Peaceful Morning
Just wanted to share a couple of shots from my house this morning. There’s about 5 inches of snow, and a little ice on top. I have always loved living in a log home, but there is something so special about living in one when in snows. Bliss. 
And a tiny little ice covered pinecone:

Oh, Trudee….I am so jealous (not really..just saying it!) My DH and I want to live in a log home when we retire…yours is so beautiful! You have inspiration for your work all around you! Thanks for sharing.

Love the pics. It’s fabulous in this area of the world today. That is as long as you can sit by the fire with coffee and not drive in the stuff.

What a beautiful, peaceful looking home. Love the snow and wooded area. None of that here, just snow covered mountains in the distance and lots of desert and wind!

Ohh, I miss the beauty of the snow! But I don’t miss the shoveling or the nostrils freezing. It would be nice to have one nice snow per year, though! Your log house in the snow is so pretty!
