Several of you asked about LadyG.  HECK YES, I still have her!! HAHA!! June 21st was the anniversary of bringing her home. What a great year it has been. I’m so thankful for the truly awesome friends I’ve met…all from this little chocolate car. Whoda thunk it?

I also still have Murphy, Toby, and Seri. Wheezer, my little old man kitty turned 19 in June.

Several of you have asked how things are going. Well, I certainly can’t complain. Now that the weather is getting warmer, I’m spending a large part of my weekend with the MINI clubs. I’m still completely in love with that little car!!  In a little over a week, I’ll be spending several days with over 300 MINIs!! We have 600 people registered for this annual event called MINIs on the Dragon. I’ll have the opportunity to meet many friends I’ve made online, and I simply cannot wait. Here’s a pic of me from a couple weeks ago at The Dragon. The photographer actually used it on his blog! I was kinda shocked. He titled it “All Smiles”. Ha! Yep, that’s me. Work is going well, and the dogs and cat are all great, too. Life is pretty good at casa Trudee! I hope everything is equally good in your world, too. ~~HUGS!!~~

I’m still here! I’m still alive.

Just wanted to check in with you all and say hello! I do miss all of you very much, and hope you’re doing well. I’m going to be working on some creative things this weekend. Those things I will not be able to share, but I’m hoping I can squeeze out something to post here! Wish me luck!

Hi everyone!

I want to thank you all for your kind thoughts and concern. Things are crazy as ever here! I’ve not had the time or mojo to do any creating to share with you, but I did not want to let this holiday pass without saying “Thank You” to all of you. I’m certain that things will get back on track for me here, I just don’t know when. Your concern and support is much appreciated.

So, as we celebrate this wonderful holiday of thanks, I give thanks to all of you who make my days brighter. Enjoy this time with those you love!

I am in Phoenix for the past few days, attending Creative Escapes 2008. It is unbelievable! I had classes with Heidi Swapp, Kolette Hall, Kelly Goree, and Jessica Guthrie yesterday, and today is Tim Holtz (OMG!! WAHOO!), Janet Hopkins, Jenni Bowlin, and Laurie Stamas.

I’ll be sure to share some of my learnings with you all soon, but in the meantime, Here’s a couple photos of the breathtaking sunset last night from our resort. Totally amazing! (click for full size!)

I have been working a LOT and needed to break free this weekend. I have some more fun on tap today and tomorrow, but wanted to show you what I did yesterday!

I got together with several folks from our MINI Motoring group–we went to lunch, then took a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hit some rain up around 5000 ft (Mt Pisgah area), but continued on up to the highest point on the Parkway: 6053 ft. The rain stopped, and provided a cool/eerie backdrop for our fabulous MINIs.

Yesterday was one of those days when my smile went deep into my soul. I love how this little car makes you feel like a child again. Owning a MINI is not just owning a car. It’s a way of life. Dare to be different! Sharing my joy with others who feel the same way about this little car is the icing on the cake.

Several of you have emailed me asking where I’ve been, and I thank you for missing me! I have been really busy with work, and life in general.

I did take a break a couple weekends ago and took Lady G out on the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as over to the Biltmore Estate. Here’s a few pics of her in her natural habitat!
