Trio of Trees
Happy Monday! (lol)
I have one more design to share with you, using the Lizzie Anne Designs set In the Treetop. This card, like my previous two, also uses a paint brochure as color inspiration.
I just love these rich colors, and thought they would work well with the trees! Nothing fancy here, other than a little bit of stitching with green thread for the ground, and a border across the top. I added the sentiment as a “pennant” with some chocolate brown gingham ribbon. The trees are stamped on poison ivory cardstock, which gives a lovely shimmer!
Hope you like this simple card, today. Have a good week!
Ink: Adirondack cranberry, stream, butterscotch, espresso. Cardstock: Prism intense teal, sunflowers dark, arjo wiggings poison ivory.

Great card, great inspiration.
Darling card, Trudee! I love the colors, stitching, and sentiment banner!!
How nice Trudee….. Love, M.
Beautiful! The colors are great, and I love the stitched ground lines.
I love everything you’ve done with this set, and the paint brochures are a brilliant idea!
I am soooo loving the color inspiration! They are combos that work so well, but maybe not what I reach for, now I will!
Thanks.

Love the whimsy of this set!!!! love the colors and the card!!!! all just soo wonderful!!!
I have been watching you use colour inspiration over the past couple of days and have been remise in not telling you sooner that I think your cards are lovely. I would have never thought to use those booklets as inspiration. Unfortunately, I just can’t grasp the concept of looking at my surroundings for colour combos. I’m definately picking up some booklets on my next trip to Home Depot. This particular card combo is pure delight!!
I am really enjoying your inspiration with your cards! It is making me look at things in a different light (no pun intended!). Thanks for sharing. As always, this card is a keeper!
Wow! Love these colors together. Great simple card!
Neat color combo ideas, love the stitching!
I love how you use the paint chips to get color combo’s! These Tree’s are great and I love your sewing for the grassy area!
Great cards, Trudee, and the idea to use paint chips is brilliant! Thanks for sharing your creativity with all of us.
