Well it’s Friday the 13th, and you know what that means!! Ellen Hutson’s big 13% off sale!!!
Friday the 13th is not typically known for being a “lucky” day, but here at Ellen Hutson LLC we have tried to change that! Once again on Friday, June 13th any order that is placed in the 13 hours between 6:00am and 7:00pm Pacific Savings Time (that is the West Coast in the United States) will receive a 13% discount on the entire order. All you need to do is remember to enter the promotion code when you reach the checkout page!
Please note that upon completion of your order the promotion price will be listed on the individual product line and not at the end of the invoice. Enter the code exactly as it is shown below during that 13 hour window and the discount is yours on any and all products posted on our webstore that day!
Promotion Code: 131313V3
Please note that once an item is no longer visible on the store that means we are currently out of stock - so shop early!
Happy Shopping!!!

Hi everyone!
I’ve had a busy weekend. I brought home a new puppy yesterday! Seri was on death row at a shelter in Greenville SC. I was able to save her before they put her down, and now she is mine, allll mine!

Isn’t she gorgeous? It’s unimaginable to me that she almost died at the age of 9 months old, but that is what happens due to overcrowding in shelters. That is why it’s so important to me to rescue my pets. Through no fault of their own, these animals end up suffering horrible conditions.
There are so many animals that are homeless and deserve a loving home. I find my dogs on Petfinder.com.
You can tell that her beautiful chocolate fur is completely bleached out from living a life outdoors. That makes me sad, but I’m so happy that she now has a chance at a wonderful life. Her fur will grow out and be a deep, rich, shiny brown. I know this, because when I rescued Shelby at the age of 2, she had this same awful fur…it didn’t take too long for hers to grow in!
Seri is soooo smart!!! Already knows her new name, sit, down, and come. She also knows the word “NO!” LOL!
Seri’s name is short for the word Serendipity. Remember I chose that word back in January? I think it suits her perfectly.
Here’s a few more pictures of my sweet little girl. The last one *cracks me up*!!!

Welcome home, Seri! Momma loves you.

So, remember THIS POST I shared with you back in April? I have been not-so-patiently waiting for June to arrive, to get info on when m’ Lady Godiva would be built. I’ve been calling MINI customer service weekly, getting updates.

A couple weeks ago I called them, and they mentioned that it appeared production was getting moved up. They said it looked like my car would be built the week of 5/27. (this week!). Well, imagine my surprise when I called last week, and they happily informed me that my baby was born on 5/20!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is *three weeks* earlier than originally scheduled!
So, she will be finished today, 5/28, and then I will be able to track her coming across “the pond”. They say it takes 2-3 weeks for the trip, which means I will have her by the end of June…in time for my birthday July 2nd!!!
Honestly, I can barely contain my excitement. It’s surreal to me that I am actually getting my dream car, and will be driving her within a month! Every time I think about it, I start bouncing and giggling like a kid at Christmas!
Thanks for sharing in my excitement with me! Some of you have asked about the progress, so I thought I’d post it for everyone. Thanks for stopping by!!
