow….your giveaway is awesome. I love to make cards but am not a very crafty person….God must of left that gene out when he made me. I have covered and decorated the small composition books and inserted pretty paper in the pen and have also made bookmarks and had them laminated. Your blog gives me inspiration on my cards. Congratulations to you!

Congrats Trudee! The numbers speak for themselves…..your blog is inspiring! Great work.
I think my favorite paper craft has to be CARDS………I just love doing them. I always go back to making cards.
My favorite NON-card thing? Hmmmmmmmm…It would have to be gift containers; whether they be bags of some sort or altered tins.
I always love to try something new. I am just a crafty person…..I love it all.

Oh my!! These treats look delicious!! Congrats on having so many hits. Your blog is absolutely wonderful :)

As far as projects go…I’m still trying to master the cards. LOL My sister, however, made a set of beautiful coasters using her stamps. I would love to see some more of those. I think that would be a great Christmas gift for those hard to buy for people ;-)

My favorite would have to be books….starbooks, coaster books….I haven’t had much experience in either, have only made a couple, but would like to do more! Congratulations on all the hits on your blog! That is a great accomplishment! And what beautiful “Trudee Treats”! Your blog inspires me, I can’t wait for you to get another 175,000 hits!

Wow! Congrats on all those hits, your blog is always a great one to check out. I think my favorite would be either lunch boxes (love them!) or paint cans…I don’t think I could decide between the two, I love the results of both so much! Wishing you luck for 175,000 more!

Oooo, Treats! Thanks for the chance to win these gorgeous prizes! My favorite projects to make, other than cards, are boxes! I love to give gifts totally handmade, and boxes just finish off the entire package.

Congrats on your hits in a few short months! I enjoy sharing the cards I make and hearing the person’s comments when they realize I made it. I had so many I sent over 100 cards to the troops (through a magazine and I can’t remember which one). I also like the containers - what a fun way to give a gift! Of all the things I have made I think the coasters have been the most useful as I use them everyday.

My favorite project to alter is covering tins… TFS and all the enabling you do… Your blog is great.

wow - these treats are the BOMB! I’d love to win them! My favorite is making gift photo albums.

Thanks for the change to win!! My favorite non card item to do is name frames! I love making them - so fun!!

Hi Trudee! Wow, 175K hits…that is SO awesome. I am currently making “countdown to Christmas” calendars using my Dashing SU paper and cookie tins. They are looking marvelous if I do say so myself!!!!!

Congratulations and thanks for sharing your wonderful creations! Right now I am addicted to boxes and bags, I just can’t stop making them, and have no good reason to make them!

Amazing treats! I check daily and apparently many others do too! My favorite non-card project has to be any smaller type paper container that will hold a little treat. Boxes, pouches, bags…it doesn’t matter. I just love to make many and hand them out to family and friends. Congrats on reaching this milestone. Jenny

Hi Trudee- What a great giveaway!!! My favorite non-card project would have to be Christmas Ornaments- so much fun to make and so many people to give them to. I love having the kids help me make some for their teachers and grandparents- it turns out to be a fun family project.
I love your blog and all your wonderfully creative work- your cards are so beautiful.
Have a great day and congrats on your 175k hits!!!

What an amazing giveaway!! I definitely am a card girl, but lately I’ve really been enjoying making small framed pieces. Somehow it’s easier for me to use fancy embellishments if I know it’s going “up” :)

I’m loving the little albums made with coasters and bound with my Bind-It-All.

Congratulations Trudee! That is fantastic milestone and I just love checking in to your little craft corner. It’s so inspiring! My favorite thing right now is boxes of all kinds to put little handmade presents in. I make jewlery myself besides the cards and am always in need of little boxes to put them in :)! Thanks, Beatrice

I like all of the projects you mentioned…but probably my favorite is candles as part of a gift set. I just love the elegance of the stamped candles so much, and it truly is a simple project!!

Thanks for the chance at such awesome candy!!!

What a fun surprise! I love reading your blog everyday and looking at the details in your artwork. Your Copic Skills are amazing!

I really love to make frames right now. Be it decorating a frame that a photo will go in or making something to go into a frame. Being woman, I do reserve the right to change my mind as I tend to go in phases with favorite projects. :)

Congratulations Trudee! I love your blog and what amazing blog candy you are offering! My fave is anything that can be used as gifts - gift sets, coaster boxes, etc… Can’t wait to see what’s coming next!

Congratulations on hitting 175,000 on your blog. Yours is one of my favorites and I visit it every day. Your creations are so beautiful and inspirational.
I really enjoy gift sets. There’s just something about them that appeals to me. Thanks for the chance to win some really cool stuff. Holy cow! That’s some awesome blog candy!!!!

I love your blog - the candy is just icing on the cake! My favorite non-card thing to make is little boxes. They’re just so cute.

WOW, 175,000 that is awesome, Congratulations. My favorite project, other than cards, would be altering notebooks, you can customize them for the person and event, they are so much fun. Thanks for the opportunity to win such great blog candy.

Goodness Trudee! How generous you are!! My fave project (today, anyway) is making little notepads with my bind-it-all!! I used blank coasters for the outside, decorate the front one, cut some plain printer paper for the ‘notepad’ part, bind it and then add some ribbons on the coil!! Voila!! Cheap and easy for stocking stuffers!!!

175,000 Fantastic!!! The Trudee Treats are great too! My favorite non-card making project is altered frames. I love how you can personalize them for people.

Congrats on 175,000! I love matching gift sets and home decor. Currently, I’m also really liking all of the stamped Christmas ornaments. Thanks!

Oh wow, congrats to you! What amazing treats you are giving away! as for my favorite type of project, I would have to say that I love altering notebooks, they are like a more permanent card front that won’t get thrown away!

Your generosity is really overwhelming! Congratulations on all your hits! My favorite non-card project is mini-albums. They are similar to cards (in size) but not as overwhelming as a big scrapbook album, which I’d like to try, but always scares me!

I really enjoy checking in daily and seeing your creations and being inspired by your designs and color combos. I am scrapbooker at heart, so making cards has been a fun new treat (and quicker and easier to share!). I have started making totes with handles in a variety of sizes…some with coordinating cards for gift sets, others full of Halloween candy as RAKs for co-workers and clients who will come to the office on Halloween. I am thinking of making some as Christmas gift bags, too. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your creative talents!

What a great blog you have, I try to read it everyday (sometimes work gets in the way…lol…) Right now I am using chipboard alot and love to cover it with designer paper. I am making alot of calendars and address books for Christmas gifts for teachers and such.

Congrats on 75K!

My fav non-card projects are altered tins and scrapbooks :P

Congrats for hitting 175K! That’s awesome!

My favorite non-card projects is probably the Explosion box. It’s great, easy, and people are totally impressed by it. :)

Wow! What a huge success in 7 months - Congratulations! Your work is truly beautiful and sets the standard for CASE-ing pretty high :)

I recently found some great little wooden frames at IKEA that I can’t wait to alter. MOstly I’m a card maker, but I’m going to try something different with these. And I love the altered tins I’ve been seeing around on the blogs :)

Thanks for the chance at WONDERFUL candy!

right now i’m loving altering anything with chipboard! there’s something about the process of covering the chipboard and sanding it down that i find relaxing.

Woohoo! Congrats, Trudee! That’s awesome!

I made a Rolodex of “Favorites” at my LSS that I really like. Each tab is decorated and has space for your favorite “anything”. Right now I only have my favorite picture of my boys in there, but I’ll add to it soon.

I also made a ribbon box at my LSS. It’s decorated with Basic Grey paper (and buttons and bling!) and has four holes on each side to feed the ribbon through. The ribbon sits loosely in the box, but you can access it just by pulling it through the holes. It’s pretty nifty!

I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for the give-away!

I like making and decorating candy jars! Thanks for the fun opportunity Trudee!

Hugs,
Amy

I really enjoy reading your blog. My favorite non-card projects right now are stamping on candles using tissue paper, using laminate counter top samples to make gift tags for Christmas presents, stamping on tiles to make coaster and making 2-5-7-10 boxes and cutting out a piece in the front and replacing it with acetate that’s been stamped and embossed to make a window for the box.

I am really into nugget tins right now. I have 36 planned to make before Christmas. Of course, 20 of those will be with my students in my juvenile detention classroom. They are so excited to get to make these as gifts. I love making packaging, really cute packaging.

Wow, what rockin’ blog candy! My favorite non card items to make are photo albums…whether it be with my BIA, a photo explosion box, coaster frames, etc. I like to make them small enough to be carried in a pocket book or bag, makes for great gifts!

Wow! Those are great candy treats! My favorite non-card project is the stamped nuggets in the PTI hinged tins. They have such a wow factor!

Hi Trudee,

Congrats on the success of your blog…I’m a frequent lurker, you do beautiful work! :)

Congratulations on the milestone. My favorite non-card project is baking…the more chocolate the better and I love to find fun ways to package up my treats and give them as gifts. Thanks for sharing your creations and for the generous blog candy.

Holy Cow, what yummy treats! I haven’t seen the Figgy Pudding paper in person yet but it sure does look scrumptious!
I would have to say that my favorite non card project would be to alter the lunch boxes. I’ve done several that turned out pretty cute. And the recipients really appreciated them too. Thanks for the opportunity to win some goodies.
Chris

I love altering frames. I like that you can customize each one for the recipient or for the photo you plan to use in it. Thanks for the opportunity to win some awesome prizes!

Hi Trudee, I’ve been following your blog from almost day one and love all the things that you do. I am so happy that you have teamed up with Ellen Hutson, Michelle Wooderson and Debbie Olson. My favorite type of non-card project is altering things. I love to alter DVD cases, coasters, you name it. Thanks for having a blg candy giveaway.

My favourite things to make other than cards… hmmm, that’s tough cuz I don’t do a lot. The big projects look so beautiful but I have a hard time making mine that beautiful!

But, I did really enjoy decorating rectangular CD Tins last Christmas…. I then used them to hold Gift Cards that we gave as Christmas Presents. I’m going to decorate some up now that I have more in my hands to use for birthday presents as well. They come together really quickly and can have a lot of punch in their design quite easily.

I also enjoy making little boxes out of chipboard coasters.

Thanks so much for celebrating your anniversary and hits with us!

WOW! That is a fabulous giveaway! I love everything you do Trudee! You work is amazing! Right now I am enjoying altering frames for Christmas gifts. They are so inexpensive and make great personalized gifts! Card boxes, like tins are great too, but I’ve never done one. Really anything you do would be great!

Congrats on such a huge milestone in your blogging “career”. I love, love, love checking out your site every day. You are such an inspiration to many of us with your vision of things! I have gleaned many ideas from watching you grow. My favorite non-card thing to do is to alter tins. I love it when they finally come together and I can sit back and say “ahhh”.

What a way to celebrate! I love to alter just about anything that will sit still LOL! If a project includes patterned paper and I can get some ribbon or bling into it, I’m a very happy girl!

Congrats Trudee on 175K and for 7 months of blogging. I love your blog and seeing what you create. I have to say one of my favorite things to create that is non-card related are little fruit cans with a little gift inside. I think they are fun to decorate and easy as well fit a cute little gift that is usually a wonderful suprise for the recipient.

Kim Howard

Wow Trudee - you are so generous! My favorite non-card item is mini albums. I love tag albums, coaster albums, etc. It seems like there is no end to the items that can be used to create mini albums - I think they make great gifts too!

Oh this is easy right now. I jst altered two small acrylic paint cans for my boys for Halloween and now I’m addicted. I did three more last night for my Godson and nieces. OMGosh these are fun, fun, fun. What fab prizes on a fab blog!!! I don’t know how you work full-time and turn out such beautiful, creative treasures!

Congrats on you anniversary and nearly 175,000 hits! You have a great blog! I don’t do a lot of altered things, but my favorite non-card item is the calendars I make every year for a few select family members and friends. That is what I have been working on for the past few weeks. Only one month to go! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing your inspiration.

Wow! Way to go!!

My favorite non-card items are notebooks. I have always found myself collecting books, and now I just recover them to make them more fun!

That’s a lot of hits! :-) And I must say that’s the best blog candy offering EVER!

My favorite non-card projects are little gifts that I can give to friends, or co-workers at the office. Something like note pad holders and little bags or boxes to fill with something they will enjoy. Nothing too expensive, too complicated or too time consuming….just thoughtful little gifts.

WAHOO! Great giveaway T! :)

We should be giving YOU blog candy for such a fabulous blog!! Right now I’m seriously into the 2-5-7-10 boxes. Too fun! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with the rest of us.

My favorite non-stamping project is altering tins. I love Designer paper and finding just the right combination to decorate a tin. I love altering frames just as much though. I think its a *paper thing*. LOL….I love pretty paper!

I like to alter tins and to make calendars as gifts to family members.
Congrats on your milestone!

Congrats, Trudee!!! Your site is one of the best blogs around…you deserve a big round of applause *standing and clapping for you*!!!! :D
My fav. projects I would love to see more of, other than individual cards, would be maybe easily reproduceable sets of cards to give as gifts. I know Papertrey sells the acrylic boxes to package the sets but some ideas for sets would be great!!!
Keep up the great work!!!!!! THanks again,
~Lana B.~
lanastamps on SCS

Trudee, keep on stamping, please! I love seeing your beautiful artwork. I especially want to see some more TK artwork. :-)

As for what I like to make that is not a card - right now I’m having such a blast stamping a bunch of labels and covering the Nuggets and placing those in the tins from PaperTreyink. It’s going to make some great Christmas gifts for my co-workers.

I also love stamping on chipboard coasters. I have made a bunch of Christmas ornaments with these as part of an ornament swap. I just have a thing for ornaments right now.

You know those spools that ribbon is wound on? Well, I had finished a roll of ribbon, and was about to toss the spool, when I stopped and looked at it. Hmmmmmmmm…… I can make an ornament with that! So I painted it with MM paint, cut out some circles to fit, stamped on them, glittered them up, and glued them on. I used some ribbon around the “spool” part, looped it, and tied it off. It’s the cutest ornament!!! Now I’m not throwing away any of my ribbon spools anymore. :-)

Holly

What great goodies! I love visiting your site and have it in my favorites:) You do such beautiful work, theres no reason NOT to show it off!!! My favorite thing to alter is wooden boxes, any shape/size. I can’t seem to go in to a store and immediately think of what I can cover with pretty new paper:)
Dawn C.

Congrats on the fantastic blog and the amazing number of readers! My favorite non-card craft item is my Advent boxes. I use a 25-drawer tool chest, paint it up, and fill it! They’re great. If you’d like to see a pic, e-mail me…I don’t have any on my blog at the moment, but they’re a hit. And I’d love to win!

Wow Trudee, what a milestone. I check your beautiful blog everyday, though I admit to being more of a lurker than a commenter. You single-handedly enabled me into buying the sparkly Copics and they’re amazing! Congrats on your hits and OMG what a generous give-away!!

My favorite project is probably altering frames. I find that I can really involve my photography into these as well and they always end up so personal for the receiver. I have been known to make gift sets with everything coordinating and stamping on candles is always a favorite.

Oh my gosh! What AMAZING stuff you are giving us the chance to win. Thank you for that!!! As for my favorite item, I like to alter address books that I give to friends. Not only is it something they won’t throw away and they’ll use it a lot, but it’s a way for them to keep in touch with me!!! ;)

some of my favorite things to make are jumbo paper clips and magnetic coaster calendars.

175,000 - WOW!!! Congrats!!

I just love your site!!! I also love to make 3-D projects of all sorts along with reuse of items that I alter.

Woo hoo! Congratulations, Trudee, on the 175,000 hits! What wonderful goodies you’re giving away!

My favorite thing to alter is coasters. I enjoy making them into little books, into stand-up frames and a jacob’s ladder is fun and a real WOW project too!

Congrats, Trudee!

Hmmm, my favorite thing to alter, I would have to say tins or containers of any sort! I was buying dishwasher soap like a mad woman when it was coming in the adorable little tins. Tins, crystal light containers, pringles cans, altoids cans, AOL cd tins, etc. And the other part of that fun is figuring out exactly what to hide inside! :)

I just love your blog, you create fantabulous cards and things!!! Thank you for the chance to win the wonderful art supplies you are offering. I would love to get my hands on all of those goodies!! I really like to make boxes and containers. I like to give handmade gifts from the outside to the inside. Thanks again for the chance to win.

WOW!! What awesome treats! My favorite type of non-card project is scrapbook pages. I love knowing that I’ve preserved even a tiny bit of my kids’ childhood and that maybe someday my great, great, great … (you get the picture) grandchildren will enjoy looking back at what our lives were like. I know I’d LOVE to have something like that from my grandparents. Thanks so much for your amazing inspiration and for taking the time to share it all with us.

Altered journals!!! Please do a class or tutorial on these, pretty please?!!! I need to know how ya’ll get the paper around those spirals!!!
BTW, great giveaway!

I love to make any kind of treat box. an altered tin or just a paper box is a great little gift, especially if it has sweets in it. everybody loves candy!

Congratulations on hitting such a giant milestone on your blog. Most awesome giveaway also. I really don’t have a favorite non-card project. I have a ton of ideas I want to try but haven’t actually tried any of them yet. I can’t seem to get past paper. You’d think that after 10 plus years of stamping I would have had the urge to do so.

WOW!!! What incredible blog candy!!! My favorite non-card project is to make small scrappy type books with pics of the kids, colorful paper, embellishments and funny comments!!! Generally it tells a story (short story) of an event or about for example-how similar all 3 of my kids smile or who they resemble and compare pics, or a baseball season or a dance recital or scaled down art projects with pics of them “covered” in paint. KWIM? Thank you for such a great blogging, your among the best of the best!!!!!!

Thanks so much for all of the inspiration on your blog! I have never left a comment before, but I am here looking at least once a day. Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome prize! Excellent Blog candy!! Congrats on the 175000 hits! I love to make boxes with candies inside or make mini photo books. I also make gift sets of cards/stationery.

Thanks again for the opportunity to win this amazing blog candy!

I’m asking Santa for a Bind It All for Christmas because I love making little books. They can be used for so many occasions and situations, for memories, journaling, holiday ephemera, and much more. And they’re so much fun and really simple too.

175k?! That’s amazing! Congratulations Trudee!

My favorites are gifts. They can be singles or in sets - it doesn’t matter which because I love them both!

Congratulations on your milestone! I am enjoying playing with coasters lately. I have made the boxes with the SCS tutorial and also a mini-scrapbook and a cool card with pockets for a birthday gift. I bought lots of coasters so I need to keep using them. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Congrats! I read your blog via google reader so that I don’t miss a post!
I’ve altered lots of tins and photo frames, but looking to try altering a canvas. If you know how, I’d love some tips.

WOW! Those are some amazing Trudee Treats. I’ve a huge fan of your blog and read it often. My favorite non-card projects are small scrapbooks. I just purchased a bind-it-all, so I’ll be trying my hand as some altered coasters soon. I’ve enjoyed the coasters projects I’ve seen in blogland.

Trudee,

Thanks for sharing your work with us. It is so inspirational. I’m really a cardmaker but my favorite non-cardmaking project right now is the file folder accordian albums. I also love to crochet and sew.

Janet

Holey moley! Those are *some* treats! :-) Congrats, Trudee, on your milestone. Your blog is one of my favorites.

My favorite non-card stamping item these days is little containers. I love to make little boxes and bags, often from templates I find at Splitcoast.

I love visiting your blog. Such great work. My noncard favorite right now would be alterable items found at craft sotres or even in my own home(pringles cans, peanut tins, etc). So much fun stuff to do with them!

I’ve been pretty stuck on cards lately and leaning new techniques from all of the great blogs I’ve been finding. I especially like the two Christmas ornaments that I found on your site (clear glass w/paper rolls and the pinecone). I plan on making them for my boyfriend’s mother and sister this year. I also can’t wait to get into the boxes, tins, and coasters, etc. I’m somewhat new to most of this and I’m a little overwhelmed with all of the different beautiful projects–I want to do them all right now, but I have to pace myself! :-)

Congratulations on hitting 175,000, Trudee! That’s amazing (well, not really cuz your stuff is so awesome, but still…)!

My favorite type of altered item is the nugget tins. I think they are just the cutest thing EVER!!! I can’t wait to make some this Christmas!

Thanks for the chance to win your amazing blog candy.

Shelby

Hi~ I love your blog and all your art! :) You inspire me everyday! I just bought copics and I try and practice to color and beautiful as you! Right now I love make Fabulous totes and matching cards using the one sheet wonder technique. Thanks for the chance at the awesome blog candy. I would love to get my hands on those fabulous copic glitter pens!

Woohooo… Congrats!….

I love to make alter bags for wraping gifts….

reflections:0)

Hi Trudee! My favourite things right now are gift wrap items - bags, boxes, and of course gift tags. Those little things just make the whole gift so much nicer! And of course with Christmas coming, I’ll have a chance to try lots of new different things. Thanks for all that you do!

How cool…175k!!!!! My favorite non-card project is any type of box or bag I can make myself. For instance, a genie bag or a box like we did for the TLC challenge this week. If I can make a container from paper, I am in heaven!!! LOL! Hugs-Jd

Congrats on your milestone! I am loving your blog and all the wonderful ideas.
My favorite thing to alter right now are coasters. I love using them to make mini-books and frames.

Penny

Wow! What a lot of comments! It shows you have lots of readers! :)
My favorite non card item would be books, either photo albums or small books used as note pads. I don’t really do much altering.

Congratulations! You’ve got one of the best blogs around, so keep up the great work. I’d have to say that my favorite non-card item would be altering frames. The possibilities are endless, and I can let my creative juices flow.

Take care - Regina Davis

Congrats Trudee!! I am always so enabled by you!!
I love seeing the stamped candles and tile coasters on SCS. I’m always so amazed everytime I see those! I would love to see your interpretation!!

Congratulations, Trudee! I love your blog and check it daily to see your latest creation! Lately, I’m having fun stamping gift sets to have on hand to wrap a gift in a hurry. I use plain gift bags and stamp them, along with matching stamped tissue paper and a gift card. Michelle Wooderson showed this on her blog a few months ago and I loved the idea.

WOW….175K hits, that is fantastic. Not a surprise, you are well loved. Your work is fantastic. I stalk, oops, visit your blog daily….have received much inspiration from your designs. I have become addicted to doing calendars and tiles. My poor family…they are just about tiled out…so now to do friends. The blog candy is fantastic…soooo many goodies, just in time for holiday cards. Take care and have a wonderful day.

Congrats! Well I like to do a lot of things, but all gift oriented and since our baby all having to do with pictures. Altered picture frames, flip albums with pictures of Izzy, I would love to try putting pictures on coasters and I am loving the pictures on the building blocks like a puzzle.

It’s a good life!
Terri E.

Wellllllll - lately my favorite NON-CARD item have been small journals and notebooks made with the Bind-it All…LOVE THEM - guess what everyone is getting for the holidays

Congrats on 175k!!!! What a load of treats you are going to share! I have to say my favorite non-card item is altering tins. All different shapes and sizes of tins.

Wow! This is some serious candy! I am addicted to making cards - not always the conventional card - maybe a tag in a decorative slider, etc. But other than cards I like doing several other projects almost as much as I do making cards - altering books, items, etc. But I think making little books ranks after cards.

Congratulations! My favorite thing to make besides cards are mini or pocket scrapbooks! They get used for much longer since I always want to look at the pictures!

WOW!! That is some FABULOUS candy!! Thanks for the chance!! My favorite non-card project at the moment is altered wood blocks. I love how many different sayings you can make & I think they make great gifts!!

Tins and notebooks are probably my favorite non-card items right now. I do have a bunch of coasters sitting in my craft room, and I would love to try my hand at frames, so those are on my “give it a try” altering list.
Thanks for the offer on the great blog candy!

Congrats on 7 months and 175K! Thanks for your great ideas that I turn to daily. I love to alter noebooks and tins. I am always looking for tins to give to teachers for gifts from my kids. Thank you for the goodies that you are giving away and for being so generous with your supplies and ideas!

Oh Trudee, you are awesome! Congrats on 175k. I can’t pass up that blog candy. Sooo many yummy goodies. My favourite non-card projects are probably gifts for others, especially cute and unique ways to package up holiday treats like cookies, candies, etc.

Holy Cowsamoly, that is some FABULOUS blog candy! How fun is that going to be for a lucky lady??!!
My favorite would have to be the little boxes…I especially like the “new” one that someone just posted, with the little window in it and a lid that opens up! It is TOO CUTE! Of course in my mind “boxes” includes other altered containers, like the metal tins, etc.!!
Your blog is wonderful, you are wonderful, I LOVE your creations! Have a great week!

Thanks for the blog candy! My favorite thing to do is give altered and/or hybrid gifts. Nothing says ‘love’ like a homemade gift!

Thanks for the blog candy! I mostly love to alter mini clipboards (look at my gallery on SCS and you will what I mean - tee hee). I also like to alter composition notebooks although I wish they were refillable so that the person you are giving it to can replace the paper and keep the cover - oh well! I’ve also altered paint cans which are fun to do.

Love your blog and often visit it for inspiration! Thank you so much!

Love your blog - just found it from Nichole Heady’s blog. Great blog candy too!

I’m into altering the nugget boxes these days. Great for all holidays!

Oh, you MUST pick my name!!! Mega cyber wishes here! :) My favorite non-card project would have to be anything altered, but I guess specifically boxes and books. You rock, Girlie!

WOW!! 175K and just in 7 months, congratulations. My favorite non-card project would have to be anything altered..it’s just so much fun. Thanks for the chance =)

Congratulations in advance of reaching 175,000 hits - Wow!!! I think with your *fabulous* blog candy offer - it’ll come sooner than you think ;) Though I haven’t done this before, I’m pretty sure stamping on tiles will be my favorite as I’m planning on making several sets as Christmas gifts :) Thanks for the chance to win so many wonderful things.

My favorite is to alter notebooks. With 2 DD’s, they make such easy gifts and are quick and easy, or I can put more effort into it.

What a great accomplishment. Your blog is so very inspiring. My favorite for the holidays will be tins, boxes, etc. to decorate and fill with “goodies”.

Congratulations!!! I have to admit a small part in this -I love your blog and check it everyday!!! Thanks for sharing. My favorite non-card craft is small boxes or treat bags. It’s so much fun to make someone’s day with even just a little surprise of a small treat box or bag with a few goodies in it. It’s not always affordable or practical to give real gifts frequently, but it’s always fun to surprise someone with a small “just because” or “thank-you” gift. Thanks again and PLEASE continue to share your ideas with us!! :)

Great blog! I’ve enjoyed seeing your work!

My favorite non-card project would be making gift-bags and treats for neighbors and friends.

Oh My!! And you wonder how your numbers are so high?!?! Awesome treats-thanks! My favorite non-card thingy is name frames. I’ve been commissioned to do several, but I really love doing them as gifts for my son’s friends or for baby gifts and birthdays. Especially if it’s a name that’s spelled differently from the norm, they seem to really appreciate it because they can’t find things with their name on it spelled like they spell it. Sure would be fun using some of those Trudee’s Treats in my frame designs!

Trudee, 175K hits, I’m not surprised. I visited you daily for inspiration. My favorite non-card projects are altered tins and journals. They make such great gifts. Congrats on this milestone.

I love any kind of altered gift items. Things you could give to teachers and neighbors that are fairly inexpensive but will wow them! The nugget tins are a cool one…now I just need a few more ideas! wink wink! Lisa K momoflandd@yahoo.com

wow! awesome goodies! thanks for the opportunity to share your celebration over your phenomenal blog hits!

my favorite non-card project (for right now) are wooden totes. i purchase them at a local craft store, cover them in acrylic paint, and then use dp and stamps to make the fronts *pop*. i have sold several of them at craft shows, and i’ve even poted some on scs and my blog. so much fun to make!

Yippee! 175,000 hits! That is such a huge number. I have been enjoying making treat sacks for teachers and friends lately. I like to bake, so I just put a couple little treats in the sacks and attach a little coordinating card to let them know they’re loved and appreciated.

Hi…. I love your website. I was surfing stampin up sites and came accross yours. I would have to say my favorite non card project is tile costers. I just made a few, to see how they would turn out and they look awesome! I am so excited to make some more.

Oh my word…what awesome goodies!!!
My favorite non-card project right now would be using my Bind-it-all making those awesome little address books that I saw on Beate’s (I think it was hers) blog. They are fun, useful, simple and quite inexpensive. Everyone I’ve given them to has loved them, including my pickier than ever - thinks mom’s scrapbooking/card making/papercrafting hobby is goofy - daughters.

I haven’t done too much altering, but I did really like the wooden birthday calendar I made. I stamped the design on the wood and coloured it with watercolour markers, then sprayed it with a matte sealer. Before I became a stamper I was a tole painter. Stamping is much quicker.

[…] it out… Trudee has some fabulous goodies on her blog, Follow Your Bliss. Make sure you take the time to check it […]

I love making unique gift holders…. boxes, special envelopes (using premade envelopes or other stuff and folding/cutting to make a “different” container), stuff you can make from card stock like the cones, gift bags, food gift bags…. I have never really done any altering. I guess I need to take a class to whet my appetite for that type of thing.

Congrats! You have an awesome blog! My favorite non-card projects are making / altering gift bags & boxes. I am obsessed with paper!!

Thanks for the inspiration!

OH MY WORD!! fabulous candy!!
Congrats on the 7 months blogging, and the enourmous amount of hits!! Way to go, obviously you’re doing something right!
Anyway, you asked about my favorite non card crafty project.
Well there are a few. I love to sew baby blankets, and embroider the babies name on it. I love to paint, and decorate mail boxes, and I love tomake anything Christmasy!
I hope that helps.
Amy

Congratulations!! I love your blog - one of the ones I visit every day. Thanks for the chance to win this amazing “bunch of treats”.
I like making coasters out of tiles.
I just made my first coaster book/journal using my Bind it All and I can see that will quickly become a favourite also.

WOW what exciting blog candy!! My fav non card project is mini albums… have a wonderful day and take care and blessings, dawn g

just wanted to say love your blog! and right now i love doing paper bag albums, altering frames.

wow Trudee, what wonderful blog candy! Congratulations on so many hits. I think my favorite non-card project is mini books. They are such fun to make, and I always learn something new when I do one.

Right now I love making ornaments. Thanks for the chance to win such fab stuff!

Congrats on 175,000….holy moly. What FANTASTIC blog candy….Wowzers!

I guess i should say thanks for all the enabling!!! lol!!
You rock, girl! Your style is fantastic and I try to never miss a post.

My fav project besides a card is some type of altered bag—I use bags a lot for gift giving so it is fun to see neat and inventive ways to dress up a bland bag.

My favorite is some sort of handmade gift such as a box, frame, or food gift which I package and decorate with stamps. I usually make food gifts like chocolates, fudge, cookies, flavored popcorn, caramels or tea breads to share.

Congrats on your 175K in such a short time. I’m not surprised, cuz you are so creative, talented, and very inspiring. I just love all your stuff! Now for your sweet celebratation candy, all I can say is you TOTALLY ROCK! My mind is going crazy thinking of all the FUN stuff you could do with this loot. I love to alter everything that doesn’t move. Thanks so much for a chance at your sweet candy.
cmeyers@hughes.net

Congratulations on all your hits! You totally deserve it. And what fabulous gifts you are willing to share with us. Pick me please!!
My now-favorite non stamping thing to do is alter wooden letters. These are what I have been working on http://rincondelencanto.blogspot.com/2007/10/wood-love-this-challenge-wt136-scs.html

Wow!!! Congratulations, Trudee!! Your amazing creations keeping us coming back for more Ü!

About the only non card item I’ve made that I really loved was a paper bag album, but I’ve also really enjoyed stamped creations that have been framed, and because I give so many cards away in gift packs I’ve really enjoyed seeing the many different ways to package card sets to give as gifts.

Thanks so much for the chance at winning those AWESOME Trudee treats! Have a great day!

Congrats on our 175K….I love your blog! I love altering things, especially notebooks and unique shaped tins. You are offering such amazing candy this time and boy oh boy, would I LOVE to win it!!

Congratulations! What a great treat! I am always looking for things to do besides a card. I love doing candles with the tissue paper. I want to try a picture on the candle next. Also, here’s one I bet you haven’t seen yet: I stamp on rocks for the garden with embossing powder, fill in with an embossing pen in places that it didn’t quite get to and then personalize with names, phrases, words (like “GROW”) and then emboss - I just made a few using bronze powder. They look really cool amongst the flowers. I usually find my rocks which are a minimum of about 6 or 7 inches long in Newport, RI (we go there for a long weekend every summer). They are always pretty smooth and nicely shaped. Anyway, embossing gives them a raised look and I don’t need to seal them so they look more natural. They make nice little gifts, too. So, is my entry unique enough to win???? I hope so. Thanks for the chance! Thanks for inspiring me!
Dorothy

I love making boxes right now! I just made some paper boxes with lids and added a band around them and Im putting the 3×3 Love Notes with envelopes from SU in them and giving them to my friends for Christmas! Congrats on the hits!

Way to go Trudee!
I like to make boxes or bags to go with my cards! Anything new, the easier the better.
frannyb

Oh My Goodness…my face just dropped when I saw what you have for candy!!!
Congratulations on all your hits Trudee!!! Your blog is awesome!!
My favorite non card project right now is boxes…I love those peekaboo ones and just a plain box, they’re great for the holidays coming up! I’ll be putting some home made choc. in them and giving some away!!! Thanks for the chance to win that awesome prize…I still can’t believe it! Christmas in October!!!

Wowzers! 175K! My favorite non card thing to make would have to be Treats of any kind. I love all of the different ways that are available for packaging up the sweets!
Thanks for all of your inspiration.

Congrats on the huge number of hits to your blog. Great blog candy you are giving away. Everyone would love to win this. What I am making this year as teachers gifts is a bag that holds cards but I am filling it with a 3×3 card, big paper clip with a snowflake on it, post it note covered, notebook and pen, gum holder, chap stick holder and a candy kiss holder. I love making gifts like these and I am always looking for new ideas. If you can share anything like that it would be great.

Wow, what a generous thing to do. I absolutely love to make altered frames and clipboard. I also like to do pins with layered paper and shrink film.

Congratulations on all your hits! My favorite type of projects are more altered scrapping on the wall or gifts within a gift. Like decorated gift card holders that when done with the gift card it becomes a frame to enjoy for the rest of the year. That kind of thing. Congrats again!

I love making personalized scratch pad holders. I make them so you can slide the homemade (of course) scratch pad into a pocket on the back flap. There’s a kind of spine thing the thickness of the pad and a top that folds over. I don’t run out of ideas for them. Even my little grandbabies like having their own.

You have so many hits because your projects Rock!!! I love to make small gift boxes with handles decorated for the season!

I love the altered Tins and
stamping on tiles to make coasters!! congrats on the hits
mile stone!!!!

Very cool treats! I check your blog daily and get a lot of inspiration and ideas.

My favorite thing to make (other than cards) is clever little treat holders. I loved the Hershey Symphony bar wrappers everyone made for Valentine’s Day last year. I also like cute tins for treats, cards, etc.

Thanks for the fun treats!

Congratulations on your hits milestone. Because of the holidays, I am into gift packaging–boxes and bags–especially food gifts.

Wow, what an awesome treat! My favorite non-card project would be scrapbooks. I dream of altering all kinds of things from tins to coaster “stuff”. ;)

WOW; 175k is so much!! I get all cheerful when I get 20 hits in a day :p

I’d say ATCs but those are cards too, LOL. OH, I know!! Modular origami! :D It’s so easy to make and people love it and wonder how you made it.

Congratulations, Trudee! I love reading your blog daily. I enjoy making gift bags and boxes to give to family and friends. What a WONDERFUL give away! Thanks for your inspiration.

I have learned so much from you in the past seven months. You just ooze with talent. I guess the non-card things I’ve been doing lately is altering notebooks and journals of all sizes.

I really enjoy your blog, congratulations on its success. I love making things to give as inexpensive gifts, special treats or party favors and am always on the lookout for new ideas.
Thanks for the opportunity to win some cool stuff.

Presently I’m in to making any kind of box. Congrats on that many hits in such a short period of time!
NancyS (momsnack)

Besides making cards, I love making boxes and using designer paper on them, making Christmas balls w/dp, and altering other items like journals, planners, etc. Congrats, on your reaching this milestone.

Pinky

Wahoo, Trudee - 175K! You rock!! :)

My favorite non-card item is decorations. That’s a very broad category…but I recently altered a 3-clip clipboard with photos and embellishments and made some 3-D stars to eventually hang on the Christmas tree. They were both lots of fun to make!

Hi Trudee,
Gosh, what a give away, you are very generous! My favorite thing to alter as my daughter would say is anything that I can cover. I really like to alter compositon books and tins.
Thanks for your inspiration and sharing your talent.

I’m a subscriber so I “visit” your site regularly. I like scrapbooking and have gotten into using board books for mini albums and using coasters for frames.

Trudeeeee! WOW! What fun goodies! OOOOOhhWeee! Your blog has been one I regularly visit since recently learning about stamping blogs–you’re one talented lady! My favorite non-card project has been framed wall art. Sometimes it’s word-art (on the computer)–Scripture verses or names or a saying, then stamped. Sometimes it’s just a stamp — watercolored. Happy day to you!

Great Blog Candy!!!!!!! My favorite non card projects is the Decorated Paint cans and other tins.

I like making books-like the hardcover ones using bo bunny books or just some cheap ones I find in the dollar stores to alter. I also take the cd cases which are cardboard and alter them too.

I am moving you over to my reader today-I have done this before and unsubbed from burner but it still keeps coming in that format. Hmmmm.

My favorite non card project is to alter food containers and fill them with candy. I like frap bottles, but my all time favorite is the Food Lion bullion containers, the beef is clear with a red lid, the chicken is clear with a yellow lid, they are nice and wide so I can fill them with all kinds of fun treats and they look SOOO nice decorated!

I just stumbled onto your site. Love it!!! My favorite non-card projects are anything I can decorate my house with; clocks, coasters, windows, frames etc…

If I’m not making cards, I like to bake cookies or make quilts :) My second favorite paper craft, though, is making fun “candy things”– like little mini-m&m match books, or cute label covered treasures, or little candy goodie bags….. stuff like that because they make such great gifts!

I love Christmas bags for small gifts and also gift boxes! I love to decorate these for my family and they love to get them, of course, they get reused, but I think that’s great!

I like any kind of gift packaging: boxes, bags, tins, etc. Congrats on your hits. You rock!

Holy…Oh my….Are you…WOW…I am speechless. That is a first. LOL. This is the best blog candy I have ever seen. Well, I love your blog and I look forward to reading it each morning. You work is Fab too of course.

I love all kinds of alterables but I think I like boxes that can be made from cardstock the most. It amazes me that you can make such AWESOME stuff like that out of cardstock and people who don’t craft go NUTS over that kind of stuff. I would love more ideas and more boxes like that.

Thanks for the chance to win.

Trudee,
How wonderfully generous you are! My favorite type of non card project seems to be little books. I’ve done some with the spirals on the back, but I’ve also done the ones where you just fold it differently. Lots of fun either way. Love your blog. I’m not surprised at the number of hits.

I will having to stop hyperventilating about ALL those goodies before I can answer. Thanks for this awesome opportunity. I guess my favorite type of project besides cards would be name frames. They are fun, relatively easy and make awesome, well appreciated gifts. Thanks again, Trudee! The creativity that you share with us via your blog is “treat” enough!
Not to mention my DD fav smiley faces!!!!!

Congrats on your hits wow
My favorit is giftboxes in any shape
Hugs Moon

Congrats pn your 175 millstone! My favorite non-card project is Decorating notebooks and pens! Thank you so much! Kivonne

So how does it feel to be an up and coming star in the blog world? lol Great blog candy!!! Mt fav non card craft is very similar, its scrapping!!! Infact scrapping is how I started papercrafting. Card making came later!!

I’m all about turning 4×4 coasters into tiny freestanding scrapbook pages.. they’re so much less intimidating than a real scrapbook page, at least to me!

Congrats on all those hits! Your blog is FAB!

My fave new thing to do? Picture frames! Right now I’m working on one with pieces of a bamboo mat and Tattered Angels sprays.

Congratulations on your instant blog success! With all the inspiration you give we should give you presents! Outside of cards I would say scrapbooking. I’ll keep my fingers crossed to win your awesome blog candy!

My favorite non-card project is altering lunch tins. It’s fast and easy and really makes a great present. And it also allows me to use my gorgeous designer paper. Thanks for the generous drawing!

Wow! What a prize. It is so generous. My favorite project other than making a card is making boxes of all different shapes and sizes. P.S. I always look forward to your postings — your work is so beautiful.

Boxes, boxes boxes!!! I just love to make them out of decorative paper and embellish them with cut out stamped images. They really wow people and get them excited about taking up the craft.
Congratulations on hitting such big numbers, but I can understand why everyone comes to look. You have great ideas. Thanks so much for sharing.
Cindy

Tru what a great gift for someone. Congrats on hitting 175,000. I love to
make boxes and fill them with note cards or candy or ribbon, or glitter etc.
I would love to win honey, so pick me… Barb

Hi Trudee, my favorite non card projects are altering notebooks, making matching bags to hold card sets and stamping on ceramic ornaments. I love your blog and your creations!

Congratulations on 175K. Wow! What an accomplishment. Love your site and the beautiful cards you make. My favorite craft outside of cards is scrapbooking. I love creating scrapbooks to music. They are rewarding and inspiring. Thanks for all of the wonderful craft ideas.

What fabulous blog candy! I love your blog, Trudee! My favourite non-card project has to be altered notebooks. Thanks for the chance to win, and congratulations on all those hits! You deserve it - your blog is fantastic!

I would have to say, apart from cards, I have done a lot of candles and notebooks, so I guess those are my favorite non-card things to do. I need to try more, though. I love all the things you have posted on your blog!

Wow, that is awesome blog candy, how could I not try to win!!?! I love making altered tins and handmade journals. Lots of room for creativity with these. Thanks for the chance to win and for all the great ideas!

Two Christmas’s ago I made candles for my children teachers as gifts. They were easy and fun. My kids even got a kick out of making them. Last Christmas we did not get a chance to make anything because we moved, but this year we will make extra candles for us! Candles do make an easy fun gift!

Congrats on your blog. It is my Fave!!!

Leslie Springer

What great blog candy. Congrats on the milestone! My favorite thing to alter was an old wooden cigar box. It was a little time consuming but worth the effort.

Congratulations- I really enjoy reading your blog and seeing your projects, you do amazing work! My favorite non-card things to work on would have to be notebooks/journals and boxes of any shape or size.

OMG this blog candy is to die for!! Thanks Trudee, LOVE your blog! CONGRATS to you!!! I am having difficulty thinking of a fave non-card item. Maybe wall art, even though I haven’t done it yet (tried once). I think it is useful and inspiring, so would love to try that again soon. Thanks for a wonderful blog!

7 months and 175K! Wow…I’m not surprised though, because you make beautiful things.

I’d really really really like to win this blog candy! So many fun things I haven’t had the opportunity to experiment with are in the candy. Thanks for being so generous.

I like making boxes of all kinds most. I think it’s amazing that creative people have figured out all that math and I just get to follow instructions and something awesome emerges.

Congratulations on the hits!

I like to make containers of all sorts - tins, boxes, paper bags - anything that holds something!

how cool! all those hits! I keep wondering if anyone reads my blog… LOL! I like to make clipboards, boxes, gift card holders, and custom gift bags! It is so much fun!!! oh, and one thing my stamping buddies and I were thinking about it making a name tag with some shrink it! that will be FUN!!!

Right now I’m enjoying the door hangers because they’re really fun for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as quick/easy to ship in a padded envelope to friends/family. I’m nowhere near as talented as you and Julia (whose blog referred me here), but I so enjoy all the wondrous things you ladies post. Thanks for inspiring those of us who are less creative!

Oh my gosh, thanks for the opportunity to win such great candy. Love your blog by the way. My favorite non card project has to be scrapbooking hands down!

My favorite? YOu only want us to pick one! Well I have been hooked lately on covering some paint cans. I usually fill a gift bag with little goodies for my kids
( 28 and 30)!! and their wives, but this year I am going to fill tins. I am going to make a generic one to keep on hand with just some candy, gift card etc in case I need a last minute gift.
That is one terrific prize you are giving away. Many thanks for all your great inspiraions on your blog everyday. Happy Stamping, Eileen

Oh my…I am late, aren’t I? Your treats look fab! My fav non-card project? I would have to say the 2, 5, 7, 10 box (but I really don’t have too much to judge from just yet!)…TFS!

Congrats! I just love your blog and all the inspiration I get. Right now I am making a variety of Christmas ornaments inspired by the ones I’ve seen on your blog. Thanks!

Congrats on 175K!!! Let’s see…I most like to make boxes and little gift bag thingys. That would have to be my favorite. Oh yeah, I also like altering journals and such.

Congratulations to you on your very successful blog. You do such awesome work. I love to make gift ensembles. Last night I gave my girflriend a bargello covered date book and two matching cards. Last month I made a gift basket of altered candles for another girlfriend. The matching tag was adorable. Thanks for giving away such awesome candy.

what awesome trudee treats!

i love to make cards, but I also like to alter items. I altered some desk items to give to my dad for his birthday.

When I’m not making cards or scrapbooking, I LOVE using my Bind-it-all and creating useful organizational gifts. I made a swatch book of SU colors last summer and just recently a Christmas shopping list book to fit in my purse. I’ve made several of those now. You can see two on my blog http://kroppykat.blogspot.com/

Thanks for offering the blog treats. I sure hope I win!

Hugs,
Colleen

I love to alter tins and put in a biggie clip, post-it note holder, altered mini-theme book and anything else I can fit it in. Fun to do and great teacher gifts.

Card making is really my only love at the moment because it’s fast and easy. But I also dabble with crystal bracelets and candles . Thanks for offering the terrific blog candy!

WOW! I would love to win that paper! I’ve been looking for it in the stores- I have one more store to check out and if I can’t find it I’ll break down and buy it online! My fave non-card would probably be the name frames. I haven’t made too many of them but I just like the way you can personalize them. A close second would be the coaster boxes!

I am currently altering tins. I love making the mini albums too. I’ve completed some scrapbooks and only recently got interested in cards. Your blog is always full of great ideas and inspiration.

What an incredible blog prize you are offering! Thank you so much! My favorite non card project as of late is altering glass dishes…add collage and stamping behind glass. Fun to do!

Awesome goodie package!! My favorite non-card thing would be notebooks right now! I would love to see anything altered just for ideas, though. Love your blog and visit daily! Congrats on the milestone!

Unbelieveable blog, unbelieveable blog candy, unbelieveable number of comments!! I just finished a covered guest book for my mom’s wedding (she turned 70 today & is getting remarried on Saturday!), have been making Book Clips, Post-IT’s and all kinds of other things for upcoming craft shows. Thanks for the fun as I Follow Your Bliss! :)

Congratulations on your blog! I only wish I was brave enough to give it a try myself. For non-card items I love boxes in all shapes and sizes! Even better with coordinating cards to give as gifts. BTW- I would love to win your blog candy! I am crazy about Basic Grey papers and I have been wanting the make a wish stamp set. Thanks again for all great inspiration you give!

My favorite project is making clippies because they are easy, quick, and so practical.

I love using the beautiful designer papers out now to decorate the plain lunch box tins or the paint cans. Make them for my grandkids, or any teenager for that matter; they love ‘em!

I like to alter items. I look at almost every container that I buy to see if I can cover and reuse it! Congratulations on your anniversary - your talent is amazing!

WOW!!! What GREAT blog candy!!! It is sooo hard to say what my absolute fave thing to make (other than cards) is…I love learning how to make new boxes — especially treat boxes! I also love learning a new “giftable” type item…I’ve had a lot of fun making “gift sets” with the altered pens, notebooks, Post-it holders….I guess I’d better stop there, huh? =) Thanks for offering such wonderful blog candy! Whoever wins that, wins a JACKPOT! =)

Crystal (SCS happy2stamp4ever)

My favorite non-card project is mini albums! About 4-6 pages (I said mini!)

Oh, my goodness! Stop!!!! I can’t take all this generosity. Well, actually I could, but I’m just saying… Yikes! What a haul!

I love making gift tags and having fun with wrapping.

barb

Decorated shortbread and gingerbread cookies! Wrapped in a cello bag with a stamped tag looks adorable!

My favorite non-card project is scrapbooking! I try to incorperate stamps whenever possible and make my scrapbook page have more of a “card” look.

Congratulations!!!WOW! 175,000 hits! But then, why should we be surprised?- Your blog is fabulous! :0D
Man, those are some Trudee Treats! I sure would LOVE to win these! :0)

I am a subscriber, so I keep up every day…just love your card designs!

My favorite non-card item is boxes.
I just finished a swap challenge and made the petal box, using the 5-in-1 template. The tutorial is Beate’s.
I made the box red and green, tied with a white ribbon, and added a red berry Christmas pick…very nice, if I do say so myself :)

Holy Blog Candy, Bat-girl!! I want that!!
My favorite things to make involve altering chipboard…Lovelovelove all the bare elements stuff…purses, boxes, and stuff. I haven’t tried the little tin boxes but they look so cute with the chocolate nuggets!!
hugs,
Holly

Mini books, mini books, mini books! Love to make them and love to give them away away.

Congrats on your milestone and thanks for the generous candy offer.

WOW, 175K in hits…..that is awesome….congrads!!! And the blog candy…..absolutely YUMMY! I sincerely hope I get lucky and win this one….!

Okay now my favorite non card item….its definitely altering coasters/playing cards into different items to present as gifts. Most recipients can’t believe that I’ve created the gift with the coasters you find at a restuarant or oversized playing cards I found at the pharmacy for $1.99 for 52 plus 2 jokers…. that’s 54 pieces for less than $2.00…. and they can be altered to fit the receivers tastes, making the gift extra special.

I hope this helps in inspiring some future blog, that would really make my day…well that and having my number come up…LOL

Thanks for letting me play…

anette648@yahoo.com

OMGoodness this is totally awesome blog candy!! Love it all!! My fav non-card project would be the altering the round tins from Papertrey. I saw what Nichole did with hers and had to order them - these will make for some cute Christmas goodies!! Congrats on the milestone!!

congrats on the hits. What a great giveaway. Those items are fabulous. I like to alter tins mostly. I have dabbled in photo frames, ornaments, and 6×6 scrapbook pages also.

Hi Trudee!

I think I’m your biggest fan! You were so nice to me once long ago and answered some questions I sent you through SCS and I’ve been amazed by your talents ever since!
My favorite non-card project would be altering tins of all types. I love the reactions on peoples faces when I give them as gifts. I still have the first one I ever made on a shelf … that one’s mine!
Contgratulations on your wonderful blog - I visit every evening! Big hugs!

I like to make coaster picture frames with magnets on the back, so they can hang on a file cabinet or refrigerator. They make fun little gifts.

Whoa! Look at how many responses you have already! We love your blog!
My favorite non-card project is the little cans because they are so easy to alter! and they are so adorable! In fact, I’ll go make some right now.

Thanks,

Alison

Fabulous candy!!! My favourite non-card item to make are books…star books, mini books, paperbag books…the list is endless. I’m not sure why I love them so much, but they are always fun to make!

Oh my, Trudee, that is an awesome gift! As I have said previously, you do such great work and I just love to receive your news each day! I do so many items with patterned paper and stamping that it is hard to pick a favorite but I think at the moment it is doing the name frames where I stamp the names, cut out, layer, and use patterned bg paper. Then I add stamped pics to personalize that name (horses, deer, trucks, etc) and also add some fun clips, ribbon, etc. I sell a lot of these during this time of year. It challenges me to see what I can come up with when the person says they want “horses” etc. I have a couple in my gallery on SCS. Have a great day and can’t wait to see who wins!

Wow! Congratulations on the hits! I know your blog is a favourite of mine. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to post your blog and share your lovely creations!

Right now I’m really enjoying making the SU On Board Art Journals. Those are so much fun to do.

Congratulations on so many hits. Unbelievable! Must be because you have a great blog.

I love making mini albums for my family and friends. I’m working on an altered notebook for a co-worker that will soon be a grandmother. I love the response I get when I give one of my creations away. Your blog is so inspirational. Thanks!

Congratulations! I so envy someone with many ideas. I seem to struggle to generate even one original project. It’s so hard to let go of the idea of a “right” answer and just do something. I love your blog. That’s for sharing with us.

I enjoy making containers that can hold a small gift..whether it be mini bags or boxes. It makes it almost like giving 2 gifts in one:))

The giveaway is AWESOME…so many of those items are on my wish list:)

Hey Trudee! I LOVE your blog and visit just about every day….even when I’m supposed to be working … sshhhhh!!! ;o) My favorite thing to alter would be jars/bottles …salsa jars, pickles jars, frapp bottles, etc. It’s so easy to dress them up and throw in some kisses or other candies. They always get a big reaction and big smiles from their recipients!! Which, after all, is the reason we give!!! Thanx for the inspiration and sharing!!

My favorite project is making mini chipboard albums for friends and family. They love keepsakes of their children and loved ones and i love making them so happy. They will have these small gifts forever. Great blog…keep all of the wonderful ideas coming!

Welll first off let me wipe this drool of my chin because that is some really awesome goodies. I’m a paper addict and you put up that yummie new BG paper.. You ask what is our other fav. non-card project WELLLL lets see I love to alter everything! I am really new to stamping which I am learning to mix the 2 now and finding it soo much fun, but my fav. thing to alter is Comp. notebooks, I also like to make journals w/ my BIA, Tin boxes (Hint, hint) I like to dress up my gift pkgs. when I give them so I take a reg. paper gift bag and dress it up so whoever is getting goodies from me will have double the fun…;)

Whoever wins these goodies is going to be one lucky person and its so awesome of you to celebrate all your bloggie love (yeah my word for it! lol) with this wonderful giveaway! Congrats again!

Ellie

Fantastic blog candy! My favorite non-card project is decorating hand made journals.

What FABULOUS blog candy! CONGRATS on the hits and anniversary!!!
I LOVE making mini albums as gifts.

What fabulous blog candy!! My favorite non card project is to make little boxes or folders that hold a few pieces of mini candy bars. They are fun to make for Valentines, Halloween, place cards, party favors or any other occasion when you want a small gift.

My favorite projects are things to decorate the dinner table whether it be a candle , centerpiece. place card , even a small stamped paper napkin rings. the dinner table is a special place where we can be a family and talk and share ideas. Little decorations make it all the more pleasureable and help set the mood that this is a time to be together and be there for each other.

OMG!!!!!! What amazing blog candy. How GENEROUS are you? I love altered tins. Right now I am loving the nugget boxes and plan on making some for Christmas for family. I would just scream with glee if I am picked. lol! (I really would) -Samantha

Holy cow! You ROCK!

OK, right now I love altering things - picture frames and tins especially. Sooo much fun!

Hi! Love your blog, and what great treats! I’ve enjoyed doing the little mini albums out of the CD\Literature Folders. They make great baby gifts. I also like doing any box\bag\container that makes up pretty quick. You know, something that holds some little something else.

Congratulations on such an amazing blog! I love reading about your projects everyday.

I love to alter photo frames. In fact, I like to make a gift set of a frame and a handmade brag book or journal. And designer paper is my favorite obsession!

Thanks,
Lisa

Holy Cajoly Batgirl. I can not believe how GENEROUS you are being with us stalkers. So my favorite non-card item would probably be making mobiles. I fold paper cranes and then hang them from wires. Have a great day!
Misty

Hi Trudee, Love your blog and am trying to resist the constant temptation to get the
Copic markers. Aside from cards, which really are my favorite, making books or journals are how I would spend my time. With all the gorgeous papers, ribbons, brads, eyelets and stamps, there is no end to what you can create. Fun, fun, fun!!!

I love to see some scrapbook layouts in your style!!! Thanks T

Congratulations on 175K. I am no expert, so I am enjoying seeing tutorials on things, and tried a few little gift boxes this week for Halloween treats. I have not seen one item of your sweet candy, but it all looks so amazing. Thank You. :)

Trudee: I hope I win!! I read your blog religiously and am inspired daily! THanks for the great give-away! YAY!

Ok…I LOVE to alter cigar boxes. I cannot tell you how fun I find it! I even got my three daughters hooked on altering them! We use them for everything - to hold money, important notes, tickets, trinkets…you name it, we use a cigar box for it! Such fun!!!

My favorite projects other than cards is jewelry.

Trudee, your blog ROCKS!!!
I love to alter frames… all shapes and sizes! Of course it helps that there is so much delicious paper out there to use! lol

Of course I’d like to say scrapbook pages, but I hardly do any these days. I think I’ll have to say I love altering containers of any sort. Tins, cans, boxes, bags….

I have the best time altering clipboards. I like to personalize them for the recipient with fabulous Basic Grey papers, lots of fibers and ribbons and their name.
Love, Love your blog, Trudee… you are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!
Julia Diane

Congrats on the milestone! So far, my favorite non-card is tiles. I stamped a “few” for gifts last holiday season, and everyone loved them. I just altered my first clipboard - I have a feeling there will be more. I also have a few lunch tins screaming to have their plain white altered.

Congratulations!

My girlfriend and I are enjoying the Bind-it-All right now and thinking of all the books we can make. i’m enjoying prepping the variou covers for them and have even done a few fan fold mini albums with coasters. Frankly, I’m enjoying altering anything - think I’m better at that than stamping/creating cards. :D

Congrats on the big milestone! Wow! I’m a “newbie” so I haven’t altered much except picture frames, but I would really like to alter some small books and make them into scrapbooks or other forms of keepsakes.

Shawn K.

Congrats on all the hits! I love photography the most. But making jewellery and altered art comes close:)

I like to alter chipboard books! Smaller ones for smaller scrapbooks! Congrats on 175,000 hits!

I recently had fun making etched glass coasters using versamark, heat embossing my images and applying etching cream. They were simple and gorgeous…I plan to make more!

I too am not surprised with the # of hits nor the compliments…you are a great inspiration. You are an awesome artist :) I’ve been getting so many ideas form your blog.
My previous art was not as inspiring to me…perhaps stuck in a rut–and now, I am inspired and pysched to do ornaments and nugget tins for Christmas gifts. You’ve given me some great ideas.

L-O-V-E the blog candy–am drooling over it…really, I am!! I had oral surgery today, stiches, swelling, ice packs, etc….and feelin kinda crappy- but now–much better :)

Thanks for the chance to win! (pleeeeeeeeease pick me) :D

Congratulations on your hits! We all love you! As far as non-card items, I love to see scrapbook pages and altered books.

Heather L.

My fav at this time is altering cigar boxes - I did a square one with an Egypt theme that was soo much fun!!! But I saw some Xmas ornaments done with the TK stamps from CHF that may be my next favorite….

Currently I’m making a variety of holiday gift tags and giving them as sets…easy to make in large quanities.

What fantastic blog candy! Thank you for your generosity. So, my latest, favorite non-card creation would have to be name frames. I’ve made 4 so far and they’re just so fun and really allow me to stretch my creativity. And unlike a card that gets displayed, then filed (or worse, tossed!), the name frame gets displayed for a long, long time (hopefully, if I’m on my game:)!

Wow, Trudee! Congrats on those hits. And those goodies….I want that stamp set so very much. If I don’t get picked, I just might have to break down and buy one myself.

I really anything alterable. I just did a picture frame for the first time and really liked that.

Thanks for the chance.

Congratulations! I love looking at all your fabulous creations! My favorite non-card item to make would be the little notebooks with ribbons. I also loved the coaster boxes but thought they were a pain to make. Christmas tags and gift bags are some of my favorites, too.

Good golly, Trudee - that is quite the haul in TREATS! Makes a girl swoon~
Anyway, I love you blog :) And my favorite projects are anything *made* of paper. I don’t seem to be very good at the “altering” kind of projects. I am intruiged by any kind of box or bag or creation made of folded paper!

WOW@!! 175,000? Who woulda thunk it? Seems like just yesterday, I was saying, ‘what’s a blog?’ Good for you. I really am enjoying altering journals, esp. composition books and also spiral journals. Thanks for asking.

I have made ceramic tile coasters I love…my favorite being a picture of my dog Scooby printed on tissue and modge podged to the surface. Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.

I’m currently making altered tins for my golf club. I also enjoy making mini-albums out of the chip board. Your blog candy is awesome - it would be such a thrill to win!

It has to be tins…I just bought some and am going to make wrappers for the nuggets..I have everything bought except the nuggets…I am going to make some thanksgiving treats for family…I know they will love them.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter this giveaway…Love your blog..it is in my Google Reader..so I do not miss out. Hugs, Dee (OkieDee)

Mary : )

Now those are some awesome goodies! Lately my favorite non-card things to make are Christmas ornaments.

I love the pinecone balls that were popular last year and I’ve taught several people how to make origami stars out of paper ribbon -they look very festive grouped together in a bowl or hung on a tree. I also have a great time making the glitter ball ornaments. Ho Ho Ho.
Darcy

Yowzers that’s a lot of posts! My favorite thing to make, non-card wise right now is goodie bags for my kid’s classmates. I loved using that spider from Booglie Eyes and putting wiggle eyes on them. I even made DH cut the pencils down to be shorter so they would fit into the little cello bags I used. I made 50 of them and can’t wait til party day next week.
Thanks for the goodie chance. It’s a fantabulous prize!

I love making holiday ornaments and tags! Especially right now, as I gear up for the holiday season and try to get ahead in all my crafting projects!

I have really gotten into book binding - making journals and art journals - I am loving it.
http://justdi.typepad.com/just_di/

I like to make gift bags, explosion boxes, tags, etc. to make the presentation of a gift a little more special.

Angie

My favorite projects right now are altering tins thanks to Paper Trey! I have become addicted to the little things and dream about ways to play with them! I would love to win another tin to decorate. Being this far down the list is not a good sign though….

Dawn

I love making candy tins into treasure tins. So much fun and so versatile. Congratulations on such a popular blog.

I love to make Flip-Flop books - those 6 x 6 accordian type mini scrap books. They make wonderful gifts. I also like making tumbled tile coasters. They are also such beautiful, inexpensive gifts.

My favourite things to alter are clipboards! I find I have so many uses for them, that when I see a blank, unaltered clipboard, I just need to cover it! I’ve done the following things with them:

Magnetic clipboard for my fridge to hold notes from my son’s school
Christmas wish-list
Clipboard for my own forms etc for the wall near my computer
and recently- I just made an Advent Calendar for Christmas.

So there!! that’s my fav thing to alter.

tobi!

I love to make altered frames and ….. hatboxes! With all the beautiful paper and embellishments out there - who needs to make hatboxes with fabric? (which is what I used to do).

Congrats on your milestones - I love this site!

Wow! I think I’m like 366 or something!! That in itself is incredible! I love to alter tins. Paint cans, treat tins, altoid tins ect. I love your work and look forward to visiting your blog everyday!

holy cow that is alot of hits to a girl’s blog, and you are only getting better. personally I love your cards and get tons of inspiration there, but if I had to pick something else, it would be things I can make and give away as gifts that have that WOW factor. thanks for all the hard work on your end Jenn

Your site is just great - thank you for all the inspiration. I have only done the altered fruit cups for Christmas, oh and made a couple easy gift bags. I can’t wait to see what you may be putting on your site for ideas. Thanks for all that you do! Malinda

I have enjoyed your sight for awhile, keep up the GREAT WORK.

I guess what I have made most of is the beaded pens. Lately though, anything made with pretty paper gives me a smile.

Hi Trudee:

What great blog candy that you are giving away. Sure will make a great gift indeed.

My other favorite craft is doing foils. Pictures that you just scrap away and they become beautiful. Alot of work but well worth it.

Happy Anniversary. Cool treats too.
My favorite non card projects has to be scrapbooking. I use love all the mini book ideas out there. Great gift ideas too.

Congrats, Trudee! My absolute fav. thing to make, non-card, is a mini album. I love giving things, and these are easy to make personal and unique. Thanks for your generosity, and talent. Someone will be very happy!

My favorite non-card project is to alter things that I find around the house. Empty jars, Prima flower bottles, anything that I can get my hands on, really.

Love your gift celebrating your milestone! So many visits! Congratulations! I would love to do an altered clipboard and things that can be given as gifts, like for friends, my little girl friends and teachers.

Well, right now I am doing a Breast Cancer Walk album for my fantastic friend who walked in the 60 kilometer walk for Breast cancer in Toronto, Ontario in September!! She took lots and lots of pictures, (even of her MANY blisters!) knowing she was going to ask me to do it and I feel very humbled to be able to help her preserve her memories of that emotional walk.

I also did an album for her daughter who went to Europe and that was challenging since I have never been to Europe and was not sure how to approach it, but she loved it, so that took that pressure off!!

I love to do scrapbooking, But anything that has to do with stamps is good. SO making things like toys or anything for my kids with the stamps also is a favorit. But for now scrapbooking is taking most of my time on top of my bussines and my kids.. that about what I get done.

I love you page its really nice.

Whoa! Congrats! Your blog and your talent are amazing, I try to visit daily!

My favorite non card project…SCRAPBOOKING!!!

I love making mini scrap albums about my baby girls (2 Chihuahuas). I make a Halloween, Christmas, fall, etc. All of the holidays and any other reason I can think of. I also make ATC’s. Trudee keep cranking them out! (he-he) I can make the day without Follow Your Bliss….. Heart, LoriE.

I have only done one so far but I altered a small domino and made it into a Christmas pin, it was fun and challenging at the same time to work in such a small space!

What a fabulous site! I enjoy visiting here aften. Nice to know I’m part of the 175K!!

I think my favorite non-card thing is the card tins. I love making them and filling them with cards and giving them as gifts. It’s like playing dress-up, only with paper!

Again, congrats on having such success with your blog!

Cathy Green

Congrats on your anniversary!!! I try to stop by every day. Lots to inspite me here! The thing I love working on at the moment is tiles. I love making coaster sets. These make such GREAT gifts. Thanks for the oppertunity to win.

Congratz Trudee! My favorite craft aside from stamping would be collages! Recently I made a collage for my best friend who was getting married. I took old pictures from growing up to trips we’ve taken to evenings out. I then arranged them on an album cover. Now she has a beautiful album with a cover she can never forget!

I love Gina’s Make a wish. This would make my day!! Congrats to your hits! I love to make reciepe books right now. They are so much fun. Thanks for the chance!

WOWSERS! This has got to be one of the best candies ever! I love making desk sets and I love making the name frames! Alterables is my favorite thing to do!

Congrats on the blog hits! What an incredible giveaway. I like making calendars (both regular and advent). For gifts, I like to make the advent/countdown calendars, especially for Christmas and Halloween. With all the choices in DP, stamps and embellishments, almost every project is unique. Thanks for the chance to win!

First off, I love your blog. Thank you for all of your sharing!!

Right now, my favorite project is making the transparency ornaments.

Hi Trudee, I read your blog almost every day and love your projects! Other than cards, I tend to make lots of mini scrapbook gift photo books for family & friends. They are usually made with paper bags, file folders or chipboard in different sizes and hold 12-40 photos. I think of them as lots of cards in one place! A close second would be different ways to give candy as mini-gifts, usually for thank yous! Thanks for the blog candy!

I love altering all things, I love lunch tins and paint cans but my fav I think are lunch bag books, they make such good presents. Your blog is great and your give away is outstanding. You’re very generous. Love your cards!

wow!! so congratulations on the success of your blog!! i absolutely love it and i lurk here quite often!! my favorite papercrafted things to make besides cards would be anything “gifty” or anything to put “treats” in==boxes, bags, tins==i will look for ways to alter just about anything. right now, i’m trying to come up with something for nestle quick containers…they seem perfect for a set of cards to go into!! only problem is, they are yellow…gotta alter it big time!

Wow, what great candy! A perfect complement to your AWESOME blog. Congrats on your success.

I love to make personalized gifts, especially for weddings and babies. I’m currently playing with the ‘Name Frames’ I’ve seen on several blogs and have also personalized terra cotta pots for baby gifts (I paint them in gender appropriate colors, modge podge stickers, stamped images, etc. along with a photo of the baby and the ’stats’. I fill the pot with baby essentials (lotion, powder, wash cloths, etc.) and of course make a matching card.

mmmmmmmm OMG you are so awesome to be giving away such a huge amount of candy and I’m so glad I found you thru Allison list of blog candy! Thank you so very much Allison!

I would have to say one of my favorite non-card projects is to cover candy bars making them look like Santas.

Here’s my trio:

Wow! What a prize! I really like making things I can display in my home with my kids pictures on them. At my LSS, I just made a Halloween wall hanging using Basic Grey book plates. It came out great!!

Hi Trudee! My favorite non-card craft would be the coaster boxes. I love making these and giving them to friends and family. I love to see their excitement in something I made!

Congrats on 175k! My favorite non-card projects right now are boxes or bags of all sorts. I love the 2-5-7-10 boxes, small gift boxes and tote bags. Easy and so fun to make!

TRUDEE,
I CAN’T SEEM TO MAKE ENOUGH DECORATIONS FOR THE HOLIDAYS. I HAVE HALLOWEEN BANNERS, CHRISTMAS ACRYLIC FLIP PHOTO FRAMES, VOTIVE CUPS, CHIPBOARD TREES, LEAVES, AND HOUSES ALL ALTERED WITH MY STAMPING AND SCRAPBOOKING SUPPLIES, READY FOR THE UPCOMING MONTHS. I’M CURRENTLY MAKING PLACE CARDS, CENTERPIECE, AND TREAT BASKETS FOR THE THANKSGIVING TABLE.
SARAH J.

Wowzers! Congrats to you! I really enjoy making non-card trinkets … and my favorite is probably just altering simple notebooks and stuff like that. Thanks!

Wow! What a lot of replies!! Your work is just beautiful!
My favorite non-card thing to do is name frames. I’ve made myself a little business doing it and it’s fun to see what I can come up with each time!

Hi Trudee!

First, I’m a Trudi too! Probably my MOST rewarding and first love of papercrafting is to do 12×12 scrapbook pages. That little hobby introduced me to stamping several years ago. Along the way, I tended to push my scrapbooking to the side and became crazy addicted to stamping cards and such…I never could figure out just who I needed to make cards for…LOL! (And I never seem to have one when I need one!) Anyhow, instead of cards, and still on the scrapbooking mode…the bitty board books are so fun and easy to make, and it doesn’t take a year to do! I’ve altered children’s board books, designed and decorated into mini scrapbooks too. Another quick fun item to alter is memo/journal books. Next vacation, I’m bringing one, so I can “journal” the vacation to match the pics when I ever get to the scrapbook again! I’m now back to scrapbooking big time, and once again…loving every minute of it! (Recipe scrapbook pages are probably my all-time fave)

Congrats on the hits!

Trudi

Congratulations on reaching such a big blogging milestone! Your work never fails to inspire me. My favorite non-card project is gift-wrapping - making or embellishing the wrapping paper, making coordinating bows and tags or package add-ons, etc.

Great give-a-way Trudee! Congratulations on the success of your awesome blog! My favorite non-card item now are Christmas Ornaments. Glass, Chipboard, paper, you name it, I like em!

~Lynda

Ooooo look at all those beautiful goodies! My fingers are itching to touch them, pick me!!!

At Christmastime, I like to make gift tags and wrapping paper.

Love your blog!
I like to take recycled brown paper grocery bags and turn them into stamped gift wrap. And, they make excellent book covers for childrens books as well.

Mary Sue

WOW! Awesome candy! I wanna win! Pick Me! Pick Me! Thanks for the chance to win. I guess my favorite type of non-cards would be either coasters or card holders. Thanks again!

Congrats on such an awesome milestone Trudee! For a gal that didn’t even want to blog, you’re doing pretty well I would say. ;-)

My favorite non-card project would be altering litte mini scrapbook albums. It’s a size that I can crank out quickly yet still love the results.

Linda

Congratulations Trudee on your blog!! All those hits say something right there!
OMG!That is simply unbelievable blog candy! Super generous of you!
It’s hard to name just one but I’d say lately my favorite item to alter has been baby formula (power) cans. It’s a bigger version of the pop top cans of fruit. It allows for a bigger prize inside. With the pop top, people love the fact that it seems they are opening it for the first time! Good luck on your blog!! Look forward to continue checking out your work. It’s great!
Thanks, Melissa

OMG, what a great prize, I’ve always wanted to try GinaK stamps and everything else too! What else do I like to make….. I love altering everything, and making stationery sets. Thanks

Linda Webb

Congrat! My favorite non-card projects right now are ornaments, tumbled tiles, and tissue paper candles. Oh, you only wanted 1 didn’t you! :)

Congratulations! The Trudee treats look awesome. I like the tiles and need to learn more about setting the ink on them. Thanks.

Hi! I love to alter spiral bound watercolor paper pads. I’ve made an art journal trying out different techniques and coloring options. My favorite project right now is taking large, heavy weight package tags and folding them in half, altering them with paint and ink, sewing them together with heavy waxed thread then stamping and embellishing at will! Not expensive and loads of fun!

With all this great stuff even I might be able to make something wonderful! I haven’t ventured far from card making but… I love making treat bags and boxes for the kids at school. Sometimes I can even get my son to help which is always fun.
Thanks and congrats!

Cheese n crackers, quite a lot of posts here!! But, then, your blog is just too cool, so of course you’re going to have lots of comments! Thanks for sharing your work!

Cool, I just found your blog. My favorite thing to alter is is coasters, which by the way I am just starting working with them but am loving it so far. Otherwise it would be making and altering little boxes for gifts.
Debby
http://debbysstampinheaven.blogspot.com/

What a great group of prizes! My favorite non-card projects involve candy. Love creating or decorating containers with candies!

I probably have a snowball’s chance in you-know-where to win, but here goes…
I like altered notebooks - whether they’re address ones, inspiration ones, diaries, prayer journals or cooking notebooks - just fun ways to alter those $1 Michael’s journals!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Congrats on the upcoming 175,000 hits!! Wow…with all these comments it’s now wonder you have so many hits.

My favorite non card item would have to be scrapbook pages & mini books. Thanks for the chance to win!

I love all of your wonderful ideas. My favorite non-card item isdecorating the clear stampendous paint cans. I love coordinating the paper and the ribbon to make such a cute way to give a gift.

Congrats on the success of your blog. It’s no wonder, you have filled it with tons of inspiration. My favorite thing to do besides cards is scrapbooking. I especially like making non-traditional theme albums. Makes scrapbooking quick and easy. I also like making treat containers for co-workers on holidays and special occassions.

Thanks for your wonderful blog and a chance to win such a great giveaway.
Diane Payne

:O This is amazing blog candy!!! I have wanted to try out a ton of these things! Hope I win. :)

I enjoy making mini albums. Covering tins is also fun.

Congratulations on hitting 175k …….that is absolutely amazing. I really enjoy your blog……..and the inspiration that you give through your many cards is most appreciated.
When I am not making cards, I like to do scrapbooking……working on scrapbooks for my 6 grandchildren!!

Hi Trudee! Right now my fave is some ornaments we made with the watchmaker tins- so cute!

Thanks for the great blog candy. My fave non card project would be altering things…frames, letters, lunch boxes.

As my son would say “oh my cow!” This is serious blog candy! Congrats on 175k! Right now my fave non-card projects are tins (thanks to papertrey) & paper ornaments (to make my tree look pretty)! Thanks for the chance at the candy!
Heather Bunsey

WOW! Great stuff!! Of late my non card items have been desk top calendars and matching pens. I also like to do candy bar labels. Hope I win!

Wow Trudee! What an accomplishment! My favorite non-card project would have to be altered letters. I love what a few paper-covered letters can spell out and display. Thanks for the giveaway and congrats on the milestone!

OK, #423? Don’t think I’m going to win but here’s my answer anyways! My favorite non card project is scrapbooking. I still get to use all my goodies for card making and get some photos organized and sorted on a layout. Congratulations on so many hits! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!!

Each month I make Fight Free treats for my kids classes. The schools have a program to keep fighting out of the schools and it seems to work. I like to reward the kids for being good and not fighting, so I like to handstamp a little card, bookmark, or treat holder for them. I also bring treats and drinks for them as well. I have been doing this for either four or five years and enjoy doing it each month. I guess this would be my favorite non-card projects to make.

Pam

I love to make little mini-books. This giveaway is fabulous! :)

I love to make Christmas tags sets, nugget boxes , and paint cans full of cookies…..

wow, Truedee…you rock!! My fave project is the new little see through tins and covered up nuggets! I think they make the cutest little gifts! Good luck with the blog and start thinking about the 200K..you’ll be there quickly!

I really love to make scapbooks with chipboard and a bind it machine. Thanks for doing this. As a really new blogger, I am so impressed with yours! Something to aspire to! :)

I love seeing all the altered items & I am forever saying that I’m going to try making all of them. But alas the only altered items I have tried are candles with stamped stamped tissue paper. I must start altering all these things I keep buying & never get around to doing.

Congratulations on this milestone! I have had a lot of fun recently with the lunch tins and filling those with cards and little “band aid” tins for smaller treats. I have also made, well, literally hundreds of what I call “chocolate books” or tea books. Anyone that knows me has at some point been given several of these. I haven’t yet ordered any of those cute food tins with the clear opening, but plan to for some holiday treats for friends, family and neighbors. Thanks for all the great art and inspiration on your blog!

Trudee,

Your blog is truly one of my favorites, so I am not surprised at all that you have reached this milestone! Congratulations!

I love altering items, but probably spend more time thinking about what I want to alter more than actually doing it. A favorite of mine is the rectangular ‘lunch pail’–so many things can go in this for a gift item, and they can be tailored to fit different interests and age groups. I’m just now learning to love the tile coasters as well, and of course, altering journals is great fun!

I am new to cardmaking and enjoy looking at all the talented artists that share their craft with others through their blogs. You have created some beautiful cards and have a very readable blog. I do a lot of altered art and have been making many mini-books for gifts. Thanks so much for having a great blog!

Oh, wow! What an accomplishment — and WHAT a celebratory prize package! Fingers crossed (so tight!)!! :)

Favorite non-card project… Hard to choose, but I have to say scrapbooks or mini albums. Harder to stay caught up with these projects — and harder to say “Done!”…

Hi, trudee! :) Love your blog! And what a giveaway, oh my! My favorite type of non-card project would have to be handmade journals, or altered books. Thanks for a shot at the prize. Have a great day!

Wow, your blog is amazing! Your cards have inspired me on numerous occasions. My latest non card project is creating accordian memory books by covering with coordinating papers, inks, primas, buttons, ribbons and hardware. I just finished a black and white book for my cousin who is getting married this weekend!
Keep you delicious work coming!

The only thing I have done was a mask for my grandchild for a rather fancy masquerade party. I purchased a simple eye mask at JoAnns–then wandered around trying to figure out what to do with it. I ended up buying a strip of sequeins, which I adheared to the mask with glue dots, then I punched a hole and added a 3 layer prima flower (to match her dress) with a silver star brad and used the tails of the brad and more glue dots to secures long thin feathers to the one side. It turned out so outstanding and I was so thankful that I had taken up stamping and knew about glue dots, primas and brads or I would not have had a clue of how to decorate that mask for her. Let me tell you this was one happy grandma with such a pleased granddaughter.
Laurie

Wow, look at all those amazing goodies! I love your blog, so inspiring, congrats! I love making cd calendars, they make great year round gifts. Now I want to try those fabulous nugget tins, so many great ideas out there.

You have only been blogging for 7 months and have 175,000 hits? That HAS to be some kind of record!!! Congrats on your highly successful blog. I love stamping on candles or baking homemade items and making cute labels for them.

Trudee, love your blog and I visit every day!!! Congrats on the 175K hits — you must be doing something right!! My favorite type of non-card project is making small journals and altering tins. Great job on your blog and I’m sure it will continue this strong pace for some time to come.

Omg. I love to alter anything. I mean, I make cards all the time, but I love altering things for gifts. Right now, I’ve a new favorite project. I just bought a whole pile of small exercise books (72 pgs, also known as scribblers, composition books, etc.) and I’ve been making them into recipe books (for people to write their own recipes in). I’ve been covering the covers and decorating them, then adding tabs inside for different types of recipes, and stamping each page with “Bon Appetit” (you’d think after stamping it so many times I’d remember how to spell it!). This is now my new favorite project cause they are turning out better than I could even hope for!
Anyway… this is super awesome blog candy. Thanks so much for the opportunity.

My favourite alterable object is the coasters. I think they are so verstatile and you can do so many things with them. They always look great. Congratulations on 175,000 hits in only 7 months - WOW!!
Thanks again

Do tags count as non-cards? I can’t give a gift now, even the simplest thing, without wrapping it in a cute bag with a cute tag on it. Tiles are fun to alter too.

Dina

My 2 favorite non-card project is marble tile coasters and glass marble magnets. The coasters look so classy and are easy to do (not to mention useful!), and the magnets are just too much fun and are so cute and everyone loves them! I’ve done plenty of 3-D projects, but these two classics are by far my faves.

You know you’ve got a huge readership when your hits are over 175K in only 7 months!!!! and the number of comments on your blog candy is over 440!!! A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!!

Non card things I like to make are boxes. Who knows why but I have a thing for boxes!

You weren’t wrong about saying that your blog candy is fabulous! I am blown away by how generous you are :)

Mostly I just want to add a comment here to let you know I love reading your blog and seeing all of your gorgeous creations. You are a true inspiration to me.

~Tracy

I check your blog out every day, what a great site. My favorite non card item to make is journals. I think they are so much fun to make.

Wow, Trudee! 175,000, plus what got stuck on here. Soooo many familiar names going by. Right above me is my Aussie buddy who turned me on to your blog candy. Hi, Tracy! Her blog is great, too.

So many things I make, hard to pick just one! I loves boxes, stationery sets, Christmas ornaments and stamping on candles. Made a bunch of the latter for Christmas last year. Just bought a fancy can opener that leaves smooth edges, so maybe altering tin cans will be my next big thing!

Great blog candy! Pick me, pick me!

Kathy

Great blog and unbelievable candy!!! My fav right now(today, anyway!) is to alter cheap Wal-Mart journals!!! I keep having ideas for new ones and Wal-Mart is sold out!!!!!

Pamm

wow what amazing candy!!!!! i like altering tins. i like using them for all different kinds of gifts.
thanks for the chance at such awesome candy!

Now those are some goodies! I think my favorite thing is altering things that will sit out in my house, so maybe picture frames? I just love that they sit out, are useful, and make my house homier. (Is that even a word?? lol) Congrats on the big number!

Wow! What a give-away! I make mostly cards, but I like to alter Altoid tins to make gift card holders and Christmas ornaments. I also like making little specialty boxes and altering composition notebooks.

Thanks for this opportunity.

Congratulations Trudee!! Well deserved - your blog is great!! Very inspiring!
Those are some jaw dropping treats that you are offering too! : ) Thanks for the chance!
I would say my latest favorites to alter are candles & the mini composition books with a matching pen. Thanks for all you do! Your in my favorites so I’ll be visiting often : )
Best of luck to you in all you do!
Missy

ooo, this is way too generous, but I’ll take it if I win! I love to alter tins. I really just started getting to these, but I love how they turn out. I swear it is amazing what a little designer paper and ribbon can to do a plaing ol’ silver tin.

congratulations!! i just LOVE your blog and i enjoy visiting daily. these days i have discovered altering frames and i can’t get enough of it. i bought a bunch of target frames and michael’s wood frames and i am having so much fun.

thanks for sharing with us and for the chance to win such GReAT candy! :)

Congratulations!!! I love all your work!!
My favorite would probobly be altering picture frames! I love using different dp and stuff to decorate an old boring frame!!
Congrats again! Great Candy!!
=) - Lauren

Non-card project? I want to embellish dominoes with alcohol inks and make them
into jewelry for Christmas presents. Thanks for providing us “less-creative” souls
with such great inspiration every day on your great blog, which I so enjoy.

Cool Treats! I like altering little boxes and tins…I’m pretty new at the non-card thing myself…..but love looking at ideas others have.

I like to make Squash Books also referred to as Exploding books. They make a very thoughtful gift when they include pictures. I also like to alter things with handles like paint buckets and lunch tins. I think it has something to do with my ribbon fetish.

Wowza! Awesome blog candy!

My favorite Non-Card making paper craft items are boxes, I love making and placing gifts in hand made boxes!

Thanks for the terrific blog and all your awesome ideas that you share with us! It is appreciated.

My favorite non-card paper project is tins. I had a card party at my house and made 23 card tins using Alcohol ink, ribbon, paper, chip board, embellies - they were beautiful and I get a kick today seeing my friends carry them to card related functions more than a year later. For a friends wedding I made a recipe tin and had all her friends make small scrapbook recipe cards for her… great gift idea.

Love your blog! And you are giving away fab treats… Who knows maybe I will be the lucky one!

I love your blog. My favorite projects right now are tile coasters and chipboard poster books.

Congratulations on your blog success. I find so much inspiration in your work — thank you for sharing it with us! While I do like to alter lunch tins, altoid tins, etc, my favorite non-card items are handmade boxes, like 2-4-6-8 or 3-5-7-10 boxes, or even simple treat pouches. The card totes are super easy and fun too!

Hi,
I love gift sets - you know, a set of cards, a matching notebook, pen, covered notebook - that sort of thing!

Congratulations on nearing 175,000 hits!

Connie

Oh my goodness… this post alone is going to get you well along to your next major number of hits.

Almost five hundred comments. Way to go.

My favourite types of off the page are things that are REALLY practical or usable. Doesn’t matter exactly what it is, but if it has a real purpose I love it.

I would have to say that silk scarves have been a favorite of mine. I once stamped over 100 scarves to hand out at church on mothers day, and they all loved them. It is so much fun to see your creation on people when you run into them somewhere (that’s how I know they really did like them!);)
Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome blog candy!

Wow! Only seven months blogging and 175,000 posts?! That’s amazing!!! But, well deserved….I love visiting your blog! Other than cards, I love to scrapbook. I started stamping in the mid 90s and had taken quite a hiatus, but scrapping brought me back to stamping. And now, there isn’t a surface that isn’t stampable!!

I have been making calendars lately and I like them a lot so right now that is my favorite non-card project. A few months ago I was digging altered tins so I am kind of fickle.

Here are links to two calendars I have made recently:
http://stampingpsycho.blogspot.com/2007/09/cd-calendar.html

thanks for the chance,

HUGS

My favorite type of non-card project is scrapbooking - individual pages and theme albums.

I even want to start incorporating stamping into scrapping!!

Aloha,
First of all, Congrats on your OMG 175k milestone! Good for you!
My favorite non-card projects…. I like to take 3 inch wooden alphabets and trace them on to patterned paper and cut them out and glue them onto the tops of the alphabets and hot glue a magnet on the back of each. I usually spell out a childs name and also add a magnet to a few other wooden figures. These are gifts for the little ones to learn how to spell their names and add some visuals on the refrigerator…. the “learning” refrigerator magnets!
Thank you for the chance to win……I wanna WIN!!!
Adoree

Your blog site is my first visit every day. Thanks for always upating EVERYDAY. My favorite non card project is altered tins.

Hi Trudee: Enjoy your blog. I have been stamping for about 2 years but have yet to do anything but cards. Altering things intimidates me. mostly because i fear it will look home-made rather then hand-crafted KWIM?? What a great giveaway. My 39th bday is the 28th so what a great birthday gift this would be *HEE HEE*. Take care!

Congratulations Trudee and thank you for keeping up your wonderful blog!!!

I’m on an altered clip board kick for a while now, so that would be my current fav.

Thanks! Karen U

I love all of your creations! Your cards are fabulous! I love making mini scrapbooks out of paperbags, coasters, tags, etc!

First time vistor at your site and will continue.. Love your places to shop and your cards are beautiful.. My favorite altered item..I enjoy them all but, one would be making small books using my Bind It All.. I make address books, calandars, receipe books, etc…great little gifts.

Holy cow! That’s a lot of candy, and a lot of responses already — 475??!! My favorite non-card item of the moment is the coaster book. I just finished my first one and it came out so cute. It was supposed to be for a school raffle, but I liked it so much I decided to keep it!

Wow! Trudee….awesome that you’ve reached that number in such a short time. YOU are a STARRRRRRRRR! Now the shameless part….pick me..uh, pick me, pick me, pick me, pick me! Congrats girlie!
Leigh

I love, love, love making any kind of project that holds CHOCOLATE!!! (those who know me and/or read my blog are probably…cough…not going to be…cough, cough…surprised at all by this revelation. ;-) So lately I love nugget tins! Pick me! Pick me!

And congrats on the hits, you deserve them!

Hey Tru, GREAT candy! I can’t believe all the responses, you are one popular gal!

My fav non-card project at the moment is Coaster Books and 3,5,7,10 baskets (not the boxes like Jenn B’s toot) but my lopped of version.

*mwah* to you!

I love your work! My favorite thing to do other than cards would be coming up with great pictures and blowing them up on a canvas and designing on the canvas like a scrapbook page. They make great gifts…

I looooooove everything that you do! :c) Thanks for teh chance for some awesome goodies!

My favorite non card project would probably be candles and frames, especially as gift sets together.

Congrats on the hits … You’re doing great, keep it up!
My favorite non card project is making boxes and coaster mini books.
Thanks for the grand giveaway.

Congrats on the milestone! Yours was the first blog I subscribed to and really love it!! As for a fav non-card project, well I only scrap and make cards, so I would have to say scrapbooking. I haven’t branched out much, but I did one tooth fairy box (altoid tin). It looks great, but hard to do. Thanks for the AMAZING treats -hope my number is picked!! Hugs,

My favorite thing to make besides cards is calendars for Christmas gifts. They are alsways so treasured by the receiver. Thanks for the awesome blog candy opportunity!

Here’s my answer:

I don’t have one! I just started stamping a few months ago. I have done one scrapbook page, though - does that count?

-Nancy Ann

Hi, Trudee! Love your blog and your SCS gallery. I have lots of favorite non-card projects, but my most recent is the tic-tac holder. If you haven’t seen it, I found a great tutorial on Angie Kennedy Juda’s blog, Chic ‘N Scratch: http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/chic_n_scratch/2007/09/tic-tac-tutoria.html. Congrats on the popularity of your site and thanks for sharing what you do.
- Kim

I recently bought a Bind It All–so I’m hoping to start making some little Coaster Books and Journals!!! :-)

I love that you always show a picture of the Copics that you use in your projects–cause “thanks to you” and Ellen Hudson–I’m a proud new owner of a couple of sets–oh–and lets not forget the glitter pens!!!

Thanks for all your “inspiring” projects!!! So many fun new things to learn!!!

KJ aka Kathy Johnson

I love your work. Everything you do is so creative. I check your site regularly for ideas.
My favorite non-card has to be the bag toppers. I make these for almost any occasion and fill with appropriate goodies. Everyone loves them.

Thank you for the chance of winning some blog candy.

What a cool candy!!!
I love minibooks, altered books and scrapbooking Layouts…..

Thanks for the chance to win
hugs
Marcia

Right now I’m loving any and all altered items with the holidays coming up. I just decorated my first giant clothespin and it was so fun. Thanks for having your blog. Your work is so inspirational.

I really like food gifts with a small tag or belly band around loafs, etc.

Wow!!! 175,00 Hits :-) What a popular stamper you are! My fav. non card projects are bookmarks and any style of gift boxes and bags. Congratulations again Trudee and keep your beautiful creations coming!

You’re a popular blogger! Lately I’m on a mission to alter every empty plastic lego container my kids have left behind in the past 10 years. I’m covering them in designer papers and giving them new life as pencil/pen holders. Easy to do and I get all those empty containers out from under my sons’ beds to boot!

I love making altered projects. I like more of the “useful” type; i.e the larger size paint cans or cigar boxes more than the little tins. I love altering letters for home decor, too.
Thanks for having the great giveaway - your blog is awesome!
Sarah

Hiya Trudee!! LOVE your blog! You do really beautiful work! My favorite non card projects lately have been paper bag albums using brown paper lunch bags! They offer so many possibilities! Fun, fun, fun!! Thanks for sharing your projects with us! Have a great day!

What awesome candy……..although the number of hits does not surprise me since your site is such an inspiration. I’m always looking for ideas for simple teacher gifts (my son has 3 plus the office staff) and ideas I can teach in my workshops. I love to visit your site as you have so many wonderful ideas. Thanks for being so creative and generous.
karen

Love your blog, very inspiring. With a child in 1st grade the 2, 5, 7, and 10 boxes are easy to do and fast to decorate.

Wow! What a great way to celebrate your success! I like to reuse containers and packaging. Remember that article in Papercrafts a few months ago? I keep a lot of things to re-purpose rather than throw them away.

Thanks for sharing so much of what you do! :0) Kamie

Love all your projects and appreciate that you share..even the measurements…Thank You!!
I am just a craft loving person..I love working with the tins..
soup cans..large tuna or chicken cans. Baby food jars..and the plastic ones too.

Thanks so much for sharing your success with all of us!

I’m really into small 6X6 scrap books, and also squash books designed to capture
a special occasion in the life of my family.

For Christmas, I will also be decorating small jars of my homemade muscadine jelly.
These go to all the folks my hubby and I work with. It is so easy to pretty them up with Christmas DSP!

Imogene

I’m new to your blog…I love it! I’m open to all kinds of projects, however, I would love to see some projects that use photos. I have a precious granddaughter that I can’t have too many pics of and having a variety of ways to display is even better!!!

Thanks again for all your work to encourage us to case & create!!

Trudee, I love your blog and have moved it to the top of my favs! I am pretty much a straight card making kinda gal, but I do like altered frames and coaster albums. Thanks for sharing your creativity!

Wow! What generous blog treats! I especially love to do little treat holders, whether it be made only with paper or out of altered tins, etc. There is just something that makes people smile about little treats! :)

Hi there,

I just recently found your blog from another blogger’s page. I added myself to your mailing list immediately. I love blogs. Thanks so much for sharing. I don’t have time to be too creative on my own until my kids get a little bigger so I just look and drool for the most part ;-) The altered items I have made are the stand up tins (lunch box I believe), large tiles for coasters and small tiles for magnets and mini pebbles for magnets. (I have saved many items to alter but have only had time to make a few). My favorite from what I have done are altering the lunch box tins and giving them to new moms. I make little dividers for each month then list each day on the divider card so they can keep notes of when something happens or if they took pictures what days they were and anything special they want to remember. They can organize the pictures with the dividers and have reminders of what they may want to remember when scrapbooking or just looking back. They are a hit and that is what they are so fun to make..because the mommies love them. I know I wish I had something like that when my first was born..maybe I would’ve been a little more organized with keeping track of those special moments because my “brain” book isn’t working as well as it used..lol.

Thanks for sharing your creations.

Tammy

Oh, my goodness, this is a treat! Congrats on your 7 months, yours is the one blog in my fave’s –excellent stuff! Right now my favorite altered thing would be tins. Not just gift giving tins, I am looking for ways to alter tins to hold crafting supplies and experementing with that. Congrats again!

Ok here goes. This is all so new to me, and I love viewing these incredible blogs. (never knew what one was)
I have two fat cats, Louie & Lovie, and they get treats twice a day so I have a bunch of plastic containers with lids. Some are clear (Peel off the outer wrapper) and some are colored plastic. What am I doing with these, they are being transformed into gift containers for our Halloween Dinner Wednesday night. I have purchased some beautiful ribbons to put in each one and some fabric stickers. The outside I am decorating with the typical Trick or Treat stuff. Each of us in our group will place a Treat in our Altered coffee cans, By the end of the evening we should have an altered can with something from every one there. Fun, Fun, Fun.
BTW/ The cat treat containers are shaped like a milf bottle.
Thank you for all the effort you put in your samples.

altered items! — right now I am enjoying office items — folders, calendars, etc…..helps to be organized when you “create” the organization

Trudee,

I love to collect stamps, I categorize all cancelled and I even buy collector stamps and save a couple (new) and put them in little sleeves by category ex: birds, trees, boats, presidents, flowers etc. I soak the ones off of envelopes, they peel right off, let them dry and then iron them to lay flat. I will pass these on to my two grand boys! I also crotchet and keep an afghan going for a gift I may need. Thanks and love your site and all your ideas for making cards as well. Take good care. Beverly

Look at all your replies…WOW! I would have to say my favourite non-card item project is stamping on tiles. Love your site and thanks for sharing.

My, oh my - what a load of treats! Right now my favourite projects are mini books - from folded cards with photos to mini scrapbooks. So much fun, and people love them!
