Friday Favorites!

Published by trudee at 3:30 am under Card Designs, Copic, Friday Favorites, Lockhart Stamp Co

Today’s favorite is a fairly new toy for me. I’ve been using it about a month or so, but man am I in love! It’s called Eclipse Tape, by Judikins, and you can get it in Ellen’s store HERE.

Do you use Post-it notes when you do masking? Well no need anymore! This fabulous tape is slightly sticky all over, and is thin enough so that it works seamlessly! (it’s much thinner than a post-it or printer paper) The roll is 6 inches wide, and 33 feet long. Plenty to do hundreds of masks! It works with any type of ink, paint, Copic airbrush system, pastels, markers, etc. and is so easy to cut with either paper snips, or a craft knife. (You can tear it, too for a cool effect) It can also be used for stenciling, or creating your own repositionable stickers!

You can also re-use your mask several times, as it stays slightly sticky for a long time. After I have cut my mask and use it, I simply stick it right on top of the image on my wood block. :)

Snow Family

This is a small To/From pocket tag that can be added to any gift! Take a piece of cardstock 3 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches long, and score at 2 1/2. Round all 4 corners and decorate as desired with patterned paper. The inside tag is 2 3/4 inches by 2 inches. I machine stitched my pocket together, but you could also use a very thin bead of MonoMulti. If you use sticky strip, you might need to make the tag narrower than 2 inches to fit in the pocket. (if you use the really skinny sticky strip, you will be fine, though). The patterned paper strip on the tag is 1 inch wide. My pocket is cool caribbean, and the tag is cryogen white (sponged with olive).

Patterned paper is Basic Grey Figgy Pudding 6×6 pad, The Flurry family of 3, and Copic markers used (for both projects) are:

Pumpkins for Sale…

Here’s a sweet little 4 1/4″ square card using my Spellbinders Nestabilities rectangles, and the Lockhart Itty Bitty pumpkin, masked several times to make that pile of pumpkins for sale! :D They are colored with my Copics, and then highlighted with an orange Copic Spica glitter pen.

Patterned paper is Basic Grey Mellow 6×6 pad. White taffeta SU! ribbon is custom colored with my Copic marker. Cardbase is pumpkin pie, scalloped panel is olive, focal image is cryogen white.

Thanks for checking out my Friday Favorite today! Have a great weekend!!

Be sure to scroll down if you haven’t entered my drawing yet!! :D
