MINIs on the Mountain Top!

I have been working a LOT and needed to break free this weekend. I have some more fun on tap today and tomorrow, but wanted to show you what I did yesterday!

I got together with several folks from our MINI Motoring group–we went to lunch, then took a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hit some rain up around 5000 ft (Mt Pisgah area), but continued on up to the highest point on the Parkway: 6053 ft. The rain stopped, and provided a cool/eerie backdrop for our fabulous MINIs.

Yesterday was one of those days when my smile went deep into my soul. I love how this little car makes you feel like a child again. Owning a MINI is not just owning a car. It’s a way of life. Dare to be different! Sharing my joy with others who feel the same way about this little car is the icing on the cake. :D

See you soon!!

Oh Wow!!! We are really wanting a mini (a red convertible which would fit in out toybox camper). We have to have a convert. as it is the only one that would fit. Right now, that is our dream. Congrats on living yours. Neat pix. We love the BRP.

What fun having a mini club! Deb

What fun! I so wish there was a group around here like that. I told Bill we should try to join in on an S2000 day trip anyway, even if we have to travel down to Ohio or Indiana to do it. I sent this blog post on to him, hoping it will motivate him. Of course, Ohio and Indiana don’t have anything like the Blue Ridge Mountains either, but I’m sure there are some scenic, winding roads. One word comes to mind when I read your blogs about you and the mini - - - - -
“contentment”. It just flows around you and you can tell you are so settled and happy in your life right now! Blessings to you!

So glad you have fun Trudee! Love that mirror photo especially. Be careful though!!!!! I imagine it’s tricky to drive and shoot at the same time! :)

I love the Blue Ridge Mountains, Trudee–siggghhhhhhh! You and the doggie kids have fun for me too, okay?

Cute as a whip, Trudee…made me giggle too! I think I just HAVE to have Anna’s Halloween sets…had ‘em in my cart once and then backed out! Love the bright fibers in contrast with your new dp–perf!
