Sit back & relax!
It seems like forever since I made a card! It’s been less than a week, but so much has happened that it seems like longer! Life continues to move at the speed of light, and I’m hanging on for the ride! LOL! I was drawn to this Lockhart beach chair image this morning, longing to plunk down with a cold, frosty beverage. Ahhhhhhh…..
This CHF broad stripe backgrounder was perfect with this chair! It’s stamped in Adirondack stream ink, on a PaperTrey white card base. Focal image was colored with the following Copic markers:
After cutting and embossing the oval with my Spellbinders Nestability die, I airbrushed the sky and sand, and removed the die. I chose to position this oval at an angle, to add emphasis to the “leaning back” of the chair.
I stamped the portion of the image with the bag a second time, colored it, cut it out, and popped it up on dimensional tape. Turquoise and cinnamon Stickles were added for a little bling! I found these St Martin Primas in my stash, that I got from Jacksonbelle probably a year ago? I like the tropical feel they add to the design. Speaking of Jacksonbelle, did you know that she has the newest line from Basic Grey?? It’s called Euphoria, and it’s GORGEOUS!! Go check it out!!
