Cupcake and Peaches

Published by trudee at 11:42 am under Card Designs, Copic, Lockhart Stamp Co, Spellbinders

Hi there! Happy Monday!! Why is it that the weekends *fly* by, and the weekdays go so slowly? LOL!

I created these cards yesterday using a couple of my favorite Lockhart images. I will edit in all the details later tonight, as I am running around this morning, preparing for my BIL to come for an overnight stay.

rosecupcakepurple.jpg

This one uses all 3 of Karen Lockhart’s Rose stamps: the cupcake, and two from the Millinery collection- rose embellishment, and rose ribbon. It was colored with my Copic markers, cut and and embossed with my Nestability scalloped circle, and adhered on foam dimensionals to the cardfront. The purple floral patterned paper is from Heidi Grace, and is shimmery, as well as glittered. Sentiment is a Basic Grey rub-on, and ribbon is from Michael’s. Cardbase is Prism majestic purple dark.

youre-a-peach.jpgMy next one is a small little card created with the largest tall rectangle Nestability die, and folded in half. I love this Lockhart lettuce bowl of peaches! It just screams summer to me, as does this refreshing double sided paper from Heidi Grace.

Image was colored with my Copics, and cut & embossed with a circle Nestability die. It’s mounted on dimensionals to the scalloped circle striped print, and embellished with Ranger glossy accents, and Stickles.

I hand wrote the sentiment, and added some piercing around it to draw your eye around the image. A couple Primas and some May Arts gingham complete the design!
