Published by trudee at 2:50 am under Card Designs, Copic, Lockhart Stamp Co, Spellbinders

Can you believe it? Today is the last Spellbinders Birthday Celebration sneak peek! At the end of this post you will find a copy of the official rules for the Spellbinders Birthday Celebration Sneak Peek Party Drawing for the dies I’m sharing with you today, and for a chance at the grand prize of a new raspberry Wizard and $500 worth of Spellbinders dies.

I personally think they saved the best for last, but I am a wee bit biased of these AWESOME dies! Allow me to introduce Spellbinders Pierceabilities!love

These cards use the RicRac Scalloped Pierceability die set (S4-166 with an MSRP of $19.99).

s4-166.jpg

As with all of the Spellbinder’s dies, you can cut, emboss, and stencil with these. In addition to that, they are piercing templates! Genius I tell ya! PURE GENIUS! They are also perfect for using with the Copic Airbrush system as seen here:

Are these dies not the most gorgeous things you have ever seen? Take a peek at these pocket cards I have created with these beauties:cha-s-greenredpocketclosed.jpgcha-s-greenredpocket.jpgcha-s-honeypiepocketclosed.jpg

As you can see, your possibilities are endless with these amazing Spellbinders Pierceability dies. How about making some gorgeous belly bands to wrap around a set of cards? Create a band to wrap around a candle for the perfect gift! The results are so professional, no one would believe you when you said that you handmade it!

If you already have another die-cutting machine and need to know how to use Spellbinders dies with it, check out these YouTube videos.

What fun! I love the cards you made and love the versatility of these pierceabilities (thanks for the tip about using them as a stencil with the airbrush system)… I think they are going to be among the first I purchase. Quick question if you have a minute - on the pull for the tag on the wedding card (darling idea) how did you attach the ribbon & button to the card?

These are AWSOME…..you are so right, the best for the last, although they are all fantastic. I purchased my wizard the year they first came out, it sat and sat until all the nestabilities came out, and now I use it with almost everycard; I am impatiently waiting for the release in August…your projects are just beautiful. Paper Piercing is one of my favorites, but its so hard on the hands and wrist, these dies will make it a snap.

  65. Michelle Hoger/mitch47on 13 Jul 2008 at 11:52 am

Oh perfect! More Spellbinders on my “Gotta get” list! You did an amazing job, as always with the samples, and they gave you the best ones, in my opinion. Love the piercing work, and Spellbinders makes it so professional looking.

Beautiful — these dies add just the right touch to make a simple, elegant card. I think the pierceablity dies have to be my favorite of all the new dies introduced. All members of the Spellbinders design team have done a wonderful job of highlighting the new dies and I am going to miss the daily surprise of “what’s new”.

  81. Tracieon 13 Jul 2008 at 1:08 pm

These are great. Thank you for doing examples with colored cardstock. I was not getting the warm fuzzies with the pierceabilities on the white cardstock. But you successfully resolved that issue. You do stunning work.

  82. Juanitaon 13 Jul 2008 at 1:22 pm

Whichever Spellbinders designer created these gems should run for President of the U.S.!! That kind of creative thinking is very impressing.

  94. sandyhon 13 Jul 2008 at 3:03 pm

i like the looks of these new dies, but i wish you would have done a step out on how to use them. do they really pierce all the tiny holes? do you have to turn the piece to cut the other edge? it doesn’t look like both edges cut with one pass. i’d have to see this one used (kind of like the edgeabilities).
