Greetings from Chicago!

Published by trudee at 10:21 am under CHA Photos, Just chattin'

Well hello there!

I’ve been having such an awesome time here this year! I’ll be sharing pictures of the show soon, but I wanted to share some photos from downtown with you.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to see the city with Lindsey, Michele and her family! This is such an amazing city!! I don’t have time for a lot of narration this morning, But just wanted to show you some photos from our tour of the city. We walked the Magnificent Mile, and went on a river and shore boat tour as well. FABULOUS! Hope you like the pics! Click on them to view full size.

I’ll be back soon with some yummy eye candy! :D

Chicago is a beautiful city! I was born and raised here but unfortunatley most people only think of it from the Al Capone era and all the violence instead of the beauty of the city, buildings and lake. Your photos capture it wonderfully! Glad you were able to enjoy the city.

    Trudee,

Don’t you just love Chicago? My old stomping grounds! Wish I could have made CHA this year - but it sounds as though you are having fun. Be sure to get on over to North Pier. Cheryl

So glad you’re enjoying my home town. I was born and raised on the south side (the side made infamous by Jim Croce’s song!) but now live in the Bay Area. It’s a gorgeous city, so well kept, so much to do, great restaurants, shopping and museums. AND home of the first place Chicago Cubs–my all time favorite team….what’s NOT to like about Chicago! Enjoy the rest of your time there–can’t wait to see pics of all the yummy new goodies hitting the market soon!

Great photos, Trudee! The only time I was in Chicago (Great Lakes Naval Base) was on 11/22/63, the day John Kennedy was shot. The whole city closed down, so didn’t get to see much of the city.

Enjoy the city and keep your eyes open for Oprah!
